I have gone to the store with a shopping cart filled with paintings and a quite large albeit collapsible leather chair and footstool to send off - they packed all items most carefully, they arrived in pristine condition and it took me less than 15 minutes! I've used the store to pack and/or ship/mail items for three years now and they've never been less than courteous, fast, and responsive in every way. Yes, they can be busy, but I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes (literally), before I was greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. They also do their best to give the customer the choice of the least expensive way of shipping items. Maybe it's also to do with the customer's attitude? The very nice people that work in the store and have been supremely helpful to me may have a human side. I know I do and I would react adversely if someone just comes in and makes demands in an imperious way. For those customers who wrote a less than complimentary review, I may recommend an attitude check. read more

I went to this UPS store to get an estimate for printing and binding a large document. The store owner provided me with an estimate, but when I returned the next day he charged me $25 MORE than his initial estimate. The store owner refused to refund my money. Finally, the store owner agreed to refund the amount that would bring my charges to his initial estimate, but when I asked for the initial estimate my goal was to avoid paying too much for such a simple task. I would not have done business with this store owner AT ALL if I had been provided with a true estimate and I will NEVER do business with this store in the future. The store owner treated me as if I'd made a mistake. Word of advice: The customer is always right. read more

I own a small business and have a lot of printing needs. The shop's staff are timely, which makes doing business a lot easier. If a customer of mine needs a print-out, I can count on the UPS Store to get the job done and then send it. read more

Best UPS store ever! Had to ship a laptop and they did everything, packaged it and all! Super helpful and friendly and above all convenient!

Though it is more expensive than I would like, it's conveniently located between where I live and the metro. I ship things fairly frequently and have never had any trouble. The staff that I've encountered have all been really nice. I can't say anything about their notary services, but if you need to ship packages or get stamps, you should be fine. read more

As of 5/26/2015 this is NOT a UPS store; they refuse to take UPS packages because "their system is down". I assumed it was a temporary problem and asked when the system would be fixed. They said in a couple of months, and I think they said they stopped taking packages a few weeks ago! This place is great if you want to be overcharged for envelopes. read more

This store is a DHL pickup location. I prepaid for a DHL shipping label and dropped it off at this store, and the store tried to claim I needed a corporate account number. Multiple calls to DHL confirmed the store was mistaken. The store failed to call in a DHL pickup request, delaying my package by a full 24 hours. DHL customer service profusely apologized for the behavior at this store. I highly recommend DHL but suggest you drop your package off at an alternate location. read more

Terrible UPS store. Wanted Notary services. Called in advance to be sure they had them. They said yes. Went to the store and was told by Frank, the notary to wait. I waited over 10 minutes. Other customers came in the store and were served in that time. I eventually went to back to the desk and asked again for the notary. He said everyone in the store has to be served before notary services. I said that was ridiculous considering they offer notary services on the front of the store. I told him I was going to complain. He looked at me and without checking his credentials, said, "My commission is expired." This means that he specifically denied service because I complained. Terrible customer service. read more

The customer service of this location exceeded my expectations. I was in a real jam and the store manager helped me out by printing my resume from his personal account. Apparently this location has new management. They are efficient and costumer oriented. Too bad I live in New Orleans, otherwise I would frequent this location. read more

Owner/manager is rude and awful. Interrupted frequently and hung up on me. You couldn't pay me enough to come back here.

Actually it is a very convenient store. In less than 1 minute I drop off my returns from amazon.

Worst customer service I've ever had, anywhere. Needed a document notarized, and after waiting in line, was told I needed to wait until all other customers in the store had been helped. 10 mn later, when the store was empty, the guy (who seemed to be the boss) still hadn't looked back up at me, so I went up to the counter and said "can you notarize my document now?" He said "I don't like your attitude. I don't like that face. You can go across the street to the Wells Fargo, they have a notary." When I protested that I hadn't made any face, he said "I don't like your attitude, you can go to Wells Fargo." Luckily Wells Fargo did indeed have a notary, who did it with a smile and for no no charge. THis place is absolutely ridiculous, I will never go back there for any reason. read more

Worst shipping experience ever, still haven't received compensation. I trusted this UPS store to move most of my belongings from DC to Minneapolis a year ago, last August. The most important item being shipped was a beloved painting that had recently been beautifully framed. I, being a responsible customer, paid the extra insurance. Low and behold when I arrived in Minneapolis, the frame was completely busted. I was devastated. UPS had a driver come pick up the damaged painting and returned it to DC to be assessed for insurance. Long story short.........after a year of battling Frank the owner, including him losing documents needed for the insurance filing process, telling me its not his problem, etc, I am still waiting on a check for which I am rightly owed. Fortunately the corporate office has gotten involved or else I know I would never see the reimbursement on this INSURED painting. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION: the one in Columbia Heights, while a pain to get to, is awesome. (p.s. If I could give this zero stars I would) read more
