He tells me he wants me to grind three large stones into bird baths and deliver them to him on site at the place of business. I arrived two days later with the three large stones that I carved. One of them being the aquamarine one that I bought from them for $55 plus tax. The owner's wife tells me that there must have been a miscommunication because they don't want my bird baths. What!!! I had carved them beautifully and I delivered them They weigh approximately 400 to 500 lb.. I asked her what was going on-I was explicitly told that the owner wanted three of my bird baths.. obviously there's no communication between the husband and wife.. I had supplied many bird baths last year and the husband said we sold them all-The owner's wife tells me we had trouble selling them we still have some hanging around here.. yeah I didn't see any anywhere. The outside of the nursery was mildly intriguing but a lot of plants and the set up definitely had the "out of season" vibe. We saw some Venus Flytraps outside that were cool and some pretty red flower plants. But going inside is where we saw a lot of exotic and impressive looking plants. There were more carnivorous plants that definitely were more unusual looking than the Venus Flytraps. There were other plants that were great looking like the little plant with spikes in the middle of the leaves. I deemed it to myself a "punk rock " plant. There were some beautiful red and purple leafed plants inside as well. We didn't purchase anything for the reason being that we aren't very good with keeping plants alive to begin with. Steve more so than me so we would need something very low maintenance. And we could have asked for such a thing and perhaps we will when we come back again but this first visit was definitely a visit based out of curiosity.

Apparently I had used incandescent lightbulbs and they often don't make full contact in this type of lamp. So I was charged nothing for the time it took Brass Candle to determine the problem. I was very impressed. The shop keeper could have just kept my lamp for a week or so and charged me to fix a lamp that wasn't even broken. Kudos to Brass Candle for being honest.

Ordered 20 Aborvitae trees to use as a screen from neighbors. Delivery was on time. Price was very…read moregood. The quality of the trees are average, at best. Most were wrapped in multiple layers of burlap, meaning they have been dug up multiple times. The dirt around the roots was hard as a rock. One tree most likely won't make it. There is zero guarantee on the trees if u plant them yourself, however, the owner was willing to discount a replacement. Make sure you thoroughly inspect every plant and tree upon delivery and reject the questionable ones. Buyer beware.
