I had a few questions regarding some items a few friends needed and the guy was very helpful when answering them. They do seem low in stock of items but other than that I don't have anything bad to say. They offer military discount as well. All in all seems to be a great store. I don't normally review businesses but after searching for their phone number and noticing poor reviews I knew I had to try and change that. I have been a regular customer at The Vitamin Shoppe in Bel Air for more years than I can count now and have yet to have one bad experience! At worst, they might be out of stock or not yet have a new flavor protein bar that I wanted. Other than that, the employees are always very welcoming and knowledgeable and I am always able to get everything I need at a very competitive price. Upon walking in, the employees always greet you and ask if you need help finding anything. The only time they won't do this is if they're all busy with other customers, but they will find time to help you if you look confused! I would definitely consider these employees experts in their fields and my shopping experience here is always pleasant because I never feel pressured into buying certain brands like I do at GNC, which I imagine encourages their employees to sell certain products more so than others. I always trust The Vitamin Shoppe's employees' recommendations and advise. They just about always have a product out to sample while you shop, too, whether it would be a multivitamin, mint, or new protein bar flavor! The prices have always been very reasonable and while GNC has recently lowered their prices to be more similar, this store always has surprising sales that might not even be online, so it's worth stopping by to see what you can save on! The employees are always very patient and will match their online prices if their website offers something for less money. This store and all of their employees truly deserve nothing less than a 5 out of 5 star rating! They do their best to remember you and make you feel valued, and they work hard to stay knowledgeable while hosting fun in-store events throughout the year! I am thankful that we have this store nearby. They have a good selection and it is so convenient when you need a vitamin or herb in a pinch and cant wait for deliver. Their prices are competitive. Also, better in the summer rather than have my vitamins shipped in the heat. I have never had a bad experience from this store! Yes, sometimes the new employees have trouble finding things-- it's a large store with a huge selection! I dont see why someone would give a 1 star rating for that; you try being thrown into a new store like that and see how long it takes you to find something foreign! Whenever someone cant find something for me they always find someone else who can find them. The employees are VERY well-versed in virtually every item in the store. I almost dont even feel the need to do my OCD research before I go in the store! If I ever forget to, though, I love the in-store computer. Helps me check for online sales or reviews on new products I want to try. Prices beat GNC, and their Vitamin Shoppe brand items compare to the high-price name brands! I almost always buy their generics and am never let down. Also, returns are so simple. I never worry about having a bad reaction to something because I know I can always get store credit with no hassle! I've tried GNC and Natural stores a few times and I will never go back again.
