I took a package to the Athens Alabama location to be returned to Amazon and have yet to receive my refund. I visited the location a couple of days ago and the employee informed me that my return was "sitting over in the bend" waiting to be shipped. He said they only ship out when the bin gets full enough. I went to the UPS Store to purchase a box to ship a picture frame. I was shocked to find out that they charged me $17 for a simple cardboard box. Shipping not included! I am all for free enterprise and making a profit, but charging $17 is a complete ripoff! You want to feel like you received value for your money and $17 for a plan cardboard box, heavy duty or not feels like a ripoff! I've seen boxes range in price from a few dollars to around $5 or $6 . I was even happy to pay around $8, but NOT $17!!!! Just be aware before of there practices! read more

I needed 2 business size cards laminated and went to the UPS Store on Kemp Blvd. in Wichita Falls,Texas.I went in on friday afternoon about 4pm. I was the only customer in the store and was told it took 30 min.for the laminating machine to warm up and the cards wouldn't be ready til sometime on Monday and they are open on Saturdays.So I went about 2 blocks over to the Fed Ex store and they had them laminated in less than 5 minutes. The Fed Ex store was friendlier also. They will be getting my business from now on. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences here. I use this location primarily to drop off prepaid packages and the staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive. I sold a musical instrument to a buyer in Nevada. The buyer asked me to ship it UPS 2ND DAY AIR A.M. GUARANTEED because he wanted to receive the instrument by the week-end. Cost of shipping: a whopping $202.00 (Twohundredtwodollars!)... Buyer agrees, I ship on Thursday morning at 9:30 am. The package is not delivered on the second day after shipping, nor on the third day, nor on the fourth day. It is finally delivered on the fifth day, i.e. on Tuesday of the following week. In the afternoon. More over, the package was NEVER shipped by air. If I look at the tracking history, it has been processed in a multitude of small and large towns during its travel from Michigan to Nevada. It was shipped Ground. That would have cost just $56.00. OK. I call UPS and ask for a refund. The customer service representative put me on hold for three minutes, then a manager takes the call and tells me that I cannot be refunded. WHY? I ask. UPS clearly states on this shipping option: 2ND DAY AIR A.M. GUARANTEED. Guaranteed. The UPS manager tells me that they received directions from the corporate headquarters NOT TO HONOR THE WARRANTIES, due to Covid 19. I would say, with THE EXCUSE of Covid. Really? People travel by plane, merchandise is shipped every day all over the world by plane, UPS ships a package Ground instead of Air, but guarantees the customer that is going to be shipped 2nd Day Air AM, charges four times the cost of Ground, and finally says: sorry, it is because of Covid. Of course, they do not post on their web site big visible alerts that warranties are suspended... They just take the money. What a cowardly way to take advantage of the pandemic in order to trick customers and make more money, right, UPS? read more

This store used to be so friendly and helpful but lately after what appears to be new ownership or management it has totally gone downhill on its customer service! The last few times I've been in they have been unable to take care of what I've needed and have referred me to the post office. I am a painter and often sell painting that need to be shipped to the buyer. Both times I have used them the boss was rude. (the younger guys are fine) They very expensive to simply pack a painting, but say they cannot insure it unless they pack it. They told us they could to get the painting packed and shipped the day it arrived (in the morning) and it is 24 hours later and it's not shipped yet. Wake up guys- if you don't have the time to do it in a timely manor... don't say you can. Charging 40+ $ to pack a box and then being late is not good business. This is almost the same story as last shipment- this is last time we use them! read more

I was there to follow up on a package that I dropped two months ago from Comcast (returning equipment) and never arrived to destination. The gentleman there was very unhelpful. He said trucking number was generated by Comcast and even though he scanned the label he could not truck it. I worked with ups in the past shipping and receiving packages as a manager in a retail store and there are many ways to follow up on this kind of issues. This guy didn't even try! Very disappointed. I phoned this store to enquire on their services as I needed some documents notarized. The person who answered the phone said they were too busy with in store customers and hung up rudely. I decided to move mine and my companies business to fedex and will not give UPS anymore business. It does not take a lot to just be polite and remember you never know who you are talking to and how big the account is. read more

Every year my wife sends baked goods to our son. We only recently moved from the East Coast to nearby Superior Colorado. In previous years other UPS stores packed our shipment and the goods arrived in perfect shape. This UPS store charged us for special packaging materials, they packed the shipment, and charged us a premium for the packaging and insurance. Needless to say, the package arrived in shambles. It's been months since the shipment, and the owner and staff have had a who gives a damn attitude. No insurance, no refund, no cares. Plus they keep asking for, and I have provided, photos of the damaged package contents. Do yourself a favor and keep walking by this store. Either use Fed Ex or the USPS services. Even dropping your package out of an airliner will achieve better results. read more

After being told over the phone that the UPS store (3700 Quebec, Suite 100, Denver, CO) provides notary services, and the hours the service would be available, three witnesses and I arrived at the store. II needed the witnesses for signing one of three documents and they had agreed to take the time to join me at the store. We waited in line as the store, properly, was practicing social distancing. The store clerk, appropriately, asked that only one of us enter but they relented when I told them I needed three witnesses (and had learned when calling earlier that none of the employees would serve as witnesses of my signing). However, when I told the notary that one of the documents was my will, he said he could not notarize the signing of a will. One of my witnesses, a lawyer, asked why. The clerk just said that was "policy." When questioned further, to the notary's credit, he said he would check with the manager, who was off site. He returned after supposedly talking with the manager and repeated that he couldn't notarize the signing of a will. When asked again why not, he said "company policy" being unclear as to whether that was the fanchisee's policy or UPS policy. My issue is not with the notary. Rather, it is with the franchisee or UPS. My witnesses and I wasted over an hour of our time. Since notaries notarize the signing of deeds and other important documents It makes no sense that they won't notarize the signing of a will. And, with businesses shut down even still, it is difficult to find a notary making this experience even more aggravating. read more

I went to this location to get my son's passport photo taken. Some mopey kid who could care less took the picture and was glad to take my money. Although he couldn't say "thank you" for me coming to this location. When I went to the PO to get the passport the post office person said my son's head was cut off in the pic and it wouldn't be usable. I took the pics back to this UPS store and told them my situation ( yes the mopey kid was working) and I asked him if he remembered me as it had only been two days before. He said he didn't remember it (yes he did) and he had to go through some long process to refund my money. (I kept the receipt but did not have it with me at the time not knowing I would be in that area yesterday). Of course there was some hemming and hawing on the part of the manager ( because everyone hates to have to give money back for a defective product that was their fault in the first place). And of course there was no "I'm so sorry this happened" there was no any kind of empathy. No "have a nice day" no nothing. And again. We wonder why small business are becoming obsolete. It's because small business CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND I WILL NOT GIVE MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO GREEDY PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! read more

We travel to Palm Harbor, Fl several times per year. For the last several years we have shipped packages/ boxes back to Philly from Store # 6278. Lizz Davis and her staff are nothing short of exceptional. They are kind, caring and professional to their customers. Items that we purchase from the area as well as baseball memorabilia which includes photos from the 50's & 60's, autographed baseballs in plastic globes, baseball bats and other sports related goodies are wrapped perfectly. We have never had a problem with anything that we ship. Previously we had shipped from other shippers in the area and were disappointed. When we started to ship from Store # 6278 all that changed. We just came back from the Palm Harbor area and our got our box today. All the items were wrapped perfectly and again no problem with this shipment. Thank you Annalisa for the packing and Thank You Ms. Davis for all the years of handling our packages without a problem. We will be back in a few weeks and will be shipping more packages & boxes back to Philly. read more

I went to this place hoping to get a document notarized, I was asked to reprint the document and come back before 5 pm, I went back at 4:50pm and was rudely told that notary is already gone for the day, that's funny , first you ask someone to come all the way back and then leave without realizing the value of other persons time, and since the beginning she was little hesitant in notarizing my document without any straight clear answer.
