I was craving Asian food in a not-so-Asian town and locals kept recommending it. After buying a new snowboard and new snowboard boots across the street, we came over expected nothing. It's more of a bar vibe with food, but the food was surprisingly really good. They let us do soju bombs, though I hit mine way too hard and sent beer everywhere. After that, they still let us do more rounds as long as we dropped it in only, had to beg for that. Servers were Korean, which was great to see. They also have a billiards table, so it's a fun place to eat, drink, and hang out after. It seems that K-drama, K-Pop, and K-Food has permeated globally and even in small towns like Valemount had a couple of K-spots and Revelstoke is no exception. If you are scrambling between the mountains doing the Canadian tradition of crossing the Rockies, you'll need to figure out where to stop and nourish your SEOUL. There's a certain audacity to it--the kind that makes a town interesting. You've got this postcard-perfect mountain place, all ski-town swagger and lumberjack flannel, and right in the middle of it, a Korean family decides to plant their flag. They don't just open a restaurant--they create a gathering spot. Seoul Street isn't trying to mimic what Revelstoke already has. It's something else entirely. Walk in and you'll feel it immediately. There's a pulse here--equal parts neighbourhood bar, après-ski hangout, and low-lit spot to linger over soju and a plate of bulgogi. Trivia nights and other activities fill the off-season lull with laughter and beer-fueled rivalry, and when the mountains are quiet, this place hums with locals who know a good thing when they find it. The food? Pretty damn solid - street food with minimal twists and turns - this isn't conFUSION you know! The flavors are real--comforting, soulful, straight out of mom's kitchen, but smartly calibrated for the uninitiated. They'll ask about your spice level, and they actually mean it. You can go mild, or you can sweat your way to enlightenment. Either way, you'll leave full, maybe a little flushed, and very happy. In a town where everyone's passing through--ski bums, truckers, dirtbags, dreamers--Seoul Street manages to feel like home. That's not easy to do. If you're rolling through Revelstoke or laying your head down for the night, don't miss this place. It's brave, it's welcoming, and it tastes like heart. I first visited Revelstoke last summer while traveling through Canada, and when I returned this winter for a ski trip, I stopped by a restaurant called Seoul Street to try their chicken. It was incredibly delicious and the place was very clean; plus, the staff were so friendly that I had a wonderful dining experience. If you happen to be visiting Revelstoke, I highly recommend checking it out--be sure to give their famous Korean-style chicken a try! read more

Excellent modernized Korean "street food" at reasonable prices and friendly staff. It's next to the BC liquor store and has large screen TVs. It is not conventional Korean food. Get there before 6 and the Happy Hour specials provide a great deal for a meal. read more

I grew up eating Korean food my whole life. Ate it daily at hone. Ate at many Korean restaurants all over Korea, various K-towns in Seattle metropolis, and continue to eat regularly at various Koreatown restaurants in LA and Orange County. To be honest I was a bit skeptical about Korean food in the middle of a small ski town in BC, Canada, but we read about the restaurant in a local magazine and had to try it out. They just opened barely a month ago. Kitchen is run by a single Korean family. The mother and father are in the kitchen and the three daughters run the place. It's a pub so there are plenty of alcohol choices with an emphasize on Asian beers and large choice of Korean soju. It also appears to stay open later than most restaurants in Revelstoke. The food was legit. They have authentic Korean dishes and some Korean fusion bar food, and the Korean fried chicken. My favorite was the Korean fried chicken. The dirty sauce and soy honey garlic are both good but I like the original best. I wish they gave a little more pickled radish with the chicken. The pajeon (Korean pancake) was solid. My friends like the jeyook which is a spicy marinated pork stir fry. I really liked the cauli-fry. Street fries were good but need a little more meat on it. Just as any good Korean bar would, they have k-pop blaring on a large TV and have a pool table in a side room. I was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back to try some of the other dishes. If you just want to drink it's a good place too. read more

We have been here twice in the last few days. Homemade Kimchi, how cooll is that. We typically do not enjoy Korean fried chicken because there is too much batter, however this chicken is perfect, some of the best I have eaten. Food was delicious! We ordered take out during our quick stay in town. The portions were super hearty for a great price. Food was ready in 15mins, they intentionally left vents in the takeout containers so that the food didn't get soggy. The dirty style fried chicken was delicious! Cocktails were good. Korean beer a plus. First time my buddies tried edamame and they loved it (street style with sweet chili sauce). Ordered three chicken entrees w different sauces -- original, soy & garlic, and dirty (spicy sweet) and we were surprised by the quantity and quality of the meat. Tasted terrific. Three stars for ambiance, drinks, and service. Two stars for food. This is Korean fusion food, with few authentic Korean dishes. I've eaten in Korea and for decades at dozens of Korean restaurants in the Seattle Tacoma area and i can say this: do not expect your standard authentic Korean cuisine experience here. They don't even offer the standard Korean side dishes. There were only five authentic Korean dish choices. The place caters to the skier crowd with neon lights, pool table, TVs everywhere, and lots of Korean inspired bar food. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer selection was ho-hum. Didn't offer chopsticks. I had the spicy pork dish which was pretty good but not amazing. Again, no side dishes - like a real Korean restaurant always serves. Anyway, if you're looking for the Korean real deal this is not it. I have no idea what the first reviewer was saying. Completely misleading IMO. read more
