Grabbed an Elvis, PB&J smoothie, grabbed a cold press carrot juice, 12 ounce lentil soup and a chicken Shawarma sandwich from here. They didn't have any more container tops for the 12 ounce containers, had to put it into a 16 ounce container instead. The PB&J was okay, more fruity and jelly than PB for me. The Elvis is better. The lentil soup was okay, not much flavor for me, but tastes healthy. The cold pressed carrot juice is good, refreshing enough. They head out samples of their blueberry lemon muffin. I took a sample, was it for me. It was a little mushy yet crumbly and lacked flavor to me. The salad bar looks decent, but I would need their mushrooms and peppers to be cut down more, all in all the options are good for a salad bar.

The store is a bit pricey but I do believe this has the best selection of food and household goods compare to most health food stores probably within a 50 Mile radius. The staff was very friendly too! I want to give a shout out to a staff member that I saw escorting a elderly man with a cart full of groceries and helping him load his car too! She also educated me on the products I thought I needed and gave me an overall better understanding of how everything works. I always feel a little intimidated going in places like GNC because all of the workers are in tip top shape and sometimes feel like they are just trying to make a sale or don't want to be bothered at all. Erica really helped me out a lot. I soo appreciate great customer service and feel the need to acknowledge it in the few rare times it happens.

Ok whatever, I will bite the bullet and pay way more and get my stuff from GNC this one time. Drive another ten minutes away to get to this GNC location on 6 mile near the expressway. My boys didn't have school either because of cold weather so I had them in tow. My five year old does the "dad I have to go potty" but as we are walking into store. I got the usual greeting of hows it going? Can I help you find something, I said yeah I have to pick up some supplements. But can I use your bathroom first? Guy says I don't have a public restroom. Really? Turned around and walked out. I was about to spend about $250 dollars to restock. Would be about 190 after discount and coupons from Vitamin Shoppe. Guy just smirked. GNC, if you're reading or listening to customers, it's things like this that give you a horrific name. Forget that your products really do suck most of the time they are overpriced and stale, but this is why you're failing. Will be the last time I'll ever step foot into GNC. I'd rather just suck it up.

They definitely have some specialized grocery items and it feels more of a local store than the usual big chains. I have been there to pick up a cold brew coffee and oat milk. The prices tend to be around the same as specialty stores, so definitely a little more than your usual big box stores. I've never found their food quality to be any better than a fancier or nicer specialty store, though.

No one greeted us when we walked in, and when we walked to the register, I was really really shocked! I watched the cashier waiting on another customer, bagged her things, smiled. BUT when we got closer to her check out lane, she asked if we had a phone number with them, we said NO, she proceeded to ring everything up, never asked us if we wanted to sign up or anything like this. After my husband paid for everything, I looked down, and she just pushed everything at us, no bag, no nothing!! Then she proceeded to turn her back on us, leaning on the counter.
