It's also dusty. I'll tell ya that. I mean yeah you're gonna have a good time, but it's mostly boomers and Gen Xers going in for a cheap drink. Like I know, regularly I spit up acid but this place had me dry-heaving. We love Jennifer, the other guy, ummmm... Hector! Nice people in there. I just wish they did the bar better. They DO have buffets, and BBQ's. Sometimes they have these buffets and shit. Food. So the only highlight is we can go there for darts, food, or maybe bands; karaoke, stuff like that. The steak fries were hot and fresh as well. I went to the back and played some pool with my co-worker. They have plenty of pool sticks, chalk and the miniature pool table accepts quarters. It was a timely treat because the old-school game is a rare find. If you don't have any quarters the bartender will gladly hook you up. After a few breaks, sunken shots and some bites in between, my beer glass was empty. We both were satisfied with the service and the classic pub friendly atmosphere. Im prone to trying new things but mainly stick to things I have ordered and enjoyed in the past. The burger menu is extensive and the combos they offer seem to be crowd favorites. I really enjoy the short rib, fig, fontina sandwich-- great balance of flavors and always consistent. If I were just reviewing the breakfast I would give them five stars. Its excellent. I love the short rib egg and cheese with scallions. I personally enjoy eating with actual silverware and real plates but they have a very lax vibe with what they use to put their food in. It's usually plastic plates and foil containers or fried food basket lined with parchment paper. I understand putting wings, fries, or onion rings in that type of container but if I order a steak or a bigger meal I want a plate and a real steak knife to enjoy my food. Over the years I feel like the bar hasn't delivered the best drafts -- sometimes they are warm or not functioning. The craft drafts that they circulate aren't always kept to the right temp and that can be annoying to complain about after you waited a while for it to get poured. The renovation is great! Clean, friendly, strong drinks and a couple TVs for various sports. The owners could NOT be nicer! One offered me and my friends shots both times I've been there. The bartenders are a group of sweet young ladies that are cool and never leave your cup empty for long. Dave on Sunday is a funny guy.
