I walked in this morning to send a package and was greeted first and foremost by wonderful smell…read morecoming from the store. I asked the two beautiful young ladies what was that smell was it a shampoo what were they wearing what did they burn. The graciously gave me a card that had the only information and they sprayed the card so if I would remember the sent. That was just one little detail along with their smiling faces, sunny disposition, willingness to help effectively and professionally, and the fact that they taped the box no charge were all just my reasons for calling this place my UPS store. It's the only courier shop that has a 4 star rating while take a look at the grumbling reviews on any platform they don't exceed 2 star. It's clean, well stocked, neat, offers a host for great services including notarizing, shredding, printing etc and the staff is stellar and always helpful. They are all UPS stores but franchises so you are dealing with small shop owners. Even if I have a closer UPS I make it here hands down. I support great local businesses.

UPS Store employees (Zach) advised me I had to pack the box inside another box even though this was the box amazon shipped it to me. He pointed to a sign on the counter and could not tell me where it said it had to be repacked. Ended up paying 14 dollars for a box there. Amazon confirmed that this was not correct. Amazon advised that if the box is packed in the original manner it was shipped and the labels are removed, UPS Store is supposed to take the package at no cost to the customer and it does not need to be placed in a plain box. This was a horrible nickle and dime scam that was reported to Amazon. I say this because it seems this location (which until today ive never had an issue) see's a lot of elderly folks. The person that helped me claimed he was the manager so I put this here for people to be cautious.

I sent a flyer to be printed and I told him the wrong size. I got there and I immediately told him "oh no I wanted this smaller" he proceeded to tell me "this is what you told me, how are you a business owner and you don't know what an 8.5 x 10 is" I found that comment to be very rude. It was an honest mistake , I told him he should not talk to his client like that and he told me I don't have to pay but he will not be doing future work with me. This WAS MY FIRST TIME!!! I was really looking forward to working with a local printing. I asked "do I have to pay for it ?" I did not say " I'm not paying for it" You reply "you don't pay for it but I'm not doing any future job for you" You could've easily said " I will reprint the correct size but it will not be the same amount I were told before" Instead of going back and forth , come up with a solution with the client, you don't know who I would've referred to your business. It was my mistake telling you the wrong size but mistakes happen I was still willing to pay whatever price but for THE RIGHT thing. He agreed to proceed. I sent my blank t-shirts, which were delivered on November 17, 2025, and then sent my high-density print rubber with my logo on November 28, 2025. However, he did not communicate the labor costs involved. We communicated until December 5, 2025, but I did not hear from him again for nearly three weeks until December 22, 2025. When he finally responded, he explained that he had to step away for business unexpectedly, but he failed to inform me of this situation beforehand. Since December 22, I have not received any further updates. I have called daily and sent an email, but I have not heard back for nearly a month. This lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on his business practices. At this point, I simply want my items returned, as I am not willing to wait any longer. If you are looking for someone who prioritizes effective communication and values your time, I would not recommend going to Hialeah Printing.
