They serve up some great hotdogs. They have Nathan's all beef hotdogs and sausage dogs. Its a great place to hit up after a ballgame. They have a large selection of condiments to put on your dog or you can get a pre made one or build your own. I had a rajun cajun, chili cheese, and a back yard dog.

Wow! A meal for under $7 in 2023! And the service was excellent. A great find as I traveled through the area. Recommend!

To be completely honest, I was not totally enthralled with my first visit. The chili was disappointing and there was nothing special about the hot dog. However, on my second visit, I realized where I missed out: the sides. The potato salad alone is worth the trip! The staff is pleasant, the atmosphere is vibrant but the potato salad is off the chain. Better than my Maw Maw's even (please don't tell her I said that). I look forward to going back and checking out their sausage dogs.

    Yummy!!!!

I really enjoy it because it's a family-owned business. They open at 6 PM and stay open until 4 AM, which makes it a great spot for a late-night snack. It's located in downtown Mobile, so there are plenty of places to walk around and explore while also grabbing a delicious bite to eat. One thing I don't like is that they don't offer a combo meal, so you have to purchase the hot dog, fries, and drink separately. The line can also get very long. They do offer unlimited toppings, which is a plus. However, since it's in the downtown area, finding parking can be difficult. You may have to park farther away and walk. Overall a good place to visit!

5 Stars - A Must-Visit Spot for a Late-Night Bite!…read more I was in town for business and happened to be walking around the square when I came across King Dogs--what a find! Ms. Ingrid was outside to greet me with a warm smile and genuine Southern hospitality. She walked me through the menu, and her passion for the food was contagious. I went with the King Conecuh Dog and a strawberry soda, and let me tell you--it hit the spot. The hot dog was 100% beef and packed with flavor. Mine was topped with perfectly grilled onions and bell peppers, and the combination was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect late-night snack. The service felt like good ole Southern family-style hospitality, the kind that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. There are even tables outside if you want to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're in the area, King Dogs is a definite stop. Great food, great people, and a true local gem. Don't miss it!

God bless the families that roll by ordering a pile of food bc I am done with getting home with food and disappointment that I did not order.

Enjoyed my lunch - potato salad & a chili cheese dog. Price was about $12 for the combo with a drink, I thought that was a little high but the cost of everything is going up. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is kind of exactly what you would expect on the inside, but I think that it adds to the vibe.

I did order a hot dog though because who comes to a hot dog place and doesn't get a hot dog? The place didn't seem really busy but there a few tables occupied. I ordered a jumbo dog. I put pickles, onions, tomatoes, mustard, and relish. Maybe relish and pickles is redundant but that's what I wanted. I made it a combo so I got potato salad and a coke. The order was to go and it was ready within minutes of me sitting down. I got home and was ready to eat my lunch. The potato salad was a white potato salad and it didn't disappoint. I'm not very particular about my potato salad as some people but this one was really good. The hot dog was delicious. The frank was flavorful and all my toppings were just what it needed to put it over the top. I wish I knew what brand frank it was. I definitely would recommend Al's as the number one place for hotdogs.
