Here is my experience: I purchased 2 VIP tickets for both Friday & Saturday events. This was to be a gift. A few days before I needed to give this gift, they cancelled the event. (But they did not really cancel. They changed the name "From the Ashes" to "Discovery Fire." I spoke with both people in charge of handling the event (the person who set everything up (From the Ashes) and the Settlers Inn person (Discovery Fire) who is now handling it. I was told that those who only bought the one day are fine but those who bought both days now had to buy again. They would NOT sell me tickets over the phone. They said I would need to go to the website again to purchase tickets. The website charges fees. The refund will not include fees. Not a big deal except I shouldn't have to pay additional fees that I have already paid. Their answer: So sorry. We cannot do anything about it. I am very angry. I have a very short time to try to find another gift for my son. Buyer beware: This event may or may not take place. IF you purchase tickets, they still may cancel the event. It's clear that someone put a lot of work into all of the details, from the sets to the bathrooms. The shows were a lot of fun and the kids had the best time. They even gave a little safety first lecture after the shoot-out. We really enjoyed the food. The beans and ribs were stellar - well seasoned and not greasy. Over a third of the games were offline or not working. The ones that we tried either errored out or were claw machines. Beware of the claw machines! I overheard a staff member tell another patron that they are on the highest setting for limited payout. We probably tried one that contained various Sonic characters around 30 times, and still wasn't on payout. Prize Counter - pretty sad looking and only tailored to kids, which I get, but a lot of arcades now tend to have a mixture that would lure adults.
