Caesar (ask for the big pickle if you want it, all versions don't have it)
    Rosemary S.

Came back here multiple times. As someone who loves Bloody Marys back in the US, the Caesar's here were lights out. Both large and cheap. The pizza menu has a lot of unique options and are loaded with toppings. Salads are also delicious. The pricing is a great bang for your buck. Village idiot is a must go in revy, for both the social vibe and the food and drink. Hope Dan is bartending, he rocks.

Lovely local pub with fun decor and great food. They were super busy on the weekend and we had to wait over an hour to get seated. Tried a few dishes but the pizza was probably the best thing on the menu. They have a lively vibe and it seems pretty busy inside as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend much time but would try it again. The only negative was the wait time but it really was quite long.

I came here twice during a company trip because majority of the group really wanted to come here multiple times. We came here between 5-7pm each time and we were seated quickly. Both times I thought the food was amazing, but the time it takes for your food to come between ordering and being served is over 35 minutes! And I came here on a weekday for both days so I can't imagine how long it takes for your food to come during the weekends. Like I said, the food was great! I highly recommend the fire package on your food (it is fried jalapenos and onions). Their mixed drinks taste great too! I prefer my drinks on the fruity side and theirs hit the spot. Overall, I liked it, but I wouldn't come again especially if I'm starving and looking for a quick bite.

Thos is a real skier pub in fiwntown Revelstoke as illustrated by seats with skis as the backing. We had their version of hread sticks with marinara sauce & split a small pizza - pizza appeared to he a favorite item with many unique variations on the menu. Numerous local beers were on tap plus their version of a bloody Mary was popular, a Cesear. Service was very good, as was the pizza & would recommend to any visitors.

We just stopped in here for a quick drink before heading elsewhere and wish we would have stayed a while! Our server Shanay was so cute and kind. Great prices, great beer & cocktails. Classic ski bar ambiance! We will be back :-)

They have vegetarian and vegan options!! I thought this place was going to be a local spot with "ok" bar food, but food was really good. We got the UMAMI bowl and poutine. Pretty good. It exceeded my expectations. This umai bowl: crispy crusted tofu, brussell sprouts, portobello mushrooms, roasted butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, pickled beets with house made umami sauce on top of red lentils. Ate this up! Everybite was full-on flavor. We added caramelized onions and mushrooms to the poutine. The fresh cut fries were fresh and crispy coveted with generous gravy & cheese curds. It was one of the best poutine I've tasted.

Great variety of food. staff were attentive! I love the flamingo and ski decor. Very unique.

The cinnamon toast. Delicious and fluffy also enough to share between 4 people

Overall my partner and I agreed it's a 8/10 If you were going to describe this place I would say it looks and feels like the perfect way to describe Canadians, with the decor and toques 100% Canadian!! Staff was great!! Super friendly and very in the ball The atmosphere was nice, it was super busy and packed (waited about 15-20 mins) but it wasn't overly loud. Food was good, we started with the hippy dip and it was delicious!! I would definitely come back to try more starters, the only thing I would say is the pita was slightly overdone but overall a wonderful starter. partner had the pesto chicken sandwich and it was fantastic and the poutine on the side needed some seasoning. I had the better burger, the patty didn't have a lot of flavor....i think maybe If the meat was seasoned a little more of could have been really good, the hand cut fries were ok and again just needed to be salted sooner out of the fryer. The dessert (cinnamon toast ) I loved!! It was warm and fluffy and enough to share between 4 people. Like I said overall the experience was wonderful I will be returning to try more. Thank you!!

Travelling through Revelstoke popped in here for lunch. I had the pink lemonade seltzer OMG delicious and so refreshing. We also had a pint of peach ale Also delicious. We shared the humus veggie platter and periogies. The humus and 2 other dips were great and the amount of veggies and pitas were great. The price for 6 periogies was a bit much for what you get. They tasted ok. Not something I would ordered again. Sophie was our server and she was lovely and great. Service was amazing. The price point on things seems a bit steep to me.

I liked this place. MOsttly, friends and I came here in the later evening to have beers and only a little food. The beer selection featured the local craft brewery, Mt Begbie. I'm pleased to say that the beers that I sampled were quite good.. They even had a milk stout! One of our group ordered a large salad. Another ordered the rack of pork ribs. I (ahem) sampled both and enjoyed both a lot. I would not mind coming back here when I'm hungrier in order to dive into full plates of the food they serve.

Sports bar. Young crowd. Very pricey. Two hamburgers, one beer and one Mojito was almost CA $80. Very good service and the food was good.

Hawaiian pizza was the worst Hawaiian pizza I've ever had. Next to no sauce, skimpy on pineapples and ham. Not to mention this pizza was $33

I guessed either this place was good or there ain't much options in Salmon Arm. Why two stars? The food was not that good and the tables were quite tight. People kept bumping my chair when they walked behind me. Not sure why they could not walk on the other side of our table which didn't have anyone sitting there. It was quite annoying. The service could also be better. Our water glasses were not topped up unless we flagged down our server. I had the halibut burger which sounded amazing in the description. Poached in white wine and served with lime aioli. Unfortunately the fish was on the dry side and I barely discerned any wine at all. The saving grace was the yam fries which I upgraded for 1/2 Caesar salad and 1/2 yam fries at $3 more. Those were good. Very small portion of the Caesar salad though. My travel partner didn't like the fried chicken burger at all. The chicken was hard and dry. The server gave extra chipotle Mayo sauce but it didn't help much. Popeyes chicken burger was way better. Overall this was quite a disappointing meal. Maybe people come here for the beer only.

The bus depot is at a convenience store which has a motel attached and this restaurant. Many folks slept on the bus the first night but some of us checked into the motel. The motel needs a lot of updates but I was happy to be sleeping in a bed and not upright in a bus seat. Also, the market really needs to be cleared out and restocked. Very random selection of merchandise. The next night a lot more people checked into the motel and some more adventurous kids took the 20 minute walk into the downtown area in the snow to crash at hostels or other hotel options. The bus company paid for four meals from Ol' Frontier for each person so we got pretty acquainted with the restaurant. I like their corned beef hash breakfast. Not a fan of their bacon and the pizza is just okay. The wait staff is great, however, don't come hungry because they are not assigned tables so even if you got there first someone who came in after you could get their order in and food first. I guess I didn't mind too much because I had nowhere to be. The fireplace in the dining area of the restaurant was my hangout spot for most of the 36 hours being stuck in town. Revelstoke is gorgeous. I look forward to returning when I can come and go without worry that the bus will leave me behind. I want to come back and check out the epic mountain and skiing I hear about. Maybe I'll stop by Ol' Frontier for a beer.
