I called ahead and said I was going to be about 10 minutes late for a physical trainer appointment…read moreand they did not say anything about that it's only half hour long maybe you would like to reschedule it?Instead they let me show up and then I asked if I need to change or not and the lady says yeah go ahead I'll let her know you're here and then I go change come back takes me 5 minutes more so it's 15 minutes in then I stand around the front desk waiting for this trainer to show up and the lady is busy stocking the cooler & doesn't pay any attention to me and doesn't tell me where I need to go or anything and apparently she never told the trainer I was there so she was in her office waiting for me but nobody told me where her office was to go there until after I used up my appointment time. So when I finally get back there to talk to her and begin my appointment, at long last, the lady acts like she could care less and says well we have 9 minutes she said like with an attitude of total indifference. I asked if she had an appointment immediately after mine? She says "that's how I work" and her tone was still very uninterested in the fact that I just stopped everything I was doing to come down here, changed my clothes, etc.. She just chews her gum and looked at me like I can't event find the word for how disrespected it made me feel.. yeah I would not recommend Eva to be your physical trainer

That being said this is a great gym. They have a lot of great equipment. They have an indoor track upstairs. They have a golf simulator. They also have a climbing wall. It's a great value, and a tremendous benefit for students, staff, and faculty at North Idaho college. I have not used the climbing wall but it looks super cool. I have not used the golf simulator but I plan to in the near future. I mainly work out upstairs which is where they have the majority of their cardio equipment. The multi-purpose and weight room is downstairs. And they have a lot of free weights as well as machines. There's also a spin classroom downstairs, and two multi-purpose classrooms upstairs. They offer various classes like yoga, spin, general workout, etc. Oh! And there's also a full size basketball court, where people often play basketball but also set up pickleball courts and play pickleball. It's a little confusing to know where to go if you haven't been there before but it's on River avenue across from Cardinal Central. The parking lot is the parking lot behind the molstead library. If you are an NIC student, staff member, faculty member, I would definitely recommend you get a membership and check this place out.

The pool is full of chlorine but obviously that's just a safety hazard to protect against children that swim in the pool. Nothing special about this park for the swim yard but it does bring Brack and memories but I would recommend it for anyone in the area to bring their kids at least once

Paved 0.4 mile loop around the outside. Half-court basketball with four hoops. Horseshoe pits. Playground features two big kid swings and two toddler swings, small climbing wall, and a fairly extensive jungle gym given the size of the park. Playground is fenced in with an exit on each side so it's easier to contain children.
