Did not actually eat here just walked in to check out the menu. Looked like a big bar establishment, not that many people inside. We landed in Lakeview after a long drive. I was craving pizza. We asked a couple of locals where to get pizza and the responses were not too positive. One shop owner recommended the Village. I did not read the previous Yelp review until we had placed our order. So, I was expecting the worse. We had a pie with Canadian bacon and Olives. To be honest, it was good. The crust was crispy and they did not scrimp on toppings. It was light on sauce, but that is how I like it. We were pleased. Good beer selection too. Service was friendly. I give it 3.5 stars because the atmosphere has a lot to be desired. It is a bar that serves food. The ladies restroom is awful. read more

Passing through town on a Sunday after camping in Adel, we stopped into Indian Village uncertain of what we'd find. The bacon cheeseburger was very good and the hand cut fries were so much better than frozen shoestring potatoes. The jalapeños on my husband's burger were fresh, and the patties were hand-pressed, not frozen cut outs. Maureen and her husband were delightful, and Mac, the cook was helpful and kind. This place is under new ownership and they seem to really care about their food and customers. I'm glad we gave it a shot. Bonus points for special cake on my birthday. 4/5 wanting to see a milkshake on the menu and the washroom to be a bit tidier. Overall, we loved it and will go back when we're in town. read more

Crap pizza. I ordered two and they couldn't get any of them right. The pizza is dry and has a thin skinny layer of non existent sauce. They also put the wrong sauce on my pizzas. Life isn't that hard. Making pizza with the right sauce isn't difficult. On top if that, the pizzas are both burnt. Absolute crap. Don't even bother coming here. Hire a better chef. read more

I have eaten here twice while visiting....had chicken fried steak & eggs the first time.....wow be hungry or you will never get through this one. The food was cooked perfectly but the gravy made this dish, it was awesome. The second time ordered a pepperoni pizza,,,,,again it was very good. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the ambiance is not there but the food is great....definitely a great place to eat. read more

The food at this joint was horrible. Thankfully the portion sizes were small, not that we finished them... The omelet was undercooked. It actually had runny white eggs in the center. The hash browns were fried crispy which I like, but tasted more of grease than potatoes. The pancake was tough to chew, thin and appeared to be deep fried. The service wasn't any better. Definitely on my places to avoid list. read more
