Natural Grocers was the OG. Before Whole Foods, Sprouts, and before the Boise Cooperative, it was Natural Grocers. It's a great story, look it up and read about Margaret and Phillip Islely, their $200 bucks, and their dream. I've visited several times, and while it may still have a following, it gets lost in the ever-expanding sections of your traditional grocers. It wasn't long ago, that you would NOT see vegan cheese in the cheese aisle, or plant-based meats in the meat section, but now they are there, whether it's something you eat or not. The vegetable and fruit section is smaller than the Co-Op at the Village but sometimes it's good to have a second chance. The vitamin section as well as the community hang-out section to the right when you walk in should not be missed. One thing that often gets missed is that some shoppers see these grocers as vegan or vegetarian. While it's true that they stock vegan and vegetarian items, they also have organic meats and meat products. So when I walked in the shop, the friendly staff members greeted me and was willing to assist me. They gave me a body analysis and had Chris helped me with meal plans and recommendations to reach my fitness goals (free of charge). No pushy sales at all. In fact, I was a little doubtful when Chris recommended me to eat more carb., but I figured I would give it a try. With less than a week, other than adding more "good" carbs in my diet, I could see my weight starts dropping again. This will be the vitamin shop I recommend!

I stumbled upon this place while on a road trip from Seattle to Ft. Collins. I was low on my supplements and didn't want to run out. Quick google search and I found Newko along my route and decided to give them a shot. On top of having exactly what I needed, their inventory was impressive and diverse. Seriously. Newko's inventory is better than anything I've been able to find locally here in the Seattle/Bellevue area. The woman I worked with was courteous, knowledgeable, answered all my questions and gave valid feedback. I think I spent around $250 with them and, it was worth every dollar. My in-store experience could not have been better. Fast forward to a couple days ago, I'm again running low on my supplements. I could have gone through my online retailer however, my experience with Newko came to mind. They treated me so well the first time, I felt they deserved another opportunity to earn my business. I called in and spoke with Bryan [who I believe is the owner]. Again, the experience was seamless. They had what I needed, all of my questions were answered, he was flexible and, worked around my needs. The turn around time from purchase to home delivery was faster too, by about 2 days! Needless to say, I'll continue to give them my business, indefinitely. If an independent/small business owner has what you're looking for and, provides you with an outstanding customer experience; I strongly feel it's your duty as a consumer to give them your loyalty and business. The current state of affairs has dealt a devastating blow to business owners. If the American small business goes away, there will be no one left to keep the big box corps honest. That outcome is not in any of our best interests.

I started looking at all their drink options. They have a lot! The two gentleman that were working gave me time to look over the menu. I did have a question about one of the teas. Rocky (the owner) and Austin did answer my questions. Rocky was nice and gave me a sample of the Thai tea before I committed to 12 oounces of it. He was also kind to modify the milk for me since I can't have dairy. I did get the Thai tea modified with oat milk. Boy, it is so good! It has the right amount of sweetness to it. It's sweetened with sugar cane vs condensed milk. I don't know the taste difference yet but the sugar cane is a total win for me! I'm not gonna lie, some of the boba pearls were still kind hard but it's ok. With the service and tea I was given, it could have had rocks on the bottom and I would still be happy! I got a chance to talk and interact with Rocky and Austin. It was nice to talk to them and get to know them. I was raised in a family full of business owners and it was great to connect with Rocky on that level! Austin was also great at promoting the donut shop next door to help promote their products and business as well. It a great to see local businesses supporting other local businesses! I just happened to drive by as I was picking up lunch at nearby Firehouse Subs and I just had to go in and give them a try. There was a really nice guy at the register who assisted me in taking my order and making my drink which came up pretty fast so I didn't spend much time browsing their various CBD products in the cases but I will definitely be back for a more in depth look at them later and for more iced coffee too ofcourse! I also really loved that they had bamboo straws as an option rather than just regular plastic straws that are terrible for the planet. The sense of welcome and quality of service here is exceptional. This Eagle store has been at this site for a number of years, I think, and sibling to a Boise location. I don't know which location opened first but Customedica has been operating in the area for more than 20 years. My discovery of it was in 2021 when as if the pandemic times weren't challenging enough, I developed an auto immune disorder that requires treatment in flare ups with a compounded medication and the MD who wrote the script suggested I go here to fill it. (If there is a silver lining in every difficult thing, the disease made it very difficult for me to eat in the months needed to have it diagnosed and it sure was fun to eat the six pounds back on when I could do that again. :-) ) "Knock on wood", I've only needed refill of that med a couple of times since but when I do the pharmacy does a great job of filling it for me. They also provide flu shots and I chose them as first option for that last year. And they also fill standard, non compound, prescriptions. They accept insurance, including Medicare I am told, but although I have great insurance coverage, none of it pays for compounded medications. The store has a really nice selection of greeting cards, high end dermatology skin care, and gifts like lovely soap, candles and also things made by local providers. If you are a consumer who embraces the whole being concept of wellness, you'll find good quality brand supplements here too and also, I think, some consulting on what might work best for those along with other wellness lifestyle advice. PARKING: Private lot but like many lots in Eagle this one is tight and can be tricky entering and exiting. ACCESSIBILITY: ADA parking spot near door, ample floor space inside for access.
