If you like cute décor or you're looking for a gift, this is a good option to look at! This is, of course, a plant shop, of which they have a large selection with many variety, though the prices I saw were steep in comparison with other plant shops in the general area. They had almost all the plants I'm currently looking for on my list, but the specimens were either in poor condition and/or more expensive than other shops.

I showed her photos of the spaces and we grabbed carts and she gave us easy choices and loaded us up! We bought 26 plants in about 15 minutes. It's a great Nursery with so many kinds of flowers and trees to look at and see what would work best for your home. In the end we purchased some flowers and they look so good in the backyard! A much needed splash of color to have back there which we needed. We will look into the trees at a later time for sure as we have been wanting a Japanese Maple tree and they had the kind that we liked. I took a detour to Vassey's after taking a friend to another nursery that is known for their vast…read moreselection of plants and gift shop. Vassey Nursery was such an unexpected surprise! A word of warning, Google Maps might send you to the wrong driveway across railroad tracks (as it did us) . This must happen A LOT because there was a sign or two stating that it was private property and to not drive any further! We backtracked over the railroad tracks, started driving parallel to the tracks on the main road and the correct directions kicked in. We went with it, and glad we did! Helpful staff, a nice selection of common plants as well as ones that are not so well known, or varieties lesser known. In the heat that we've had this summer I was very impressed that the plants did not seem at all stressed from lack of water or sunburn--like the previous nursery we'd just come from, not to mention my own garden! Not easy to do, so wanted to note their obvious care of plants. Nurseries have become quite pricey but felt this was reasonably priced and in comparison to Watson's, a very good deal! I bought a few things, having only wanted to get some ideas for fall planting. I couldn't resist! I most definitely will be back.

We got a massive tree at a very reasonable price. Customer service was excellent and it had the same smell as the hardware store I used to go to for popcorn when I was a kid. The only down side, and it isn't much of one, is I wish they trimmed the tree when you bought it. When we got home we had to do a little snipping in our apartment to take care of stray branches. It is now, looking amazing and probably one of the best trees I have ever gotten . Thanks wilco!

I've come to this place maybe a dozen times over the past five years, every single time I walk in…read moreand I could be in the best mood ever and when I leave, I'm so damn angry. They are slow. Slow slow, slow, slow slow. When you have seven customers standing in the line, open another check. When you've got two lines with seven people in each line, open another check out. I've asked for help from employees, either get blank stares or completely opposite information of what I need. I have even been mocked for not knowing technical terms by their staff in electrical. I keep coming back and I don't know why. If you're only picking up one item, and have 30 minutes to stand in lines waiting for other people to get their crap together, then McLennans hardware is for you. As for me, I will take the extra 10 minutes instead of standing in line and drive to Home Depot or Lowe's.

I couldn't find the bulb I needed and couldn't find anyone to help so I walked back to the cashier area to ask for help. There was a big African American man standing there so I asked him how I could get some help. He just stared at me. I guess he thought I would just move on. I didn't. Finally he said " With what " in a sarcastic tone. I told him then walked back to the bulbs. He didn't respond to me at all. Luckily I received help from both a lady and a man who were awesome. I don't know who hired the security guard but he in no way should be communicating with the public. We definitely won't be going back to this store unless we don't have time to go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Wow
