Instead, I was handed off to a completely different therapist that I never booked with. The massage itself was incredibly aggressive, uncomfortable, and felt extremely rushed. Very little oil was used, and I ended up with friction burns and red marks across my back from how rough it was. I came in with mild lower-back pain and left barely able to bend over or move comfortably. My back feels substantially worse now than before the appointment. What upset me most was the response afterward. When I told them that my back was much worse and that I was struggling to move, I was met with a blank stare and told, "She's been doing this for 25 years," as if that somehow addressed the issue. As I was visibly in pain and wheezing, the only follow-up I received was, "Okay, thank you, you're all set, bye." For a premium-priced service, there was zero concern for the customer experience, no attempt to make things right, and no acknowledgment that something may have gone wrong. I'm now out $175 and honestly feel like I would have received a better massage at half the price somewhere else. I also have serious doubts about the online ratings. The business shows a near-perfect score, yet there are numerous negative experiences that don't seem to be reflected in that rating. Misleading advertising, a bait-and-switch therapist, poor customer service, and a painful massage that left me worse off than when I arrived. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Within minutes, I was wincing in pain and told her multiple times that it was too much. I also explained that I get migraines and prefer a gentler, more relaxing massage that focuses on my problem areas. Rather than listening to what I was asking for, she continued with an aggressive deep tissue massage over my entire body. She never once touched my neck or head as I requested, she focused entirely on my arms and shoulder blades. Instead of adjusting her technique, she told me I had so much tension that I needed to schedule at least 2 or 3 two-hour deep tissue massage. By the end of the session, she even instructed me to ice my body afterward because of how intense the massage had been. The gal kept leaving during the massage for my son's gf (the one that was delayed) and then she was talking on her phone during her massage. She was finished at the same time as the rest of us which she should have gone at least 10 minutes longer. After hearing that her massage person kept leaving during her massage she should have more time added.
