I owe the UPS store in Tosa on State St. an update. I'm guessing about two years ago, ownership changed and I was concerned because I have a mail box here. However, my worries were for naught. The new owner, Raj, has done a great job providing the customary services the UPS Store is known for. His staff is excellent. They are both efficient and helpful. They also anticipate needs when you come into the store and often times have package or mail waiting for us. Compared to other UPS stores I have frequented, especially in Los Angeles, CA, this place is night and day above the rest. Horrible customer service they had an attitude. I didn't understand all UPS stores are different now I really see and won't be coming back here I usually go to a different one but I was over this way so I tried it out never again. I work for a small business and relied on UPS to get our package to a customer for a last minute order on time. Due to a mistake on their part, our package was returned, and we were then forced to purchase an overnight shipment, which cost us three times the amount. Now neither the store nor UPS is willing to give us a refund for their mistake and continue to point their fingers at each other. This has been a nightmare of a customer service experience and we will no longer use UPS for our business moving forward. read more

I use this UPS store frequently and it's the best one I've ever been at. I have never had a problem. The people are friendly, my returns are handled carefully, and I've never had to wait too long. They are courteous even when the customers in front of me have been completely disorganized and did not bring their items for return in the appropriate state for return or sending. I actually travel 45 minutes to use this specific UPS store! read more

Excellent customers service. Careful packaging and exactly what they advertise themselves as

On a Friday afternoon I paid $243 to overnight some perishable food on ice. Zach, the clerk who waited on me, was very friendly and helpful. I found out the following day that the food had not arrived and would not be delivered until Monday. At that point it would be spoiled. When I went back to the store I was informed by Tom, the manager, that delivery dates were only estimates. Zach never told me that nor was it posted anywhere in the store. Why would I pay $243 For overnight service if it was was only an estimate? Tom implied that maybe I misunderstood, which bordered on insulting. Then he tried to distance himself from UPS by noting that the store was independently owned and operated. I feel that if you are going to benefit from the advertising and reputation of UPS, you should also stand by their product. Tom seemed to have empathy and promised to speak with the owner on Monday, but of course no one even had the courtesy to get back to me. Stay away from this store because they don't give a damn about their customers. read more

I frequent this location monthly, and the staff is helpful, quick and friendly. I am always greeted when I enter the store and they are able to answer any and all questions I have. I have never had to stand inline for longer than 5 minutes (even during the busy holiday season). read more

It's a small store but has everything to pack and go. I had to return my amazon rental book I ordered for my class. I didn't have a bag and tape. They already provided a bubble wrapped bag and tape out in the open for anyone to use for free. This is so convenient and hassle free when it was traffic time too. I'm glad that time I went wasn't busy at all. I think all post offices should have free tape for their customers. The next day I got an email that my rental book was returned to them. I didn't expect the service to be so fast. The staff there are friendly too. read more

I've come to this location on several occasions to send packages, make photocopies, print documents and send a fax. It is tucked away in the same strip mall as Metcalf's, next to the cleaners. Its a tiny place, but it'll get the basic job done. As Mike mentioned, it is super helpful that they can send either UPS or USPS, which has saved me time and money. This location happens to be a lot more convenient to me than any of the post offices in town, so I tend to go here if I have any prep work to do before sending out important documents. Each time I've gone, I've been helped quickly enough by employees, and they have overall been respectful and helpful. read more

The employees look like they hate their jobs and don't care about the customers. I drop packages of 2-3 times a week for work and have never gotten a smile or a thank you. The female employee is miserable to deal with, never friendly, most of the time she won't even speak a word to you. She'll just stare at you with a blank look on her face. I needed to return an Amazon item during the Safer At Home order. I was very impressed with the way this location handled everything. Limited number of people in the store, clear instructions for distancing while outside waiting to enter, and were very quick when I got inside. This is the type of organization I'd like to see everywhere right now. read more

Great customer service. Efficient - even when they have a line they get you in and out quickly and do a good job. They help you out if you have questions. I have gone to fedex and post office and have been ripped off for money to buy additional things (like tape to secure a shipping label to a package. Couldn't give me a few pieces of tape quick, made me buy a whole roll of $4 tape if I didn't want to come back later.) Whenever I come here they have an attachment for the shipping label ready and I just purchase the package to send my item in. I drive 15 minutes to drop off packages here and it's worth it. I'll never go anywhere else while living in the Milwaukee area. They deserve to be recognized for what they do! read more

This UPS Store location is the bomb.com! I'm always in and out quickly, except for when I feel like browsing, never leave dissatisfied, they've got a great card selection and I guess the owner and his wife sell candles and soaps they make! Pretty top notch stuff to boot. Not sure what drugs that Matteo dude was on. Maybe he just got dumped by his girlfriend and decided to bitterly take it out on this poor employee who just happened to be a woman. From what I've experienced, she seems pretty cool and definitely knows what she's doing, just a no muss, no fuss kind of gal. A real go-getter in my book. Regardless though, why single out the "female" employee when they're apparently ALL miserable to work with? Sounds more like someone's just a whiny asshole. Damn dude, put on your fedora and go home. Terrible, unreliable service. The guy working said that all I needed to pay for was a specific amount to ship a tire. He never told me that it costs more if it's not in a cardboard box and if the weight that had been initially recorded at the store is at all different from when they ship it then you'll be charged extra for it. So to ship a tire I ended up spending an EXTRA $40 to ship because it was AFTER it had already shipped from their store. This is their job. I would've appreciated saving myself $40 by shipping the tire the least expensive way possible. I'll never come here again read more
