First time at this location that is close to Granby street in Norfolk. Be mindful that there is no parking directly in front but there is a parking strip along the side that looks like an alley. Limited parking right along side. Plenty of parking within walking distance. This store is pretty decent in size. I was quickly greeted and asked if I needed assistance. That made me smile on the inside. I'm BIG on customer service. The store was clean and well organized and the staff was extremely helpful I was assisted in selecting a multi vitamin, educated on the new blends of thermogenenics and picked up some cool energy drinks. That are supposed to be "CLEAN" Tip! If you purchase a product and do not like it for what ever reason you can exchange the semi used product for something else within 30 days! Awesome! Sometimes you buy a product and it does not work or your body simply doesn't do well on it... Thank you vitamin shop for such and awesome exchange policy If you are a member they also track your receipts and with your phone number and occasionally mail you $10 coupons at home Another great tip is if you forget your coupon they can also find it under your account with your phone number! Less than 7 to 9 hours ago, I visited this Norfolk Virginia location of The Vitamin Shoppe and fortunately the employee I interacted with for a certain supplement purchase helped me find what I was looking for and helped to enroll me in a free rewards program that they have for customers.  I had purchased an Irwin Naturals brand of Forskolin (listed to be a lip-stimulator and fatloss diet supplement) however there are of course other types of supplements that I noticed were inside the Vitamin Shoppe. read more

The staff here are extremely knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. They carry a broad range of high quality and brand name products. Also, I've had the pleasure of sampling products when I'm unsure. I'm not sure if it's an "anytime" thing or if it's a "M-F, 9-5" thing. For me, that's happened M-F daytime hours. One of the first times that I went there, I spent an hour slowly combing the aisles looking for specific vitamins and minerals. I was asked if I needed help in a non-pushy way & given helpful tips and time & space to make my decisions. Ultimately, I did ask for more detailed help (sometimes Google doesn't know best). I thought that I was in a typical retail environment and didn't expect such a thorough, thoughtful and informative (aka "expert") response. I was impressed! The lady inside was rude. I asked where the vitamins A, B, C were and she basically told me over there...go read the signs. It's a big place and I needed help. I don't have all day when it all looks the same. Then I go to the counter where she is standing and I had to wait for her to take a call AND chat back and forth with a couple who were behind me in line about their questions before she would ring me up. There are only a few Vitamin Shoppe's in the Hampton Roads area. I think this is 1 of 3. Great location and convenient parking in the back of the building. The employees were super helpful and friendly. I'm going to start visiting this location more often since there isn't one really close to where I live.
