Amazing place! Right in the center of the dining room there's a huge salad bar where everyone can find something they like -- fresh vegetables, pickles, boiled eggs, dressings, seeds, and more. The fried fish is outstanding -- perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. They also have delicious homemade cakes. The staff and kitchen are very fast and friendly. It really is an old warehouse .. food was great. Steak was tender and delicious, catfish fillet was also great. Jalapeño cornbread and fried pickles were awesome starters too. We had a large party of 13, Allie our server was delightful , attentive and honest. Parking was a real problem on a Friday night here. If you are not a local- and I am not- it can be difficult to find the restaurant. I was glad that our party called ahead to reserve seating, because you can barely get in the door for the line, and there really is literally no where to sit or stand to wait. The salad bar was to die for! This is the reason for the 3 stars. It comes with your meal. The lettuce is finely chopped, which I love. The dressings taste amazing- they have to be homemade! Every topping is available that you could ponder up. I ordered the warehouse chicken and fries. It was so good! I ordered a half & half tea- lots of sugar really hurts my stomach. The 1/2 & 1/2 tea still had SO much sugar in it. If you love really sweet tea, you will be happy!!! Service was really slow. The waitresses seemed to be serving too many tables each. It took time to get refills and things you need with your meal. The bottom line is- if you have lots of time for dinner and hanging out with your party, it is a great place. My wife, some friends and I had an absolutely awesome meal!! The portions were enough for two meals the next day. Our server kept our glasses full which helps me determine what I want to tip!! Went to dinner on August 13th...Friday..should have know better...the warehouse always has a clean stocked salad bar as it was tonight..the last 2 times we've been there my steaks have been tough and stringy..both times left more on my plate than I ate..tonight I decided to try hamburger steak with onion rings..someone other than our server bought out our order..I got baked potato and told her I should have onion rings so she took my plate and returned with some of the worst burnt rings that should have never made it out of the kitchen..I looked at the hamburger steak and it was burnt..needless to say it was sent back..I paid for my wife's meal and we left when she finished..not one time did any member of management came to our table to rectify the problem..I was a district manager for 15 years in restaurant industry and this issue would have never made it that far...this definitely was my last visit to the warehouse..am sure the other steak houses in the area will be more than glad to serve us read more

I have been here before for Christmas parties but this was the first time that we went on our own just to have dinner. We had no problem parking, except it's dark and it was muddy so watch your step. We got to the door and could barely make our way inside. The waiting area/check out area are all the same. It was packed. People were trying to pay and didn't know where the line was or where people were standing waiting to be seated. We got to the hostess to put down our name, and was told it would be 45 minutes. That was not a problem. Then, people were constantly coming in and being seated ahead of us. I finally realized that people had called in and made "reservations". Again, that's fine but they need to tell people that when they take your name so it's understood. We finally were seated and our waitress was pleasant, we both ordered steak and it took over an hour to get our food. We did have the salad bar and when we got our steaks they were cooked to our liking and tasted greAt. We were there for 2 1/2 hours total. So if you have plenty of time , the food is worth it. I would change some logistics. Maybe pay at the table to keep congestion down up front and I would for sure stop with the reservations, unless it's a party. It would move a lot smoother and quicker, with less frustration. As good as the food was, we probably won't go back just because of the crowded area, congestion and chaos of being seated. read more

The food is okay, but I had a very bad experience with a server. The lady took 10+ minutes to bring us our drinks and about 20 minutes to take our order. (It was just two of us dining at our table). Later on into the meal I asked the server for a fresh pack of sour cream. The basket that was on the table had sour cream and butter, but was room temperature and I didn't want to get sick. She argued that it was fine to keep it out (it clearly states to keep it refrigerated on the packaging). Needless to say i never received the fresh/cold sour cream. I was not asked if I wanted dessert (and I did!) I usually try to overlook bad service if it happens once, but the time before when I went service was not good either. I doubt we go back. read more

The first time visiting steaks and service was very good however on second visit steaks were not as good and experienced bad service. We had ordered a surprise B'Day cake from their bakery which was not good. The cake was suppose to be brought out at the end of our meal as one would normally expect instead the waitress brought the cake out when we were only half finished with our meal. She was definitely rushing us to finish, it spoiled the surprise and we ended up taking half of our meal home so I guess the "RUSH IT UP" attitude worked for her but NOT for us.
