Making a reservation is super easy, and usually you can find tons of appointments if you book at least a couple of days in advance. 1st first customer. Quality is average, have had better fades elsewhere. Barber gets shown an old pic of myself and proceeded with his own vision i/o my requests & inputs. Customer service is shit, barber talks on the phone while fading, walks away and leaves you at the chair in the middle of the cut, opens a delivered package by the door, then gets back into grabbing your head, no communication on the progress. If you don't care about these things, get your fade elsewhere since rate isn't the cheapest. read more

Terrible location. This is not a Barbershop, this is a Salon. I've been having my hair cut for a year with my family and even the barbers you are regulars with do not know who you are. I have had a dozen instances of them being behind but if you come 4 minutes late expect to have your appointment cancelled. Also the receptionist will suggest she texted and emailed which is just a bold face lie. Not a personal feel. This couldn't be farther from a barbershop vibe. Terrible customer service and a terrible attitude from receptionist. Do yourself a favor and find a real barbershop before you waste your time at this commercial salon. I've been a regular of Mary for a while and have always tipped well. You can hand pick your barber and pick a time they have available. I choose the the owner, Jose, and I must say I won't be going anywhere else for a cut. Not the closest shop and im not picky so I normally don't make the trek to varon. Went once or twice right after they opened to help support Javier at the new shop. My son wanted a nice fade so we made the trek where I knew the barbers where on point. But they surpassed my expectations, I feel like most shops just try to get you in and out of the seat. I have been going to Varón for about six months now and really like it. First and foremost, you need to schedule your appointment online. They do take walk-ins but its much smoother to schedule with your phone. The shop is clean and spacious. There is ample parking. If you come around lunch time, keep in mind that there are about four places to eat in the same little strip mall. It can get busy and people drive like idiots in this little lot. They are fairly hip and play rap, so you rednecks might have to wear earbuds if you come here. I have had several barbers cut my hair but Reuben really stood out.
