Dr. Deol is an amazing doctor. He's the first"holistic doctor I've had the pleasure to be his patient . Which means so much to me. Wow! Harkens back to the great old days of used record shopping when things were good deals...found some excellent records for as low as... $3 ! Only downside is it's a bit difficult looking through the selection as it's not the typical bins you flip through, you have to pull the records out. Still, just lots of fun. Bought a few things, but it's a different spot when the main guy isn't there vs the kid with shaggy hair. I usually spend a lot more money there.. I know the main guy can't be there every weekday but this particular visit was a turn off. read more

The Vinyl Isle is an amazing hidden gem for true wax enthusiasts. Upon entering the store, the vibes were immaculate-- great music playing on an old school record player in a small store with an amazing selection. I picked up a first press of Aoxomoxoa by the Grateful Dead and an early press of Pink Floyd's Animals-- for $20 and $15 each respectively! I also got the sales tax paid for because it was my first time in-- definitely coming back here every time I am in the area! read more

I agree with all the other 4 & 5 star reviews. Shop didn't have a lot of the artists I was looking for, primarily metal, but I found myself their for quite a long time going through all the other genres. I'll definitely come back. read more

This store is a small store that has LOTS of vinyls. I personally love Elton John and they had a lot of Elton John vinyl for a good price. The worker was a very nice man who you can tell cared about his customers. I recommend going to this store!! I came from LA and I would visit here when I'm in the area again. I'm not too sure if the cashier was the owner but he was a really nice man who offered to test the vinyl and also gave me Ana Elton vinyl to keep. read more

Good selection although pricing suffers from a bad case of "Ebay Sez This Is Worth" syndrome even though you know all genuinely Ebay-able stock is going on Ebay. Still, any time you get this much vinyl in one place it can't help but be interesting. A good place to kill an hour or so browsing the stacks, and you might luck into a markdown returning a price to reality. read more

The ONLY thing I don't like about this place: it isn't closer to my home. A real-deal 100% record store. Not a hop-on-the-bandwagon and sell vinyl because every other store does it type of place. Love this small PACKED record store. Great selection for jazz/blues lovers. I purchased 4 albums, all in great condition, and have had no problems with them playing well. It's well organized (if a little overstocked), and easy to find what you're looking for. The gentleman behind the counter was informative and helpful when I had questions about a specific album. It is cool that Morro Bay has a real record store. I have been here twice and both times I found something to buy in the $10 range. However if you are looking for classic rock lp's the prices are high and the condition is questionable. Awesome Record Store. I'm an absolute vinyl aficionado and I found 5 titles there that I had been looking for for some time. The prices are fine and on top of that, the guy at the store gave me a 20% discount, so the prices were great! Dropped off records to sell here. An employee named Boone took the records. He also called and told us they would give us $51. Went back to get my money was told the only the owner could pay me. Went back later and they could not find my records. The new guy who was also not the owner said he had no Idea why Boone would not have paid me. AVOID!! read more

Awesome store, picked up four LP's on their community night and was eyeing several more. Great selection of roots rock n' roll, classic rock from 60's, 70's, 80's new wave, reggae, classical, country, and I even found some Shakespeare plays. Everything is priced well and the staff was awesome (Chad and Jasmine) and very knowledgeable about music and in fact wanted nothing more to talk music and play some of their own favorite vinyl in the shop. read more

Loved this place! Had TONS of Beatles records in great condition! Plus, I found a Beatles yesterday and today album (the butcher album) there too! The staff is super friendly and helpful. great shop, bit bummed about the Led Zep album we bought and didn't work that well when we got it home. Saw some scratches and the guy said it shouldn't be that big a deal but other than that it was a fun store. BEST RECORD STORE EVER!!!! Jeremiah hooked me up with the GREATEST Stereo system.... Old school turntable, big speakers and equalizer. What I love about this place the very most is that they stand by everything they sell and are truly excited for you when you find what you are looking for! And you WILL! If they don't have it, they will try and find it for you. I could spend hours and thousands of dollars here. I've never gotten such great deals and such great quality. CHECK IT OUT!
