We needed many documents to be copied and certified signature and witnessed and eventually apostille certification in Madison. This is an important step necessary to be done correctly from the very beginning if not you will have to start over. Madison will tell you how they want the documents notarized before they pass it along to the other countries consulate for their certification. This is particularly important because of identity fraud and security. We worked with both of the notaries and they were both patient with doing the paperwork accurately each time. Notary Public Concerns/Issues Peyton Freng; Notary Public needs more Training! Period! She purposely makes mistakes on important documents, so that the recipient calls UPS to fact check the validity of the Notary, which then provides proof of where the document went and essentially what the document was for! On Multiple Occasions, I've gone here to get documents Notarized for Business Reasons and Execution of Signature to ensure documents are witnessed properly. Each time the Notary makes a mistake on the document such as, 1)Writing the incorrect date, 2) Refusing to place Notary Stamp in a directed location by purchaser, or even 3)Writing/striking a line through the date; is a bait tactic. This bait tactic warns the recipient/viewer of signatures to "Fact Check," where the purchaser got the Notary from. In part, the Notary Public has concerns about what they are signing and want to verify where the document was going (i.e.) Reasons, just in case they were ever subpoenaed to come into court, they would know what they are attached to. In many cases, it is rare for a Notary Public to be pulled into ANY situation related to what a purchaser is having their signature witnessed on! I have had really important documents questioned by the recipient, because they had several markings on them! Wisconsin, is the ONLY state I've ever been to, where "Training is obtained, forgotten and not enforced, but the Credential Holder, remains licensed; under DSPS." However, the purchaser is held accountable for the mistake of the licensed individual!!! How does this even make sense? Going forward, I'll be using the sister organization I work with to get document signatures notorized/witnessed! If you are busy and down to the last hour, go here only if its urgent! I responded, asking again how much they charge, and they never answered. Since then, yrots (another notary listed on Yelp) informed me that local libraries may have notaries who will do this for free or a nominal charge. My partner and I picked up eight items, including six pieces of art, from this location this morning. The bespectacled and salt-n-pepper-haired woman who helped us has ZERO people skills. Talk about flat affect! I don't know if she was tired or didn't have enough coffee this morning, but a smile goes a looong way. As she was gathering our items, one of them with "Fragile" and "This End Up" stickers tumbled to the ground. When I said something about her careless handling of our items (which cost $1,500 to ship from Florida), she flippantly made a comment to the effect of "Well, I'm sure that they've been mishandled during the shipping process." That's likely the case, but NO customer wants to hear that when a valuable piece of art hits the ground. Furthermore, neither she nor her coworker offered to hold the door once as we were loading our car. I'd be hard-pressed to use this location of the UPS Store in the future. read more

The owner was not willing to help me when the package I sent was lost. It was a custom made "Memory Teddy Bear" made from my deceased Mother's clothing for her newborn grandchild. The "Tracking" info. said the package was left outside the door of a HUGE apt. complex in Austin, TX. The complex has lockers for each resident; however, UPS left the package at the door of the complex. Unbelievably incompetent & they refuse to take any action or responsibility for the lost package. Shout out to the crew at this UPS location. I come here mostly for Amazon returns, and I'm always in and out so quick. Like truly under a minute. I've always experienced kind customer service, and whenever there is a line they keep it moving quick. Most recently, I was back for a return drop and did something wrong with the label ahead of coming in. The sweet employee was happy to help me and not all irritated with my mistake (that caused a little back-up). He noted that I technically needed to bring my own box/bag for this particular item, but since I was so clearly unaware of that, he kindly boxed it for me for free. Also, this place is spick and span and provides random office items that come in use. I've snagged some tape and packaging here a few times. this review has more to do with Am az on new return policy involving drop offs. U used to get free ups pickups for product returns now its $8 fee. And ups will take your money & never pick up anything. This wouldn't be a necessity if they weren't selling items like used clothes as new & refurbished fire tablets as new (just 1 example).This has become regular business practice . This is my go to UPS store in downtown Milwaukee! The location is very ideal with feasible street parking close by to quickly run in and out of the store. I use this location most often for my printing needs and amazon returns. Their website allows me to "print on demand" by uploading files, see the cost, pay, and then pick up in store--which I love as someone who doesn't have a printer at home! I love this UPS store. I sell clothes online sometimes and some packagers go through the USPS and some through UPS. I definitely prefer UPS. The staff there is extremely friendly and helpful and the wait is nothing like the post office. I wish Yelp had 6 Stars because I would give it to this UPS store. I do a lot of shipping because of investment properties we have. They have always taken such good care of me providing friendly customer service and helping me figure out the best way to ship my boxes. However, today they went above and beyond to help me! I was missing a package and they spent the day trying to help me find it (the package was actually elsewhere and never went through them) but Aaron worked diligently to help me back-track to make sure that we could find it. I always go this specific UPS Store even though I am closer to others because of the customer service they provide BUT today they went above and beyond! One of the things I love most about them is when I take my items in for shipping, they pack it so carefully, and nothing ever arrives broken or damaged. I literally walk in with all of my items in bags and they take the bags and take all the stress out of shipping by packing and sending it the locations I need them to go. Even though they advertise that they close at 6:30, don't show up at 6:27. The door will be closed and the staff will not even come to the door to talk to you. They gesture by simulating slicing their necks as if that's appropriate communication. Don't call to speak to a manager about it, that's futile as well. They will say that the POS was shut down at 6:30, without admitting that they closed the door first and then shut down the POS. We all have digital watches now called cellular phones. In other words, we are all in sync time-wise now. I was unable to return an item to Amazon because it was the last day, and I was hung up at work. I shot over there as fast as I could and knew that I had made it. I can tell time. I will never use this location again, and have reported it to Amazon. It's just rude to not at least come to the door and speak with me directly. I would have had more respect for the process if they had. read more

The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. I came in with two large boxes yesterday and one was not quite ready to be shipped. To my surprise a staff member came over to help me, volunteered to add the shipping label, and would have even taped the box shut for me. It is so refreshing to find this kind of customer service and without being charged extra for it. This location is convenient since parking is plentiful and my visits are always quick/easy. I just went to mail a package at UPS and the chick at the counter ask me "what's in it?" Not, is is anything liquid or perishable, etc," or even "what's the value you want to claim," but what's in it. I was so shocked I didn't know how to respond. WTH does it matter what's in it? You don't need to go all the way to Oak Creek to send a package. There is probably a UPS store near you. At this particular one, the staff is friendly. You can send any package. They will even pack it up for you. You may slightly overpay for packaging, but that will be the same at any pack and ship store. read more

My experience here is usually pretty straightforward and simple- drop off package with package slip, watch employee tape up package, thank them for their help and leave. Sounds simple enough right? Right. So why only 3 stars? Well picture this- an adult trying to push a stroller with a baby in it through the front door. There are 3 maybe 4 employees watching as said adult is struggling to get the door open and maneuver the stroller through. None of the employees made a move to help said adult. I would say that's not great customer service. To be fair, I have never had any poor experiences with them up to this point and I haven't any issues with my packages not getting to where they're supposed to be, so 3 stars it is. read more

I admit I was 100% skeptical that a UPS store would be able to ship my parents' beloved art and Asian furniture to me in California. My parents are downsizing and we are acquiring a 9' x 12' rug, as well as fine art that has been in the family for decades. I couldn't get a moving company to move my things because I needed a 1000 pound minimum. I googled around and found this UPS store that claims to ship the majority of art in Milwaukee, including for the Milwaukee Art Museum. Erran, the manager, was excellent. He found a freight company to get me all of my things. When the freight company messed up, he was 100% on my side. Normally a freight company doesn't ship to consumers and so they don't really care about customer service. Erran made sure that they fixed their mistake (they temporarily lost the rug!) The packing that they did so that my things wouldn't be broken in transit was fantastic. The art arrived unscathed. In short, they are creative and competent, and if I ever need to ship cross country from my parents' house in Milwaukee again I wouldn't hesitate to call them. read more

We've had a mailbox here off and on the last couple years while traveling out of town. It's handy to have a place that accepts FedEX, UPS, and USPS at one box. They'll forward the mail along for a fee. This place also does packing and shipping which I've used once or twice. Their service is OK. Their fees are a bit high. I've had both better and worse service from similar places in other cities. If you need this sort of thing, they're one of the few options here in Milwaukee. I'd use them again. read more

You can use this place to make photostatic copies, drop off something to be packed and shipped, rent a mailbox, or redirect UPS deliveries. This last part is useful for any of you who, like me, live in a neighborhood where UPS won't ring the doorbell, or if you are at work during regular work hours and someone has sent you a package requiring a signature. This place has long hours, a private parking lot next to a coffee shop, with quick competent workers. And, you can open your package here so all those annoying Styrofoam packing peanuts not only end up on someone else's floor, you can have them recycle them for you (sytrofoam isn't actually recyclable in the real sense, but they can reuse any packing material when they pack up stuff to send). read more

He gets me solid quotes never complains about dimensions or weights (although he is happy to advise), they can package and fully insure, the follow thru is exceptional and on larger pieces they pick up at my studio! At least one person on the staff here is fantastic. I brought in an open package that I needed to send back to the seller. I also brought in a thumb drive with a PDF of the return authorization and UPS shipping label. She printed the two pages for me for free and told me she would take care of taping up my box. The staff person also un-aggressively offered to sell me a box. (I declined.) I was impressed with the entire encounter compared to experiences I've had at other UPS stores (e.g., I've been asked to pay for the box to be taped). The other times I've been in here I already had a shipping label printed and box ready to be shipped. My interactions with the staff have been quick and easy. read more
