The staff are great . The company is the one that sucks . To cancel the membership they want 30 days notice . It sounds ridiculous.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner Barry. As I explained that I was from out of state and only wanted a one-day usage, he generously offered the use of his facility for FREE. I respectfully refused because I was honored by his offer but more importantly, I wanted to show a return of respect to Barry for being an independent owner of a gym in this fitness business. Besides, you treat things of more value when you pay for them than receiving it for free; we negotiated a fair use of his gym for $10. This gym might be considered small to some but this place has some of the best and cleanest equipment anywhere. All the dumbells (up to 120lbs) are properly placed along with the seats in front. The power area has 1 Smith machine and one power rack; no stand alone flat bench press. The 45-lb plates are plentiful to fill the leg press and hack squat machine. There are various cable and weight machines to for specific muscle groups. The treadmills, elliptical machines, and stair climbers are more than adequate for anyone's cardio needs. A massage table is available for your post workout as well. This place has a great environment for a serious workout. The clientele are very nice and will spot you for a heavy lift if you ask. Please support this business because not only will it fulfill your fitness needs, but the owners are the best of people and we need more of that in this world.

The ladies who work the front desk play the BEST music! I was brand new to Pilates just a year ago and was looking for something to help repair my abdomen and pelvic floor after having a baby. Pilates has changed my life and thanks to these instructors I feel more confident in my form and I'm only getting better. I look and feel better overall and I always leave my workouts feeling accomplished. I highly recommend this specific studio, try the FREE intro class, you won't regret it!

However, when I had the chance, I never took a reformer class or a personal training session. So, when I saw that Club Pilates was nearby, I decided to book an intro class to see what it's like. In 30 minutes, we covered a decent amount of information. Granted, there's a lot of equipment to become familiar with, but we got a general idea of the carriage, straps, and foot bar and managed to do some lunges, bridge work, and movements with the straps in our hands and feet. Syd was great at explaining things and correcting folks (with permission). She was also cool about answering my questions after the intro class. There's a strong community among the members. After class, people chatted while sanitizing their stations and then said goodbye. It seems like a good place to get into, but I've been traveling lately and haven't made a decision yet.

I have been a member nearly a year and was told that I cannot bring my 14 year old son in and help introduce him to the fitness lifestyle without purchasing a membership for him. But I can bring a someone that's over 18 as my guest. This is by and large the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Over the last few months since you let go of Keon at the Pat Booker location I have seen a huge down grade in customer service, professionalism and over positive gym environment. Everyone other than Aaron are absolutely horrible at greeting people, making them feel welcome and actually caring for people. Multiple times people are on their phones as I walk in and don't even acknowledge that customers are coming in. Yall really need to do better. Front staff is trash, called to talk to the manager about cancelation policy and they hung up on me. Additionally, cancelation policy is absolutely trash. 30 day written notice to get an additional month of dues out of you. If they kick you out... they dont give you 30 days.

I go in and go through the lengthy process of signing up for the first time for a gym to find out they actually do NOT have a pool at this location. The guy assures me, I can go to the one that's twenty minutes away... Why would I do that when the gym I normally go to is another two minutes up the road and doesn't lie to me?

If you're over 40 and ready to start a change in your body, this is the place for you…read more I started APF in July of 2024, and am so glad I did. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of working out, but as I've gotten older, put on some extra weight (thanks COVID) and now have a job working from home, I just don't get up and move around as much as I used to. I realized that my muscles are a lot weaker than they used to be, and I simply wasn't getting up and walking around enough anymore. So now I attend classes twice a week and I am always glad I went after the class is over. Every class is very individualized to what I need. I may be working on the same muscle groups as the person next to me, but the exercise is specialized to me in a way that fits my needs. Not everyone is in the same shape or has the same physical fitness needs, and APF customizes your workout to fit your individual needs. They always take into account any injuries I may have, and give me alternate exercises until I'm healed. Additionally the trainers are always so positive and encouraging! They show you the correct form and way to do each exercise, and encourage questions if you want help or clarification. They don't push me to do more than I am safely able to. I definitely feel much stronger then when I first started and it also helps make me feel better all around. I definitely recommend APF!
