This vape shop is decent. It's not my first choice of vapor shops but I stop in every so often because of the convenient location. I usually go in for coils or a replacement tank if mine cracks. Their prices are comparable to other vape shops, sometimes they are more expensive. They have a battery I've been eyeing for some time that's $54 there but only $39 elsewhere. There is one girl, who's name I forgot, that I've seen between the Meriden and Bristol shops (black hair and I think a nose ring) . She has always been very helpful. Tonight, however, I went in because my ecig wasn't charging. It would light up on the charger but the light on the charger stayed green (indicating it' s fully charged) but the light on my ecig was orange (indicating it's dead). I had already tried 2 different chargers with 2 different wall pieces in multiple outlets. Nothing worked. When I went in for help, the girl (a different girl than above) said it must be the charger. She tried it there in the store and told me the charger was red (charging) where she tried it behind the counter... I'm not going to say she lied, because I didn't see if it was red or not. I took her word, bought the new charger (despite having JUST purchased a new charger from them less than a week ago) and went home. When I tried it, same exact thing as before happened. My battery will not charge. I take responsibility for my error here. I could have tested it myself in the store, or gone back to return, but I live 25m from this location and didn't want to drive all the way back. I only wish she would have told me my battery was, what I presume is dead. I would have purchased a new battery and been happily on my way instead of being miserable with a useless battery when every vape shop is now closed. Now I have to wait to go back to figure out what sorcery she did to make it work in the store yet not for me. Besides tonight's issue, this store is pretty ok. They sell coils individually which is cool. I personally do not like any of their fluids, they all have a weird underlying taste. I can't put my finger on it.. But it's a very artificial flavor. I have friends who love their flavors though. TLDR: All in all, three stars. Decent prices, liquid flavors seem to be liked by many but disliked by many as well. Don't trust their troubleshooting completely. Test in store, before purchasing, as I should have done. read more

This spot used to be my go to, but apparently they've decided to price gouge accessories like refillable pods, because Connecticut laws made it more difficult for consumers to shop online. I payed double for some caliburn A2 pods. They sell online for 10 bucks, but Vapor Edge is charging 22.00. When I brought this to the gentleman behind the counters attention he said, "You can't get them online anymore". Well actually you can, it will just take longer, because carriers like USPS, Fed-Ex, and UPS, will no longer fulfill online orders for vape accessories. That being said, their are other carriers that will fulfill the orders, so to say I can't get them online anymore is false. I actually got a delivery a month ago. Let's just call it what it is, Vapor Edge is capitalizing on an inconvenience. I could see maybe adding a few bucks onto the price but doubling it is borderline predatory. I'll be looking into other local shops, or keeping my business online. Rather wait a little longer opposed to being ripped off. read more

First of all, as the name implies, VE is for vapers, not some dirty smoke shop that's desperately trying to catch the crest of the newest wave in nicotine delivery. These guys know their vaping. They have a house line of juices at very reasonable rates, plus additional lines of juices for the more exotic seeker of flavors. One thing I've never seen before, though that doesn't necessarily mean that this is the only vape shop that does this: pre-built, homemade coils for your drippers, made from all sorts of different wires... clapton, twisted, other crazy setups... perfect for the lazy cloud chaser. Also, I had a small issue with my mod/tank and they fixed it for me for free. Obviously I owed them (and continue to owe them) some business for that nice gesture. I'll be back. read more

If you're new to vaping, don't go here. Actually if you're seasoned, you also should probably not go here. Horrible non existent customer service. Overpriced hardware. I walked in and explained that I needed help because I was new to vaping. One of the employees (who didn't introduce himself) told me the prices of 2 items I asked about. That was it. Another employee (who also didn't introduce himself) cut into the conversation to just tell me I was wrong about something before going back to doing what he was already doing. The piece I asked about was 50% more expensive than online. The juice was priced OK but given the way that place looks and how the employees act (there were 3, I dealt with 2 basically) I would never return. read more

I will never shop here again. Buying the equipment was no problem but the customer service after is horrific. I bought two large bottles of fluid. They started leaking so I tightened them tighter. Then they wouldn't open. I went back. They gave me a hard time about replacing them but did so. The new bottles leaked all over and emptied most of them selves out. Thank god I had them in a zip lock bag and they didn't ruin all my clothes in my suitcase. I went back to exchange them and the kid was a total jerk. Basically didn't give a crap. Told me well you bought them like 3 weeks ago so there's nothing can do and we don't do returns or exchanges. Of course I was steaming and told him they are both basically full. He could talk they were based on the amount of fluid in the bag. Defective bottles are defective bottles. Weather they are 6 minutes old or 6 years old. Never again!! read more

Unhelpful and rude! Sold me defective oils, which luckily didn't ruin my clothes, and then refused to replace them with an attitude. I will never shop here again. Poor merchandise and even worse customer service. read more

I was told the Joyetech Penguin was under warranty for a year but the instructions inside the box said 90 days, then it stopped working after 5 weeks. Vapor Edge told me to contact the company who will not respond at all and just tells you to go to the store you bought it from. Wow that was a waste of a lot of money. What a scam. read more

My last few visits to the Meriden store have been very positive. Staff member Aedan has been very helpful in getting me and my vape back on course and doesn't treat me like an idiot because I appear to be challenged with the mechanical aspects of my vape.
