When I first got on set I've requested a mirror, and he just looked at me and asked if I could trust him a bit first, and let me tell you I'm glad I did. As he was shooting, he was conscious of the lighting, the drapery, and didn't just click away, studied me as a subject and guided me on poses to consider. His instructions were clear and there was absolutely no guesswork. And after each session, he would let me take a peek at the viewfinder, and I can still recall the squeals of excitement As I was finding a hard time recognizing the super model in frame! But that is truly the magic of Matthew Mitchell, he is a wizard.
