When returning Amazon packages it is very difficult to scan bar code because they do not have internet for customers. Phone reception is terrible here so internet is a necessity for this kind of business, especially. They tell you to try standing outside to get reception. I find that the deliver for our office location apparently doesn't understand their position or job that when you are not able to deliver a package you put a slip on the person's door and give them the option to pick up their packages so that they know that they even exist at the post office, I don't work for the post office you do and you chose that job. They just tell the customer (curtly & rudely) to call the UPS 800 number. in this case, the store typed in the wrong digit on the address, but no apology, no offer of help, and of course no refund. The UPS Store is NOT UPS. They can ship your package by USPS (which they did for mine). So, going in and buying a 2-day delivery that gets delivered over to USPS results in a 4-day delivery. Are you kidding me!! I sent out my save the dates through UPS last week, first of all the lady took them out of my hand and physically threw them in a bucket right in front of me. Now I am getting texts from family members with photos of how destroyed my save the dates are when receiving them! UPS PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG BECAUSE IT WAS SO RIPPED UP. 10 years of travel, shipping items every week for a decade, from various UPS and Fed Ex stores around the globe. This is the first store where I purchased packing goods (bubble wrap & tape) and was told I was not allowed to pack up anything while in the store. Never have I ever been told this. I was informed by one of the employees that a customer one day packed up numerous items and "the owner got pushed off and decided to not allow anyone to package items in the store". WTF?!?!? It's a packing and shipping store that sells shipping supplies and ships packages. This is what you do! Not doing exactly what you're in business for is simply idiotic. I won't return. There are too many other stores that actually understand good business pr I would give 0 stars if I could. 4 months later the owner responds??? BTW, not one employee expressed there was an option to package up the goods in the back. I was simply told, you can't pack up in the store. His response, sadly reinforces my experience and their policy. I emphasize. You have to know that this ups store is scamming customers with their charges. They are not good people. I shipped 66 lbs to Florida, charged me $400!!! They couldn't give me the breakdown until I elevated to corporate. They said this store charges independently. I took my complaint to Better Business Bureau and the audacity of the manager to ignore the complaint. He did not even respond to the BBB complaint. I am not filing a request for corporate to investigate the business practice at this location. If I could give them a ZERO star rating I would. The store took 108.02 for an express package which they said would be delivered in 2 days. They gave the package to the postal service and did not get it to them for two days. I would like to add this was LIVE FISH and I spent the extra money to ensure the delivery was 2nd day. When I went to the store the kid could not help me , he said I had to call the post office. I told him I paid him to delivery the package not USPS. I had an amazon return with a prepaid label that UPS was supposed to print for me when the package was picked up. UPS never came so I stopped by this store. Both employees (in an empty store) told me they couldn't print the label for me. I asked why the drivers were able to and they weren't. They told me they didn't have access to their system...the system of the company they work for. Ya'll they were dead serious. Neither of them gave any inquiry or thought into how they could help me with my problem. They just told me, almost immediately that they couldn't help me. What a joke .... apparently they decided to remove the tape from the store. I had two packages to ship out, both paid UPS shipments. They taped the first box and said they didn't have enough tape to tape the second box. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived 30 min before closing and Jose was patient, friendly and genuine in wanting to help me. HUGE BONUS- This store offers FREE packing tape!!!!! I had an awful experience at the FedEx across the highway (staff saw me struggling pregnant with a toddler to try and tape my package looking with condescending stares and then had no sympathy when I asked for a small piece of tape to affix the shipping label and instead charged me for it!) and I'll never return and instead use this UPS location. Almost every other UPS location charges you for tape. The owners here have all my future business just for proving a simple service as free tape! HIGH PRICING: This is a UPS Franchise Store - not a Corporate owned store - so the prices are jacked up. By their own admission it is cheaper at the Corporate owned UPS store in Boulder or Commerce City. Also, the shipping price I was quoted for an item they measured and weighed turned out to be lower by a few bucks than the actual price I had to pay. That is just plain misleading. BAD ATTITUDE: The person processing my package required me to repeat key information several times and I had to ask them to calm down at one point as they clearly got loud. Okay, maybe they were having a bad day. We are all human. That said, their bad attitude was capped by them never saying the simple word for my business at the end - "Thanks."
