Enrolled in the middle of the month and had to pay for full month only to use it once. The day we…read morewent was the middle of the week. It was so crowded. I figured it be more for kids but seemed more adults than children. My daughter and I tried the workout machines after waiting to use them. While working out we had this creepy old man just stare the whole time. He was sitting at the tables right in front of work out machines. Not sure if he was medicated or what but made my 13 year old uncomfortable. We moved to the other side where the weights are for a few minutes but I can still tell it was bothering her so we left. Only went ONE day and never came back. It took me days trying to locate where to cancel membership online only to finally call days before months over for them to tell me I have to go in person to do it. Finally got the chance to go after being busy at work and it's the end of the month and they tell me it takes 30 days to cancel mind you I didn't even have a full month of membership to cancel. I sign the paperwork and turn in my membership keycards. Mind you didn't realize I could still use them for another month until when Racheal from the local YMCA reaches out with wanting more information on why my child felt uncomfortable. Explained the situation of what happened. She informed me someone was going to reach out to me and nothing. I "should" have access for this month to go but why would I return to a place my child felt uncomfortable!!

I'll be the first to comment! I just moved here looking for a place to work out. I'm not one to…read morelove cardio and I was intentionally trying to find a weightlifting gym. I've never tried spin and I'm so glad I ran into Aaron's page on FB! I've been coming here for 3 weeks doing free classes (he is building his business) and it's been so much fun. For someone to not know ANYONE in TX other than my own family, it feels good to come here & meet new people that work just as hard as you on the bike! So if you are just starting- For me being new, finding the place was fine. I had to slow down because there are 2 entrances but he has a banner out in front saying Drenched. I guess it was kind of challenging for me bc I go at 5:30a or 6a class and it's still dark out. Lol When I first walked in there it seemed as if people were already comfortable with one another.. but the instructor Aaron welcomes you with open arms. 10 bikes available. He teaches you the basics of spin & reassures you that you go at your own pace until you get the hang of it. Aaron has DJ lighting & turns off all the lights during the ride but you can still see your way around just in case you need to get off and leave or use the restroom. He provides towels just in case you forget yours. But I recommend to bring your own towel AND water! He has wipes to wipe down the bike before and after. After the ride, he closes off with stretching. The music for his classes are generally hip hop, pop, & sometimes rock. Warning: his music can be explicit but I personally don't mind. I actually like it better that way lol. So this is your FAIR warning. Lol You will be doing some choreography on the bikes. They are not hard but also not simple. The music is there for you to stay on beat. So that means.. pedal pedal pedal! Times for the classes are pretty basic. Early morning, morning time, lunch hour and night classes. To make things easier it's best to download the app. You will leave this class DRENCHED. Have not tried HIIT with Drenched yet, but once I do.. I'll be back to leave a review :) Thank You Aaron & Drenched Team! Having a great time with spin class & finding a new hobby! - also for you heavy hitters: I'm more on the heavy side for women.. my knees are horrible from sports growing up but with spin It's not doing any damage to my knees. They're feeling great!

This is structured as a boxing for fitness class, so you won't be expected to spar at any point, and no worries if you're nervous about coming in. The staff is incredibly friendly-- and it's not just one person; it's everyone I've interacted with so far. I've been to various gyms (CrossFit-esque, luxury/boutique, smaller/independent kickboxing). Still, I don't recall an instructor asking me on the first day of coming in about my personal goals and how they could help me attain them. They're also offering personal training if that's something that interests you. The facilities are immaculate and still in excellent condition, but they haven't been open that long. The room where classes are held is split in half: uppercut bags on one side and benches with weights on the other. Lockers are available along the wall near the entrance, and there is a water fountain if you bring a reusable water bottle. If you don't have the gear, no sweat. They've got some you can borrow, and if you decide to sign up, you can buy some gloves and quick wraps there. If you're new and unsure, I suggest you take an intro class and take advantage of the BOGO offer for first-timers. That way, you'd take three classes and choose the best plan for you.
