Baltimore is coming in hot with the food towers. So I had to try the taco tower here at La Food Marketa. (Similar to the Italian one I had last time I was In Maryland at Franks) I called ahead and asked if they serve it everyday or if they need a heads up (some places do) but this place said, nope. They serve it all the time and don't need a heads up. So that's a plus. This place also does take reservations. I did make one since it was my first time here and didn't know how crowded it gets. Online it does say they are recommended, but not required. It was busy at 6:30 on a Saturday They are located in a private parking lot with a few other places. They do have a very nice outdoor seating area, and it does say online they are dog friendly. We did pick to sit inside. We got sat at a bigger table once they found out we were getting the taco tower Mackenzie, was taking care of us, she was absolutely amazing. It was really packed, and yet Makenzie still refilled our waters and brought out more chips and salsa (warning, rookie mistake. The bakery itself is tucked away in a Pikesville neighborhood in an obscure neighborhood that was really nice place to travel through, but I digress... The staff was pleasant enough. Now the bread: I received two huge loaves of sourdough that were so much so that I had to give one away. The bread had a nice crusty exterior with chewy bite that a good sourdough should have. It was only one other customer in the bakery at the time. When deciding which cupcakes to choose from there was no clear offering from the staff to assist with making a better selection. The selection was fairly limited so I just ordered 4 cupcakes (strawberry & sweet potato) to eat at home. The cupcakes were moist and delicious.
