Hello Yelp family! I found the Vinyl Outlet on line and called for a privacy fence installed. Mike Sullivan come out viewed the area I want enclosed. Mike sat down and explained their installation process. I was very impressed with the technique they use instead of cementing 4x4's in the ground. My main concern was making sure the post would not lean due to soupy ground etc. I have never saw such a great idea that they use instead of cementing post. Their installation process of supporting the sections was great! Mike showed me a video of how they install. Cannot beat their install process! I'm familiar with how privacy fences are installed but I must admit seeing how they do it, my fear of anything moving or leaning over time left me. Mike was very pleasant to talk to. I requested someone to come out and look at our fence that is crooked, falling over and poles bent. A repair tech came out on 7/6/26 and was told he only had to fix three poles, but that was not the case. He said he'd be back, but that was 10 days ago and I've not been rescheduled for a repair date as of yet. I was told I'd be rescheduled when the foreman could get additional help for the repair tech. We've not had a good experience since 1 year after the fence was installed. My neighbors are upset as the fence is leaning into their properties and we have to strap the fence in fall to keep from collapsing. read more

"We attempted to get an installation estimate from this company, but hit a major wall with their rigid corporate policy. Because of our conflicting work schedules, it's incredibly difficult for both my wife and me to be home at the exact same time. We requested that the estimate be given to just one of us, but the company flatly refused. There is absolutely no logical reason an estimate cannot be provided to one homeowner; the scope of the work and the measurements don't change based on who is standing in the room. This policy is usually a red flag for high-pressure sales tactics designed to trap couples into a same-day purchase decision. If their process is this inflexible before they even have our business, we have zero confidence in what their customer service or installation would look like. We are gladly taking our business to a company that actually values flexibility and customer service. read more

This was my first experience with the vinyl outlet. So far, I'm extremely pleased With the process and company. I called to inquire about having a privacy fence Installed. Dave was able to come out an hour later to get the process started And had the contract drawn up within two hours of the initial phone call. The estimate process with Tony was great and the deck was finished in a timely manner. Unfortunately, during the removal of the old deck they cut my pool filter pump wiring, did not reroute under the deck like it was originally and left it on the ground damaged. Now I have to take the deck apart, crawl under, reroute and have an electrician replace the wiring and remount. One of the post caps was not secured and the first time the wind blew i found it in the pool. read more

Very professional reasonably priced no high pressure sales exactly what we wanted and I like the lifetime warranty

Had them come out to estimate a fence. Salesperson was nice. Play games with the money. They will show you the price of the fence really high and then add in all this discounts to make it look good. In my opinion, their installation method /price is about volume not quality. Later on if you do not contact them back you will hear from someone who will be able to lower the price more per square foot. I do not like games. Give me a fair price in the beginning. I did not show all my cards but I knew I could get a better price per square foot since we know someone that did use them for their fence. I think the installation technique is questionable based on the money they charge. They will claim it is because of their high quality Vinyl which is all well and good... However, pounding a galvanized steel post in the ground 4-5ft and then attaching the Vinyl posts to it would only work in areas with clay dense soil. To be fair my yard has clay dense soil. With that said other contractors will go down below the frost line and concrete them in. If you go beneath the frostline then there will not be any frost heave. My terminal posts on my 30 year old fence were down below the frost line never heaved. However, my line posts did because the contractor did not go deep enough. I would be concerned with sagging in high wind areas with their installation method. Also their plan to remove my old fence was to just cut the posts at the ground and knock out some of the concrete. I was not a fan of this either. Other contractors will take the posts right out of the ground. I could cut my old chain link fence out myself and dispose of it slowly but when I removed a fence post to get my shed in the back... I jacked the post out of the ground concrete and all. Most fence contractors would have access to better tools than a farmers jack though to remove fences. In the end I chose not to go with them. read more

I guess, I will add to fodder here. Initial sales call in the spring was ok... I explained that I have been in the construction/facilities management business for over 30 years and to please treat me as such. I was disappointed with the quoting process. The guy was knowledgeable, and open to whatever design I was looking for. When the pricing was provided, I was shocked! $45,365 for a deck resurface and handrails. Their 60/60/60 deal and some additional discount for being a veterans discount got me to $36,300. I honestly thought this was a $20K job tops, when I made the call. Where is got frustrating for me is when I asked for the Materials, Labor and markup estimate (I wanted to ensure that I was truly seeing the 60% off the labor bill. The proposal was pictures and square footage, and a not very good description of the scope of work. THEY REFUSED the request! The said "basically the 60% was 15% off the entire job," and refused to show the 60% discount. The contract was all about fencing, and did not cover deck work. There were no home owner protections in there very company protective. Payment terms were 40% down, (Installation agreement says 33%), Balance is due at completion. I explained that I would prefer to not pay a company I had not previously worked with 40% until the materials were delivered to my home.., def ears. The Job does not go on the schedule until the $15K (in my case is transferred). I left it at that, and figured they would call me back in a few days with a better deal. (Call never came). I called them back in September, to see if "winter work" would be any less expensive. Same process as above, same conversations.... This time the scope was corrected, new price was higher $47,585 - discounted was a little deeper $11,885 Overall price changed $600 in my favor - the "sales game." I really wish COVID has not killed competition and customer service, but it is truly dead. I ponied up my $14,500 to get on the schedule. Got on the schedule for a first week of December. Had a meeting with one of the company lead PMs in Mid-November. Great meeting - agreed upon the layout, seem location - promised me the customer should get what they want...... My spirits raised some.... December came, I took job completion day off so I could provide a final look over of the job. Each day I came home looking over what they had done (Started Tuesday). The amount of material delivered was way beyond what was needed (why I wanted to see the material list on quote day).... Demo on Tuesday looked like good progress, Wednesday night demo was done out back, but the framing was not what we agree to (I had no one to call). Thursday they shutdown early (The original PM call me to tell me why) that was reasonable. While on the phone I explained that the framing was not to our original agreement. We met onsite Friday, compromised on a solution - they tore up some of the their work and made it right. They continue the work saying the job would not complete that day as planned. I asked if they would be back Saturday to finish (hoping I could be there for the completion). They said know Monday. Friday night, I noticed first - that during the day my Satellite TV Dish was damaged beyond repair and in my email was the final invoice. Invoice had a Tuesday generation date of 12/3 was sent to me and due on 12/8 (Monday). The job was yet completed, and the invoice was not sent to me when generated. (UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES). I decided to leave it in my email until the job completed. My expectation was that someone should have called me to measure my satisfaction of the job, PRIOR to invoicing. $36K might be a drop in the bucket for them, but was a ton of money for me & my wife to spend on this. They completed on Tuesday 12/9 - I came home from work, and looked over the finished project. Overall pretty good framing, Deck, stairs were well done, front railings were excellent, back railing was mostly good, but the facia was not flush cut, and three of the stations were not not as tight as I thought they should be and one of them I felt was unacceptable and still no one had acknowledged that my satellite dish was destroyed - and the cable was not re-attached. The job site was cleaned up, not left a mess. They had told me that they were going to leave all the left over materials behind (this made me feel a little better about the price). They did leave the cutoffs, as a requested piled neatly. They ended up taking all the excess material back (which puts money in their pocket, not mine) - No credit on the invoice for the returned material. These are all small details, that I assumed could be taken care of when someone called me to check my satisfaction level. 12/19 - I got a past due invoice - Still no Phone call, no body seems to care if I was happy with the $36,300.... So hear, I am on 12/21 - I am going to try and short pay the final invoice 5% of the job and see if that gets me a phone call..... read more

Showed up for driveway retaining wall estimate, met with my wife, got frustrated and rude with her, walked off the job with no explanation!! When I get home she's in tears, clearly upset, then she told me how rude Brian was an how he said she had no idea what was wanted, blah, blah, blah!! No measurements, no options provided on an estimate, just walked off the job after being extremely rude and disrespectful to a senior citizen, disabled handicapped household?? Disgusting, Dishonorable and clearly unconcered about it!! read more

Review: Do not recommend! 1st they hit an electrical wire going to my house. They lied directly to my face and said it had nothing to do with my house but went to the street light out back. I believed them as all my main appliances, tv, work computer etc. were still on so I didn't think much of it. RGE came out and shut off the electric so they could fix. It wasn't fixed correctly and 4 months later I came home to no electric in 1/2 my house. I showed the electrician pics and he said those are def wires to my house and said the tape job resulted in a "slow burn". It cost me $2500 to fix. In the meantime, my basement flooded during a rain storm due to no electric/sump pump. Then I got an email from the assessor asking if my deck was complete. They never did the final inspection so I had to pay extra (permit expired) for the inspector to come out and it failed inspection. Now they are refusing to come out and put railings on my steps so it will pass. Very shady company! Stay away!! read more
