Well, don't assume that this place is as good as the review stars indicate. Went in with an older gentleman to get a cut and as soon as we walked in the lady looked at us as if we were carrying the plague. The attitude and rudeness of this woman was neither welcomed nor deserved. I was planning to treat my friend to a fresh cut but instead we were treated as unwanted patrons. Even though there was another woman who was not cutting hair, we were dismissed.. Probably because of our brown skin. Karen vibes are real at this place. Would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Just had my third cut at Fritz's Barbershop and it's been a great experience each time. I've been to several barbershops in the valley and have felt at some like my being there for a cut is almost like an annoyance to the people working there and/or they are too busy for me. At Fritz's I've felt very welcome each time and cared for. It has a family feel. And I'm a practical thinker so to me even more important than how they make me feel is the cost and cut. They are fairly close to where I live and the previous owner, Jerry, did a great job. Gave them 3 tries. Their negative attitudes and sub par talents have convinced me to go elsewhere. The absolute best barber shop in Phoenix metro area, you will be in right place with any of the barbers, I know Daniel, Adam, and kerstine personally and they are first class people. I have know these barbers for years and all 3 of them cut my hair, I have extremely curly hair and it is extremely hard to cut, but they take the extra time always make sure my hair is perfect. When I walk in I feel like family, and not only that you know your money is going directly to your local economy because they are family owned and not a chain. I don't Ever right reviews but this place is first class all the way. I Refuse to go anywhere else because I will not receive the customer they offer.
