    Almond croissant (undercooked)
    Shay F.

We stopped in on a Friday morning. Its a cute space with a clean environment and ample tables for seating. We tried the cinnamon role, almond croissant and passion fruit smoothie. 1. The cinnamon role was good. Soft enough, not too sweet and a great size 2. The passion fruit smoothie was good as well and it tasted fresh 3. The almond croissant was disgusting and under-cooked. My husband open it up and was met with a slimy and doughy center. We put it in the air fryer to bake it however, we could not salvage it. (See pic) I enjoyed 2 of 3 items but since a croissant should be a staple item at a french bakery, I would be hesitant to try other traditional items there.

Wanted to try a new place, but it was disappointing. The staff have an attitude like they don't want to be there. I got there in the afternoon, and they seemed to not have much as far as pastries. I decided to have a scoop of ice cream pistachio, but it was a very gritty, strange consistency. I couldn't eat it. Definitely recommend that you taste the ice cream before purchasing, maybe it was just the pistachio one.

A quaint little bakery that have delicious deserts and the best sandwich I have had in years a caprese salad with avocado on a croissant

Mille feuilles, chocolate caramel tart and lemon meringue tart. All super delicious!!!

This place just opened recently and we really love what they have! They're completely dairy free so we ordered some pastries for our Friday night dinner and we were not disappointed at all. It's delicious especially for being dairy free! Their challah bread is also super good, it's kind of like brioche. We also ordered some viennoiseries for the morning (croissants, chocolate croissants and pain Suisse) and we were very pleased. It's a little taste of France!

Closed doors after opening hours (supposed to be open at 7am)

Coffee was fine, breads are extraordinary. Plenty of place to sit and socialize. Only negative - sandwiches and other foods way expensive

I'm so glad I was able to stop in for a quick visit today. I didn't take a picture of my cafe con leche, but it was so good! I'm not typically a hot coffee drinker but the barista recommended it with the white chocolate seasonal flavor and wow I was blown away. Both of the ladies working were friendly and helpful answering any questions I have and giving their recommendationsZ The croissant alone will ensure that I return to Cafe Luli. It was not overly sweet but was so delicious and soft. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cookie, but I am not typically a thin and crispy cookie girl. The Alfajores were also a sweet treat, melting in your mouth. The ambiance is very cute. It feels homey and smells so good when you walk in. The prices are comparable to other coffee shops in my opinion. There appears to be an upstairs area but I didn't not explore that area today as I was running around doing errands.

I have been going to their Pikesville location for 4 years. NOT ANYMORE! Let's start with the rude man who is the Host/cashier. He seats folks however he feels like rather than when they came in. Today was the last draw! He sat two women who came in after I did before me. Say what you will but "coincidentally" they were black and so is he! The feckless manager offered no help. This arrogant front man is mishandling his position while the manager retreats to the kitchen. I know several customers who have abandoned the Pikesville location for the Owings Mills facility. I previously wondered why, but not anymore. THE PIKESVILLE FIRST WATCH IS DETERIORATING!

It's so sad to witness. First Watch used to be such a yummy, consistent treat but now... Shrinkflation at its finest. All portion sizes have decreased, and the prices have gone up. There was a good amount of avocado on my toast but the bread they now use is a shell of its former version. The cheese grits were enjoyable and the eggs were fresh. I also believe my mother enjoyed her double bacon Parmesan hash but, overall, the price tag is no longer worth it. The service left a lot to be desired as well. Major sigh.

Baltimore is coming in hot with the food towers. So I had to try the taco tower here at La Food Marketa. (Similar to the Italian one I had last time I was In Maryland at Franks) I called ahead and asked if they serve it everyday or if they need a heads up (some places do) but this place said, nope. They serve it all the time and don't need a heads up. So that's a plus. This place also does take reservations. I did make one since it was my first time here and didn't know how crowded it gets. Online it does say they are recommended, but not required. It was busy at 6:30 on a Saturday They are located in a private parking lot with a few other places. They do have a very nice outdoor seating area, and it does say online they are dog friendly. We did pick to sit inside. We got sat at a bigger table once they found out we were getting the taco tower Mackenzie, was taking care of us, she was absolutely amazing. It was really packed, and yet Makenzie still refilled our waters and brought out more chips and salsa (warning, rookie mistake. We filled up on chips and salsa before the taco tower came out) The chips were delicious. They were so crispy and fresh. Also, loved their salsa. Now for the taco tower details. It feeds 4-6- and it was just my dad and I And it comes with- CHOICE OF ANY 3 TACOS- (4 of each taco and they had a good amount to pick from) CHIPS & QUESO LAYERED TACO DIP STREET CORN PAN DE QUESO BUFFALO CHICKEN TAQUITOS RICE & BEANS This food tower will run you 125 dollars We also asked if instead of picking 3 different tacos if we could double the birria tacos. Which we were able to and then we got a hard shell taco with short rib Mackenzie was great at making suggestions. She mentioned that their -BROCCOLI BIRRIA TACOS which were, cheesy corn tortillas, broccoli, onion, cilantro, smoky vegetable broth. Were really popular. (Which is great if you're vegetarian) (You can also add a pitcher of margaritas for a good deal) I knew I wanted the taco tower, but this place has a good sized menu to please anyone, tons of cocktails(even mocktails) and Their dessert menu is also pretty big. (Also a good amount of salads here if you're trying to be good / diet restrictions) I did end up having a couple mojitos since it was a cheat day. The only hiccup was, my dad ordered a black cherry mojito and they brought out a blackberry one by accident. They actually let us keep the blackberry one as well no charge. So they were great at fixing the issue. The whole wait staff here was great. The new drink my dad originally ordered came out extremely fast. (I didn't get the name of the server who took our drink order and brought them out. But she was really nice as well Here, at La food marketa, their food was actually as good as it looked. I highly recommend their taco tower and ask for Makenzie

All of my food was great and I will definitely be ordering again. I started with the pan fried Chive dumplings, the texture initially threw me off a little as it's a little more doughy than a traditional dumpling but the flavor was amazing! My Kra Prow Moo Grob had the crispiest pork belly, and the sauce was a little spicy and little sweet and the perfect amount of umami. The egg was over fried in my opinion as it was difficult to tear apart, but this was my first time trying this dish and I'm not sure if that's how the egg is traditionally served. The mango sticky rice I ended up saving for another day but reheated very well. The mango was sweet and refreshing and the coconut sauce added a nice creaminess. While I didn't dine in this time I did notice that there is bar seating, traditional sit down space and an outdoor patio. I will be sure to return for my Thai needs and look forward to dining in. It's also worth nothing that currently they have a promotion for 20% off your first online order, so give them a try!
