This little cafe is tucked where you'd least expect it. There's a lot of room with ample space to sit pretty much wherever. I offered a vanilla latte which was ok, the flavor of the coffee wasn't to my liking and the milk was frothy (isn't a latte). We stopped in on a Friday morning. Its a cute space with a clean environment and ample tables for seating. We tried the cinnamon role, almond croissant and passion fruit smoothie. 1. The cinnamon role was good. Soft enough, not too sweet and a great size 2. The passion fruit smoothie was good as well and it tasted fresh 3. The almond croissant was disgusting and under-cooked. My husband open it up and was met with a slimy and doughy center. We put it in the air fryer to bake it however, we could not salvage it. (See pic) I enjoyed 2 of 3 items but since a croissant should be a staple item at a french bakery, I would be hesitant to try other traditional items there. read more

This place looks nice, but it is not. I ordered 2 egg and cheese sandwiches on croissants. They only had one left so I asked what he could put it on instead. He said toast or a baguette, but sounded really unsure. I said toast, he had to ask if they had it. I ordered a mocha latte with almond milk, he said they had chocolate was that ok...I pointed to the menu that clearly stated mocha latte. Also ordered a plain coffee. Since he said they couldn't put the coffees directly into the thermoses I brought, I asked him to tell the barista to leave the caps off as to not waste plastic. My coffees can't or with tops and sleeves, so wasteful. The mocha tasted like they forgot the mocha part. The regular coffee was burnt. The "sandwiches" had no cheese, just egg, and the one on toast was just egg on toast, one piece, not a sandwich. This cost $34 and change, which is completely outrageous. Dunkin' Donuts would have been a better choice, but we chose the cafe thinking the opposite. Don't bother going here! read more

This place is yet another kosher place that serves sub par food, with sub par service, at a premium just because they are kosher. I wouldn't go back to buy anything there, and from here will go look for a cleanse to restore my health from this toxic trash. read more

Wanted to try a new place, but it was disappointing. The staff have an attitude like they don't want to be there. I got there in the afternoon, and they seemed to not have much as far as pastries. I decided to have a scoop of ice cream pistachio, but it was a very gritty, strange consistency. I couldn't eat it. Definitely recommend that you taste the ice cream before purchasing, maybe it was just the pistachio one. read more

I stopped into this bakery one afternoon during a break from work. The interior is nice enough, but that's about as impressive as it got. The items in the counter looked good enough, so I ordered an apple turnover. Nothing special about it. What I did find interesting was the vibe in this place. The customers AND the staff weren't exactly the most welcoming people. The bland baked good and the weird reception were enough to keep me from returning. If you're interested in good food without pretense, I highly recommend Pariser's Bakery directly down the road. Wonderful staff and delicious everything. read more

I have to agree with Fourth. The one visible staff person failed yo acknowledge my existence. This was compounded in that the cases and shelves were essentially empty even though the cafe had just opened on a Sunday. There are European bakeries in the area far more relevant for my patronage. I wish Croustille well, but I won't be back. read more

This place just opened recently and we really love what they have! They're completely dairy free so we ordered some pastries for our Friday night dinner and we were not disappointed at all. It's delicious especially for being dairy free! Their challah bread is also super good, it's kind of like brioche. Our company attempted to call and order lunch for delivery, we were hastily told they were too busy and we were told we had to order online which is fine. We ordered through GrubHub and while our orders came in a relatively timely manner, 2/3 of the sandwiches were burnt on the bottom to the point that the burnt flavor was overwhelming. Slightly disappointed at the price point for sandwiches that also did not come with a side. read more

Instead of buying chocolate croissants from Giant, I stopped by at Croustille Cafe after grocery shopping at 7:45am today since their opening hours online (and also posted on the door) showed that they open at 7am. I read reviews saying to come early since a lot of stuff sells out later in the day, so I was excited that they were open! But unfortunately, I didn't get to try anything because they were not open, the doors were Iocked and not a person in sight. I ended up going to Goldberg's across the street for some muffins, which was also regrettable. Please update your hours so I know when to come! read more

Hubby wants I were driving along and I saw a grand opening banner. We turned around so we could check it out. Inside, the cafe was spacious and looked pretty comfortable. We ordered a chocolate croissant, an apple turnover and a mini loaf of bread. I was excited to have and authentic French cafe in the area. But after one bite, I was done. The croissant tasted like expired crusty chewy rolls with chocolate inside. It was not French pastry quality. It wasn't even French subway quality. This was just okay. The service people while not rude, were simply unable to keep service moving. It seemed as though every transaction was their first. I was here multiple times during a vacation visit as there are very few cafés in the area. Basic service skills are just not tapped into. Multiple times,15-20 minutes pass by while items are being warmed up ... they never return to you. It seems as though they are wanting you to get back in the gruelingly slow line for ordering. The atmosphere is stark, and unfriendly, the floors and tables were covered with food crumbs and smears, coffee orders are confused and admittedly "the best we can do". Why have the person who is barley capable of taking food orders and processing transactions leave to prepare the multiple drink orders or help prepare food orders. Wait times can be long, especially on Friday. Also, the selection isn't as plentiful mid-day because things sell out quick. So come early and be patient. That being said, this place has my vote for the best kosher bakery in town. I recommend the Pan Suisse and Almond Croissant. 10/10! I was excited to patronize today but was unable to buy anything or ask any questions. I was ignored by all three staffers behind the two counters. None of the three were helping other patrons the entire time. There were 5-6 patrons present who were already seated and eating.
