The only time they reached out was when they had a question about the payment. 2) I simply asked for my keyboard keys to be made less sticky. They didn't fix the problem at all. I NOW have to take it back to another technician. 3) A week after I left my computer at the store, once they said they had fixed it, they called and said that they had lost my password. I told them multiple times what it was and texted it to them. They said it didn't work and asked me to come down. Once I was there, they said they got it to work. This was the absolute biggest waste of money I have ever spent. And the biggest biggest waste of time. I 100% don't recommend this service, and please don't book an appointment with them. My technician was called Darian. I don't know if it was his fault, or the fault of the company - probably both. but I was shock by the deception and unreliability.

He then came back a couple of days later and installed everything and made sure that my server was connected and everything ran properly. For apple devices only capable of 5 ghz wifi band, I got an increase from about 120mb to about 250 mb. On Devices capable of using the 6 ghz band, I went from 120mb to about 700mb. Then he helped set up my work server so that other employees could access my billing database so that I did not need to have a complicated and manpower intensive way of getting everyone's data into the master file. At the same time I noticed that they also did computer repair, I was having some minor issues with my laptop and figured why not bring it in. I had mentioned that my computer had some viruses & that it was over heating. I emphasized that I needed all the material on the computer and that I did not want anything to be erased. They assured me that they could do it. They estimated the repair to be about 3-5 business days in order for parts to be delivered. I waited two and a half weeks for my laptop to be repaired. Far longer then what they had estimated. Upon arrival I was informed that they deleted all of my data because I had not approved a data back up which was not mentioned at the time of service even though the lab top memo clearly stated "customer needs her data, be careful" I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in their service. The entire purpose of the repair was to maintain all of my stored work, if I had wanted a clean hard drive I would have invested in a new laptop. Long story short, the shop is only efficient in cell phone repair. I will not be returning.

WARNING -- BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS SHOP…read more My son brought his brand-new gaming PC to iDEAL PC REPAIRs, INC for one simple job: install a CPU cooler. The work order clearly stated exactly what needed to be done. When he called for an update, Elvis Echevarria became rude, dismissive, and yelled at my son that the visit was a "waste of time" because the cooler was allegedly the wrong size. Instead of professionally explaining the issue, he abruptly hung up on him. When my son picked up the PC, it was returned DISASSEMBLED with loose parts and would no longer power on -- despite working perfectly before being brought into the shop. The motherboard pins were also damaged while the computer was in their possession. Even more concerning, Elvis could not clearly explain what had been done to the computer and then suggested taking it to another repair shop to diagnose the issue. That made absolutely no sense coming from a "repair" business. We later brought the PC to Micro Center in Miami, where technicians stated the computer appeared to have been tampered with. Thankfully, they were able to repair the damage professionally. A working PC was returned damaged, incomplete, and unusable. Terrible customer service, zero accountability, and a very stressful experience overall. After this experience, I would strongly caution people not to rely solely on online ratings and reviews when choosing a repair shop. Positive reviews do not always reflect the quality, professionalism, or honesty you may actually encounter. We trusted the reviews and deeply regret it. After this experience, the so-called "value" and reputation of this place mean absolutely nothing to me. A business is not measured by flashy claims or online ratings -- it's measured by honesty, professionalism, accountability, and how customers are treated when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, iDEAL PC REPAIRs, INC failed in every one of those areas. No customer should ever have to deal with rude and unprofessional behavior like we experienced from Elvis Echevarria. Since this incident, I formally requested reimbursement for the expenses my son had to pay to have his PC repaired and functioning again after the damage occurred. A demand letter was sent to Elvis Echevarria requesting resolution of the matter, yet there has been no response whatsoever. That lack of accountability and professionalism speaks volumes. Businesses that stand behind their work communicate with customers and attempt to resolve problems -- they do not ignore them. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others before trusting this shop with expensive equipment.
