Once the repair part arrived it was installed and the dishwasher still didn't work. The tech told me that this part has a habit of dying and being un-fixable and that he was submitting the claim to Landmark for a new dishwasher. That was 2 weeks ago. Landmark states that I don't need a new washer and that they ordered the wrong part (apparently, at least that's what I was told) and now my new partS (yes, that's plural, one part has turned into multiple parts) are on order... I've been with out a dishwasher for four weeks because this company and Landmark Home Warranty can't communicate or get their stories straight.

Lourie was extremely knowledgeable and, upon answering a few of her questions, we came to the conclusion that the repair would cost more than replacing the washer itself. It's increasingly rare to find a company that is willing to put customer service ahead of profit and help someone avoid throwing good money after bad. When she got here, she took a look, found the problem right away, put in a temporary fix so the machine would work for me, and said she would get the part it needed ordered and meet me back here after our trip. Her quote was very affordable. I was so happy that she was willing to just swing by and help me out so that I could get back to the pre-packing laundry that was so needed. I don't feel like most people these days are willing to just help a stranger out like she did, especially after business hours, but she was great!

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Avoid at All Costs…read more I had a terrible experience with Utah Appliance Rental and would never recommend them to anyone. It took them two full weeks just to get back to me after I inquired about renting a washer and dryer. Then out of nowhere, I received a random text asking if I was still interested--no apology, no explanation. We scheduled a delivery, which was then rescheduled because of the stairs in my townhome. That part was understandable. They said they'd come on another day when someone named Liston had help from his 15-year-old brother--which already seemed unprofessional. When they finally showed up, they dropped the washer in my hallway--right against an interior wall where my TV was mounted on the other side. The impact caused my TV to fall and break completely. I immediately asked for their insurance information, only to be told they don't have any coverage. When I requested they cover the cost of the damage they caused, they refused. In the end, they didn't even leave the washer and dryer--so they came into my home, broke my property, refused accountability, and left me with nothing. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. They are careless, uninsured, and take no responsibility for the damage they cause. This is the kind of business that gives Utah service providers a bad name.
