Perhaps they are new, but they don't even know the basics about helping people who've been waiting in line the longest. I was so out of my comfort zone when I went inside to make copies & send faxes. I had no idea how to accomplish this task & was feeling somewhat anxious. Another patron sled if she was able to offer assistance but found we were both stumped with the process of choosing correct settings to fax the items. I asked the female counter person to assist & she was very helpful, providing step by step guidance. The atmosphere is very business and it gets crowded but everyone was very pleasant & patient although everything moves rather quickly. I would most definitely recommend this business for anyone that would like to use business services at all. read more

I was looking to pick up a copy of TurboTax, so I decided to stop in at Staples. Tom immediately came over to me and asked if needed any help. I explained what I was looking and Tom actually had a variety of Turbo Tax packages. I went with the Premium, which covered all home needs. It was also not too expensive. Checking out was easy, Tom quickly rang me up. The store also has lots of goods including school supplies, work supplies, tablets and computers. They even had cards and sticks available for subscription services like Amazon Prime. The store was pretty crowded when I came in, even though it was the middle of the afternoon. This location is located right outside the Bryn Mawr Shopping Center, but Staples has complimentary parking spots in the lot. Altogether, this Staples has great staff and merchandise! A pretty good Staples. Their staff is really helpful and friendly. They have the standard office and school supplies and such, although their selection is sometimes limited, based on what you're looking for. I bought a laptop here a few years ago and got a great sale, so keep an eye on sales! This location is within easy walking distance of SEPTA regional rail. While parked in the Staples parking lot, before getting out of the car to shop in the store...a staples shopping cart hit my car. It dented and scratched the bumper and dented a door. I immediately reported it to the store manager who told me: they had a video of the parking lot but would not show it to me and their insurance company would contact me but he could not tell me who they were or give me their contact info. I filed a report with Staples and a police report. I was there for about 1 hour between the time the cart hit my car and anyone from Staples even came out to the lot to retrieve any carts and that person only came out after I commented that noone had been out. A few days later, someone from staples called and told me that they are not responsible for the damage done because it was "an act of G-d" that caused the cart to hit my car but they also told me that they do not have cameras in the parking lot. (So how would they know?) That quick trip to Staples caused over $5,000 in damage to my car. BEWARE. I will never return to Staples. read more

I drop in to this Staples every once in a while and their associates and management are almost always very helpful, and something not often found on the mainline, "friendly!" Recently we experienced trouble with our printer which we purchased at the store. Considering how far back the purchase was made I should have been dealing with the manufacturer directly. After a quick phone call the manager took ownership of our problem and had a replacement printer waiting for us in 20 minutes. Much appreciated! read more

The staff at the Cooy/Printing Center at Staples in Bryn Mawr was awesome in helping me get everything together for my father's funeral this week. From making the posters for the service to helping me with the programs (copying and folding them after watching me attempt to do it in the self service area) helped make the preparation so much easier. I was surprised that shopping here was actually pretty easy. I got my Brother labelmaker for half off $40 and the people working here are really friendly. Plus, they have pink, purple and other colored pens in the front. Yay! read more

The ABSOLUTE worst customer service. I bought a computer, paid for an installer. No problem. The installer told me a few people had issues with this pc, and if I did to call the store and someone would come out to look at it and give me a new one if necessary. It runs incredibly slow, like the installer said it might. The store manager now tells me I need to pay $50 for someone to come out, get it, and return it to me with set up. What happened to their promise? And, why are they even selling computers with known issues? read more

Yesterday was the first time I went into Staples since I'm new in town and have not had good luck at other Staples. Kim, in the Print department is a gem. She was courteous and had great ideas to help me with my project. She told me all the price options and saved me quite a bit. I will definitely go there again. read more

Pros: The selection is generally very good and not particularly overpriced. Unfortunately, I can only think of one pro. Con: Employees are apathetic at best and unknowledgeable. During my visit, I went to play around with a tablet I'd been looking at and asked an employee if he could explain the differences between three models from the same brand. His immediate answer was "size". Come on, given that very few people actually buy expensive electronics at Staples, you'd think this guy would at least tell me he'd ask someone or look it up. Instead, his explanation was something to the effect of "Yeah... the difference is size and chip." By the way, he did not know what two of the chips even were. He made no attempt to find answers to my questions. Jeez. I asked a second employee whether or not they had lead of a particular size. She (the only nice or helpful employee I encountered) referred me to another employee who shrugged and said, "I don't know. Try the internet." Seriously? I get when people have bad days or really don't know the answer but the completely apathetic approach really was a turn-off and honestly, inexcusable and rude. I do try to be generous when evaluating stores and people (there are always off days) but this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had at a store! Summary: Go in with the product you want in mind but do your own research and don't expect employees to help you with anything more than directions to appropriate aisles. read more

Just stopped by to drop an Amazon return package off with a label I printed at home in hand. Come to find out, they wanted to charge me $1 per strip of tape to affix the shipping label. We all have a right to make money, but c'mon this is a pretty ridiculous policy! I'll go down the street to Office Depot where a strip of tape is provided out of courtesy and with a smile. read more

I drive out of my way to frequent this Staples despite two other branches closer to me. Bigger selection and really good customer service. Special shoutout to Dave who, rather than pointing me to the printer cartridges wall the other day, took the list and pulled the grab bag of refills we needed himself. Nicest guy. read more
