My husband and I made an appointment at the short pump Good Feet store with Tamara. From the first moment we walked in Tamara was incredibly helpful. She is very knowledgeable and walked us through the product, taking imprint of our feet and also showing us the inserts. We both ended up walking out with the system they offer. My husband instantly felt relief from his heel pain and after about 1.5 months of using the inserts, my Tendinitis/nerve pain has 100% gone away. I also do not have lower back issues like i used to! I had been visiting a chiropractor at at least twice a month! I never understood how our feet and the way we walk affects so much of our body and can cause back and knee issues!. You can buy "Good shoes, "but they are only a Band-Aid and don't fix the actual issue! We cannot recommend the Good Feet store enough and how it has changed our lives! I just needed plain black tennis shoes. The one pair I saw looked like someone was walking on the back of the heels, so there's no way I was buying them. I ended up leaving and going to DSW only to buy those same black tennis shoes minus the run down heel. I'm disappointed. There wasn't anything that caught my eye this time around & the staff wasn't even friendly enough to speak when I entered or when I left. So much for customer service. This store looks to be black owned, something I love !! So we browsed and saw some haute (hot) kicks (shoes). Sales were being offered too. Now I love a sale and from a boutique shop...that's rare. Babe found two pair of shoes and I did as well. Shoes sold here are usually not in your chain shoe stores: Athletes Foot, Foot Locker or even DTLR. The only detractors were the really strangely lit room in the back, which made it really hard to see anything, and the fact that the giant TV in the front was being used like someone's private living room. It was a little awkward when I was in there with my wife and it starting blasting while people were eating and yelling in front of it. The guy at the register was nice though, and very helpful.
