I just had the most memorable and great experience here at The Vitamin Shop. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by Robert. He immediately asked me if I needed any assistance. He then commented on my car saying how cool it was and he spoke my language haha (cars) and we just hit it off. I went through the store which is very well stocked and clean and was impressed by all the great supplements and products they have here. I got some bars and an energy drink which also has a great variety to choose from and felt very glad to be here. Robert rung me up and we just kept chatting. Great products for very fair prices. Normally I wouldn't write a review for such a quick in and out pickup of a few items I was running low of at home, but I had to because of Veronica who assisted me about two weeks ago. Immediately I was welcomed in by her which I can't say has happened many other times at this specific location at all honestly, but it was nice to be welcomed. It's a very basic thing, but it really does break the ice and make you feel like you're not interrupting something by looking around & shopping. I was crouched in the aisle intently reading the labels of like 5 different brands that manufacture what I was looking for and she asked me if I needed help finding anything. The first time I said no, and the second time I asked her for her own personal opinion on the two brands I was considering and I could definitely tell she knew what she was talking about as far as the brand and the effects both in general and personally, and her input did influence the product that I ended up buying. If I'm remembering correctly she said she was filling in and normally works at the Brea location as a manager, but her customer service, product knowledge and overall friendly personality is why I'm writing this review. She's a customers dream as far as making sure you walk out with exactly what you wanted. I had a problem with my rewards account with The Vitamin Shoppe and she cleared that up for me too. 10/10 read more

Friendly staff and decent variety of products. Hard to spot when this place is tucked into a little corner of the plaza.

Rafael is VERY knowledgeable and tells you exactly what each supplement does without just trying to close a sale. I respect and appreciate that. He helped me put together a weight loss stack that I loved. He gave me the science behind it without being too technical, although I know he knows his chemistry. This is a very clean and wells stocked place. Came in looking for some supplements, but unfortunately, they don't stock a huge variety. No sale. However, they do stock more than a few popular brands. Staff is "better than good" when it comes to the differences between the brands. They are also extremely helpful and not pushy. I actually purchased a skin-fold caliper because it was marked down and the same price as Amazon. No membership needed. Check their website for store hours and brand names. Plenty of parking. Continuous bad service at this location from the gentleman that work here Saturday afternoons. I'd rather order online (at other merchants, as you're never the lowest). Your guys seem SO BOTHERED when I even mention the words "Can you price match for me please?" I've walked in twice, never have received a greeting, never have been asked if they could help me find something. This store HARDLY EVER stocks up on items that they claim to have available for customers. I have wasted my time traveling back and forth to this store just to realize that they SUCK in this department. Maybe this is why they barely have customers. I only gave them one star because they are very polite, but very polite doesn't make the products available. I'm done with them. Don't bother, go somewhere else like GNC, Sprouts or maybe another Vitamin Shoppe location besides this Chino Hills location that knows how to keep products on their shelves. Come here all the time, the store is really clean and well stocked. Everyone is always very helpful and never try and push products. I love that they have a lot of organic products and supplements. On the other hand prices are tremendously cheap compared to other chino supplement stores. Easy parking is a plus too read more
