This place is pretty run down and the food is abysmal, especially for the prices charged. The real kicker is that this establishment charges a 3% fee on all bills to cover the cost of "inflation." I did not see this charge advertised on the menu before ordering, you're just left with it once you get the bill. This is an incredibly shady practice to extract more money from customers while appearing to keep costs "low." I refuse to believe this fee goes back to the employees, this is just another example of corporate greed, why not just change the menu prices if you need more money to make a profit? Regarding the food, I ordered the crispy brussels sprouts and they came out without the bacon, but even when I notified the waitress and she brought me a cup of bacon, it didn't improve the taste. I also ordered the honey chipotle salmon that was on special and it was SWIMMING in the sauce. I couldn't even attempt to eat any of the rice pilaf that came with it because it was practically just soup due to the amount of sauce. Not to mention the sauce was very strange and congealed, it kept getting stuck to my teeth like caramel. On top of this, the place is falling apart, the ceiling tiles are falling down, the chairs are on wheels(?) and don't fit at the tables, the waiting area seating booth is ripped so bad it's practically split in two. I would never go back and I actually would encourage others to avoid it here, I'm surprised by all the good reviews.

Stopped by for a drink and dinner. Seated right away outside. Outside bar & picnic tables with umbrellas to block the sun. Waitress was really nice. All the waitresses help each other. Started with the fried calamari. You can tell it is frozen. The calamari was fried harder than I prefer. The food portions are big and can be shared. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to families or date night. I would return when in the area.

So I was in Pennsylvania for a New Year's party and the Giants played. So I asked my friend where to watch the game. She recommended her favorite spot "The W Tavern" and said the wings are excellent. I mean football and wings, what could be better? We goto to the bar around twelve thirty and asked the bar tender, named Michelle, if they could put one tv on for the Giants game? Now, remember, this is a Pennsylvania restaurant so it's a curtesy for them to put the game on. However, they didn't have Sunday Ticket, so we couldn't watch the game. What a sad state of events; the wings or the game. My hungry for the better of me so the seven people and I stayed. I have to say, I'm glad we did. The three flavors, mango habanero, garlic parmesan, and the bbq sauce, were incredible! They were a good size and they offered tons of delicious blue cheese. They offered a special so we got a great deal on the wings, also the beer, if that's your thing (I mean, it is a bar). But next event at her house, I would go back. I just hope it's not during the football season, or they get Sunday Ticket.

It just seamed like they threw in lime juice or mojito mixer and threw in 2 lime wedges and mint leaves and a lot of liquor. Limes were not muddled with the mint leaves and sugar like mojitos usually are. The lime juice or mixer they use did not taste good and it lacked sweetness. When we sent it back the bar tender became visible upset and appeared to be giving our server a very hard time. The returned mojito was also not removed from the bill. We then tried a margarita. It lacked sweetness and was very tart. We fixed it by asking for a little agave to add to it. Here's was the deal breaker for us. Thier lack of willingness to make minor adjustments or substitutions to anything even for a food allergy is absolutely unacceptable. For example: You won't be able to switch a side or ask for any adjustments to thier meals or cocktails. We asked about making a minor adjustment to a drink due to a food allergy. The drink was topped with a foam and we asked if we could leave out the foam. It would not have changed anything about how the drink was made aside from it simply not being topped with this foam. The answer was a hard no, the owners do not allow it. The manager came and talked to me. She was pleasant and I appreciated her taking the time to hear my feedback. However, it was very clear that I was wasting my breath because the owners are very particular and strict about not changing anything. It was not a good experience. We paid our bill, gave the server a good tip and took our business elsewhere.

Broccoli was not charred but burned and extremely difficult to bite through. The mac and cheese was an offense against nature. It was a pale brownish white with a strange sweet flavor. The pasta was mush. The worst part, though, were the proteins. Salmon was incredibly bland and overcooked. Chicken was not much better. I won't be back.

We were pleasantly surprised to be offered menus upon arrival, which isn't typical for fast casual dining. While reviewing them, one of the team members shared a bit about DIG's history of growing their own food. Due to their expansion, they partnered with trusted vendors to maintain their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. My meal definitely proved they've made great choices. I chose to build my own bowl with salmon as the protein and sides of cucumber tomato salad, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The staff was wonderful--they happily looked up ingredient details to answer my questions and even offered samples to help me decide. Such great service! The cucumber tomato salad was fresh, colorful, and visually beautiful. This is exactly what food should be. The garlic aioli was thick and full of flavor and made for a great dip. The char on the sweet potatoes was so good. The mac & cheese ended up being my favorite side. It was creamy, cheesy, and topped with the most satisfying crumble. The salmon (I chose the non- spicy option) was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and great flavor. As for drinks, DIG uses Boylan Bottling Co. for their fountain sodas instead of the typical Coke or Pepsi lineup. I'd never heard of Boylan before, but after trying their diet cola, I'm a fan--it's been around since 1891 for a reason! Overall, this was such a positive dining experience. I try to eat clean, wholesome foods, and DIG really delivers on that with fresh, beautiful ingredients and attentive service. If I'm in the Jenkintown area again, I'll definitely stop by--and I'm crossing my fingers they open a location closer to Bucks County soon!
