18 minutes ago Came in to the store this morning promptly when they opened gave a friendly hello to the Man behind the counter which he did not recuperate. No worries. I come up to pay and the total is $2.61 so I give him a $5 bill and 65 cents. 1 quarter 4 dimes. I tell him keep the pennies. He says there will be no pennies I owe him 6 cents. I did the math out loud to make sure I was right and I said no that should be four pennies and he said I don't need your effing help. This completely took me off guard. I told him you have no need to be rude to me you were doing the math wrong not me. He then tells me he has been doing math for longer than I've been alive. I then tell him I want a refund and my package back because I do not trust that he will mail it out. Especially now that I've read all of the other reviews I'm sure I did the right thing. I did tell him he was a grumpy old man and he should treat others as he wished to be treated like we all learned in kindergarten. To top it all off I ask about the owner and he is the owner!! Came here for finger prints, forgot my wallet had to go get it and return, girl did not tell me they stopped doing finger prints that day, came back and the guy said they stopped doing it for that day and to come back tomorrow when he is working 7:30-2, came back the next day and the dude working there said they don't do it until 10. This is the worst UPS store I have ever been in. They are extremely unorganized and the front desk is a joke. My package said signed for and delivered and I came in with my shipping label and the representative would not even spend more than 30 seconds looking for my package. He had a bad attitude the whole time as well cause he had a small line. Get some better employees that actually care and aren't there just to collect a paycheck. read more

FedEx lied about me not being home for them to deliver a package that was supposed to be delivered to me two days ago which I've cleared my schedule for the last two days in order to receive this package which has food yeah they never rang the doorbell never knocked on the door never even stopped by I've been home all day the last two days my dogs have not even made a peep about a doorbell being rain or is the door being not done yet in the report that they sent they said that I was not here to receive the package and the attempt was tried so my food was never delivered when it was supposed to be delivered because they never showed up but yet seemed to be able to lie and say that I was not home! read more

I went to re-fax some documents to this location after faxing it at another UPS a week ago. The associate wanted to charge me $12 for the same amount of documents that I had faxed before for just $7.50. I informed him of that and he proceeded to tell me that I should go back to that location. That was unmerited and unprofessional. I was simply asking for an explanation and he basically threw me out of the store. Clearly, he hates his job and the business he works for. I wouldn't recommend anybody visiting here unless they want their day ruined by a miserable man. read more

Every time I try to call it says call cannot be completed! They can't even keep their information accurate! Update: I had two packages delivered (I'll say Package A and Package B to make it easy). They gave me a slip to sign for Package B but gave me Package A!!! After a week I called and said I'm missing a package. They said there are no packages for me so I told them the tracking number which they replied with "You already signed for Package B". I said that is not possible because I never received it! After 3 months they finally called me and said I had a package sitting here for 3 months... I showed and and guess what??? It was package B!!!! thanks A-holes! Update 2: After using them for 3 years I am now transferring to a better store!!! The old man (don't know his name/not worth remembering) with one eye is unprofessional and rude! For the past 7 months we have been renewing on time/early and I go in every 2-4 weeks to pick up mail. EVERY time I go in he says I have NO MAIL... Finally I say "Are you sure there is no packages or mail for R***** or K******?" He said no, your Box is expired so we gave it to someone else?!?!?!?! FIRST OFF why would you not tell me months ago when i come in every other week?!?!? SECOND, he REFUSED to look up my account and said it is a waste of his time!!! THIRD!! He called me a rude young lady because I was NOT willing to come back another day.... I finally left after a half hour arguing with him and spent an hour drive wasted. Half way home, the IDOT called me and said "It looks like you renewed on ***** and are current on your bill. I'm not sure why we have been sending your mail/packages back" NO DUH MORON!! Long story short he has been charging us for a PO box for 3 years (including the past year) but for the past 6 months has been sending our mail back to the sender!!! He sold it to someone else while we were still paying for it which is ILLEGAL! We have been paying for a PO box that we have not been able to use!! Worst company ever! DO NOT USE THEM!! They offer package preparation and are open quite late. They are a satellite office and have pickups normally scheduled you can track your package all the way to delivery the rates are cheapest for ground service. read more

Went in on Friday needing to ship a car key overnight to my friend in Salt Lake City, UT. In the course of the conversation I told Michael (store agent that assisted me) that I would be leaving to drive to Salt Lake on Sunday night, but that my friend needed to have the key on Saturday to begin working on the car. Michael assured me that the key would be delivered by 9pm, but he could guarantee delivery by 10:30am for a couple of dollars more. I accepted the 10:30am delivery. The package was delivered on Monday at which point I pulled out my receipt to find that the expected delivery date read Monday 10:30am. I called the store this morning and was asked to call back to speak with a manager tomorrow. About 30 minutes ago I received a return call from Michael during which he lied about having showed me a chart with delivery options, and had told me that deliveries on Saturdays could not be guaranteed. He stated that he had already talked to the store owner who refused to refund the charge because the package has already been delivered. In short, I paid $43.48 to ship a package with a service called "NEXT DAY AIR", with repeated assurances of its timely delivery, and was lied to in store, and further upon follow up with the store. To send something 650 miles on Friday and have it delivered Monday I could have used the USPS and paid 49 cents. What can brown do for me? Eat brown. read more

Avoid this location at all costs. These are franchises and I would not use this store. I do not live in this area but it is by my work so i went to drop off some mail. I went in and some guy with a bad eye said 'we don't take mail'. I said why not, other locations do, and he said, there is a box out there in the parking lot. SERIOUSLY?? What an idiot. Also, there were customer packages to be sent just sitting all around and when i first walked in there, there was no out out there by the counter. Anyone could just walk off with this stuff. While temporarily living in Tempe, I had to ship from this UPS store multiple times. Unfortunately, the service at this specific location was poor at best. On one visit a younger employee treated me like I had zero knowledge on shipping, and was rude. On my last and final visit today, I left feeling like I was overcharged ($9 for a cardboard box), and once again was treated poorly, especially for spending $100+. I would recommend avoiding this location, and taking your business elsewhere. I personally will not recommend to friends, or return. read more

Really odd store. I went in to ship stuff for work with a pre-paid shipping label but no envelope. Guy at counter said to grab an envelope from the side- not a ups envelope but a tan blank one like you'd get at Office Depot. Weird but okay. I always have such great service at this store (2020). When I go to other UPS stores they always seem to find a reason they can't process my amazon returns. Now I don't even bother going to another one, even if I have to drive a little further I come here. A huge thank you to Christian at this store! This is my first time I have ever had to write a review but the encounter I have had in here the past couple times coming into this store were very unprofessional. A couple days ago I went to drop off a package and was greeted with the most nonchalant "can I help you?" from behind the counter by a thin young gentleman who was sitting down eating food and had acted as if I had interrupted and inconvenienced him. This most current time I had come in and got in line and was next to be waited on and as one staff member was working assisting another customer in front of me I saw the same young guy who was sitting down behind the counter again too busy on his phone to notice me and help me with mailing off a package and was taking long enough that the other staff member ended up helping me. A very kind and helpful employee named Michael assisted me in sending a package of very fragile and sentimental items that belonged to my recently deceased mother from Tempe to the Boston area. He was detailed in his description of materials and packing methods that would be used in ensuring a safe journey for my precious, invaluable items. And he did this for me on a walk in basis on a Saturday afternoon. Explained all pricing and options and treated me with patience and respect. These people are totally disgruntled and take it out on you, the customer! I rarely ever ship so it would be nice to come in and be able to ask some simple questions and not receive some EVIL stare from the one older gentleman that works there. He speaks to you like youre an idiot?. He thinks you're stupid because you don't know any of the possible shipping options and associated prices to ship something? I swear that I think I saw his HORNS pop out when I asked what was the cheapest possible option to ship!!! This man should be FIRED! I like this store. I've only dealt with three people who work there and I haven't really had issues. The older gentleman who works there is certainly not pleasant and shouldn't be working with customers but I get that it's hard to fine talent. My issue is the notary service. Between getting married, opening accounts, buying a house etc I've had to get a number of things notarized and sometimes my husband needed to be there. He is a teacher and works during the week and I work every weekend. When you have to have notary done you're typically on a time crunch and this location doesn't or hasn't posted their notary hours. This hasn't been an issue until a few days ago. We rushed to the store and saw that the notary was there. It was 5:15pm. I asked to have a form notarized for my mortgage broker and the younger gentleman behind the counter said no. I pointed to the notary and said she's here, why can't you do it? He said she stops taking notary clients at 5 because she has to close up alone and it take forever. She didn't even look at us or seem like she felt it necessary to look up. He asked her and she just said no. He told us to go to the title loan place down the strip mall. We went there, it cost $2 and the girl was nice. She stated she gets a lot of UPS customers. We returned to UPS to send the form. The gentleman was apologetic but the whole thing was overly complicated. Seriously, post your hours for notary clearer. I guess most people take a day off for notary? read more

The owner of this UPS store is extremely rude and incompetent. My landlords have a box here were we are expected to drop our rent checks. The owner has put the rent check into the wrong box twice. Once, a good Samaritan returned the rent check to my landlords at their home, but the second time it was never recovered. When I visited the location to ask if he would double check, the owner was extremely rude to me, and went so far as to slam his hand on the counter and shout at me. DO NOT GO HERE! I just lost out of 300$ because of the so called "owner" there (Terrence i think). He purposely shipped my personal belongings to the wrong address because I told him the prices were way to high (which they were). And when I went back to tell him what he did, he started to yell at me! Like I shipped my own belongings to someone else on purpose! He told me to literally "screw off I'm not doing anything for you, go and call customer service." I have never been so enraged in my life. Now all my belongings are with someone I don't know and I'll never get them back nor will I be reimbursed for them. I am defiantly calling corporate and I suggest to anyone who doesn't want their belongings mailed somewhere else on purpose because this guy doesn't know how to take rejection then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
