I literally came here right after I landed at BWI. As soon as I touched down I told my dad to floor it to La food Marketa So, I've noticed a huge trend. Baltimore is coming in hot with the food towers. So I had to try the taco tower here at La Food Marketa. (Similar to the Italian one I had last time I was In Maryland at Franks) I called ahead and asked if they serve it everyday or if they need a heads up (some places do) but this place said, nope. They serve it all the time and don't need a heads up. So that's a plus. This place also does take reservations. I did make one since it was my first time here and didn't know how crowded it gets. Online it does say they are recommended, but not required. It was busy at 6:30 on a Saturday They are located in a private parking lot with a few other places. They do have a very nice outdoor seating area, and it does say online they are dog friendly. We did pick to sit inside. We got sat at a bigger table once they found out we were getting the taco tower Mackenzie, was taking care of us, she was absolutely amazing. It was really packed, and yet Makenzie still refilled our waters and brought out more chips and salsa (warning, rookie mistake. We filled up on chips and salsa before the taco tower came out) The chips were delicious. They were so crispy and fresh. Also, loved their salsa. Now for the taco tower details. It feeds 4-6- and it was just my dad and I And it comes with- CHOICE OF ANY 3 TACOS- (4 of each taco and they had a good amount to pick from) CHIPS & QUESO LAYERED TACO DIP STREET CORN PAN DE QUESO BUFFALO CHICKEN TAQUITOS RICE & BEANS This food tower will run you 125 dollars We also asked if instead of picking 3 different tacos if we could double the birria tacos. Which we were able to and then we got a hard shell taco with short rib Mackenzie was great at making suggestions. She mentioned that their -BROCCOLI BIRRIA TACOS which were, cheesy corn tortillas, broccoli, onion, cilantro, smoky vegetable broth. Were really popular. (Which is great if you're vegetarian) (You can also add a pitcher of margaritas for a good deal) I knew I wanted the taco tower, but this place has a good sized menu to please anyone, tons of cocktails(even mocktails) and Their dessert menu is also pretty big. (Also a good amount of salads here if you're trying to be good / diet restrictions) I did end up having a couple mojitos since it was a cheat day. The only hiccup was, my dad ordered a black cherry mojito and they brought out a blackberry one by accident. They actually let us keep the blackberry one as well no charge. So they were great at fixing the issue. The whole wait staff here was great. The new drink my dad originally ordered came out extremely fast. (I didn't get the name of the server who took our drink order and brought them out. But she was really nice as well Here, at La food marketa, their food was actually as good as it looked. I highly recommend their taco tower and ask for Makenzie

The food here is consistently good. Recently had the pork belly poke bowl- pork was crispy and delicious. The shrimp with garlic sauce was even better- we could have drank that sauce. The variety of drinks is also great. We sat in a booth in the bar and service was good from the bartender. The restaurant itself is nice. Would definitely like to come back for that taco tower!

Went here for a retirement lunch for my colleague. I have always wanted to try this place since I have heard so many good things. The server never told us our name but he was attentive. I ordered the confetti bowl since it was Ash Wednesday and observing. It was good. My only complaint is the black beans were too crispy. I personally like mine on the softer side. Also, add more black beans and less rice. The rice filled me up quickly. My colleagues enjoyed their meals. Would love to come back when its a non- work related event. We also were able yo bring our own desserts and our server was kind enough to give us a box for the extra desserts.

We came to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. I have been here once before and I don't know why I haven't been back more often. The food is fresh, exciting and so dag gone delicious. The staff is personable and gracious and it feels like family here. I do not eat meat and there are so many options for me. OMG nothing but great things to say. Grab a friend or two and rush on over. The music, the vibe, the lighting are so FUN FUN FUN. Our server Alden was da bomb!!!!!

I really really really love this place! The steak street tacos are some of the best around. Smooth and tender steak with corn tortillas, diced onion, cilantro and lime. Muy Rico! Excellent guacamole and delicious cocktails. Service here is always great - positive attitudes and attentive. Cute decor and plenty of seating, free parking and a nice bar area.

Figured it was time for an updated review. Came here with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday. He had his heart set on the taco tower and the birthday boy gets what he wants. For our taco selection, we went with a double order of the short rib tacos and an order of birria tacos. The tower says it feeds 2-4, but there were 5 of us and we still had tons of leftovers. To be fair, we may have gone a little too hard on the chips and queso while we waited. Everything on the tower was phenomenal, except the buffalo chicken taquitos as they were a bit dry. But the house-made hot sauce totally saved them. Service was awesome as always. This place is still one of my favorite spots and the meal had me even more excited to have Hoopla cater my wedding. :-)

Friendly hostess and very colorful/fun environment. Our server was kind and attentive. My guest enjoyed their meal so much it was devoured in 15 minutes! I would love to return and check out their HH (if they have one) and to give the shrimp fajitas another chance as mine was a smidge overcooked but enjoyable visit altogether

This place was really nice. Went on taco Tuesday so of courts is was packed. Service was a tad slow but the food was really good. Also the waiters were very nice and accommodating. We had a reserve for 5 however it took 25 minutes after 5 to be seated. I ordered beef tacos and they were bomb. It came with rice and some sauce that was also very good. Drinks were soso but the price of everything on taco Tuesday was very nice. I would try this again on a day that is not Tuesday.

We Sat outside on a nice Sat night. Service was attentive and friendly. We were big fans of the traditional margarita with espolon tequila. We are light . Chips, salsa and guac. The calamari came out crispy with peppers on top and 2 dipping sauces. Chimichuri and smoky aoli. Nice app. The shrimp and garlic app is hard to explain. 5 large shrimp in a cream sauce with chunks of bread submerged. Not bad, just not what we expected. Tacos looked good walking by. Next time for dinner.

Had a good time yesterday with fellow Yelpers for Taco Tuesday. Was my first time, but it won't be my last! A few of us sat at the bar initially. We were able to partake in happy hour right before it ended at 7. I got a traditional frozen margarita. It was good. We were offered chips and salsa by Whitney who was great! The salsa looked like ketchup but actually tasted better than it looked. We had a reservation but it took awhile to get us all seated. The place was packed! Our server, Mike was great - very attentive and helpful. The "smokey spicy figgy" cocktail was really good. It has mezcal and I appreciate that smokey taste. All of us ordered tacos. Since it was Taco Tuesday, all taco entrees were $15. I opted for the birria tacos which comes with pork but I asked to sub it for beef, and they obliged. I thought it was just ok. It was bland I heard they gave a good brunch. I'll be back soon.

Mexican fusion? Count me in!! Love this spot. Upbeat, cool, fun atmosphere. Can do the chefs counter to watch the kitchen, dine outside in their spacious patio area, or hit the bar for an amazing happy hour! They take a really great perspective on traditional Mexican cuisine, they certainly add the fun. Tuna poke Bowl is the biggest highlight for me, so fresh and the flavors pair excellently. Also their queso is chefs kiss. They have something for every pallet, definitely my go to spot when I'm craving a mojito and some tuna. Service is also a highlight, everyone is so attentive and friendly. Can't go wrong, check them out!

This place is great for brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour! The menu features classics with a twist as well as some more eclectic dishes. I've never had a bad meal here! The plantain wings are incredible, as well as the loaded yucca fries. The service is excellent, the drinks are delish, and they have indoor and outdoor patio seating as well. Worth checking out for any meal!

    Alexandra C.

As always, the food here was AMAZING! The buffalo chicken taquitos were incredible and it was my first time trying those. The sauce on the fajitas is incredible. Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. We got seated in the bar because the place was so packed, but it was actually much more quiet than the restaurant part itself! I can't wait to go back.

The menu offers a nice balance between curated bowls and build-your-own options, and everything on display looked vibrant and genuinely fresh. Even the subtle aroma of garlic in the air set the tone in the best way. I don't usually go for chicken (I cook enough of it at home), but being from Hawaii, there was no way I was passing up on their limited-time Huli Huli chicken. For those unfamiliar, traditional Huli Huli chicken is typically bone-in, skin-on, soaked in a brine, marinated with a blend of soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, garlic, and pineapple juice maybe rice vinegar or ketchup, it's all left to the cook. Basted several times as the meat is flipped until fully cooked. Back home, you don't just eat it--you experience it. You smell it long before you see it--grilling on those iconic half oil drum kettles along the roadside, often set up for fundraisers or local gatherings. The sight of chicken quarters being flipped ("huli" means "turn") and basted over open flames is pure island nostalgia. So yes, expectations were high. I was offered a sample, and it delivered. The flavor balance was spot on--savory, slightly sweet, and deeply satisfying. The chicken itself was moist and tender. The only thing missing was that classic crispy, charred skin and the full leg quarter presentation you'd find back home--but even so, it didn't disappoint and left me wanting more. My bowl came together beautifully with coconut sweet potato sauce, fresh spinach, garlicky cilantro green beans, and basmati rice. It was flavorful, well-balanced, and delicious. Service was another highlight--the staff was friendly, patient and helpful with recommendations. The space itself is not large to eat in but it was clean, bright with ocean-toned blues that nod to its island inspiration. I'll definitely be back--especially while that Huli Huli chicken is still on the menu.

Drinks: Baltimore Vice -- strawberry-forward with a Don Q rum float, coconut foam, and freeze-dried strawberries. Light, refreshing, and very easy to drink. Piñata Riot -- a tequila twist on a jungle bird. Slightly bitter, tropical, and well-balanced. Both cocktails were solid and worth ordering again. Food: Green Chili Burger -- while it didn't quite hit true Albuquerque green chile standards, it was still flavorful and satisfying. A strong menu option. Zucchini Brie Pancake -- the standout dish. Unexpectedly balanced between sweet and savory, rich without being too heavy, and something I'd absolutely reorder. Overall: Great first impression. The menu has a lot of variety, the cocktails are creative and well-executed, and it feels like one of those places you could keep coming back to and try something new every time. Would I go back? We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Caesar salad, Hangover Burger, bacon egg and cheese biscuit, Elvis pancakes, and a quesadilla--and overall, the experience was a solid 4/5. The Caesar salad stood out with its fresh ingredients and what tasted like homemade croutons. The Hangover Burger was cooked perfectly to order and packed with flavor, though the garlic fries it comes with are very garlicky--something to keep in mind if you prefer a milder side (you may want to request plain fries). The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was simple but delicious, while the Elvis pancakes--topped with bacon and peanut butter--were a standout and a must-try if you're feeling indulgent. The quesadilla was also very good, paired with an impressively flavorful broth that elevated the dish. To top it off, the iced coffee was bold and strong, but still smooth and refreshing. One thing to note: street parking is limited in the area, so plan accordingly when visiting. Overall, Golden Key West offers great food, solid portions, and a cool atmosphere that's definitely worth checking out.
