We are from out of state and can to get a puppy so we had no idea where to eat and took our chances with this place. It is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is outstanding and the food was even better. We were seated in the basement which reminded me of an old speak easy. It is an old building with rock walls. There was a variety of food. We got more "bar food" but that was even fantastic. I'm sure some of the other plates are even better. The pretzels bites were the best. My sons pizza looked very appetizing. My husband and I got wings and they were cooked perfectly. This is a very charming building and the restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. A friend and I had lunch here on a day when they were doing the Christmas candle-lighting ceremony in Roscoe Village. Our waitress was very helpful when we asked questions about the festivities. I ordered a flatbread pizza, and it was very yummy. My friend was much braver than I was, and she ordered a dish that had a bunch of different things in a bowl (sorry, I don't remember the name of it, and I don't see the dish listed on their online menu). Seems like it was some type of a pork sandwich with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and maybe a few other things. She half-regretted it after she ordered it, not being sure she would like it, but it turned out that she loved it. She commented several times during the meal that it was really delicious. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was really cold, at least in the corner booth where we were sitting. I just wanted so much for the place to feel as cozy as it looked, and being too cold through lunch was a disappointment. read more

Sisters weekend in a Coshocton. Saw The Warehouse from Rt 16 and as we walked through Roscoe Village. We planned to go for a late dinner Saturday evening. Looked on line. Said they were open until 10. We arrived at 9. Only a few tables were occupied on the patio. Sign said "Patio Open" so we went in. We're seated pretty quickly. Our waitress came over. From the onset it was clear she was not happy to have to wait on us--Seemed a little put out. Asked for drink order. Asked for a drink menu-- they don't have one-- a full bar and wine and beer. W gave her drink order. She came back with our waters. Asked if we're were ready to order. Asked for a loaded baked potato. Server responds, *Honey, we're out of baked potatoes. The kitchen closes at 9:30." Again, remember, we arrived at 9. I told her we had read they were open til 10... Yeah but the kitchen closes at 9:30. Seems to me 30 minutes before closing is not really at the last minute. Food came out fast. Typical bar food. Nothing exciting. Such a great looking place. Too bad wait staff is so lacking. Very cool old bar in historic Roscoe Village with great food! We have met here a couple times for business meetings and have sat either downstairs or outside, which gave us a nice, quiet atmosphere for our meeting. The burgers are great, salads are great. We were hoping it would be good but it was not. We asked what they recommended as this was our first time. They said the steaks were great so my husband and I ordered ribeye's. They were so full of fat that you only ended up being able to eat half of it. It had no flavor at all. We ordered the crawfish Mac and cheese. It was so greasy you could not eat it. My husband ordered a salad that we never got. The waitress did good at making sure she was refilling and checking on us. My son had the pulled pork sandwich and he said it was good. Overall very disappointing to spend over 100.00 and have horrible food. The did take the cost of the sale off but not the 18.00 for the Mac and cheese we didn't even eat. The onion appetizer is AWESOME and huge! It could have been the meal. I definitely recommend it. I happened to order a pasta dish with a tomato basil cream sauce. It is a new addition to the menu. I did NOT care for it. There was SO much garlic in it that the garlic was all I could taste and smell (and I ended up smelling like garlic as a result.) It was hard to finish. My boyfriend ordered a Reuben sandwich and loved it. I think they probably are better at some dishes than others. I would go back and try different fare (sandwiches, steaks, fish and chips...). But the pasta dish turned me off. Don't recommend it. The service was adequate. read more

We have been here twice now. Both times we decided to sit outside. Nice, clean patio area. Both times there were two waitresses working out there. They were all very nice and happy to explain the menu. We've ordered a few appetizers but we really liked the crawfish tails. It was a perfect portion for two people. My husband ordered the prime rib both times we went and he loved it both times. I ordered the shrimp and crab cakes. The shrimp part is supposed to be in the cake but I never found any. Another waitress said she would have to check if it was "ok" to wait on me since I had been inside and had brought my drink outside to join my group. 10 minutes later she returned to take the group order. I guess it was OK to help me When I left 2 hours later there was still one table occupied inside. The service was sad but the food was very good. This is my third visit in as many weeks. The burgers are really good, the ribs and wings are really good, the staff is friendly and attentive. But the Rajun Cajun Crawtails are simply not to be missed! As the name suggests the establishment is set in a 19th century warehouse. Yet it's a warm, inviting atmosphere. The owner, John, tries to personally greet as many customers as possible and make sure you're taken care of. A nice selection of beers, a full bar, outdoor seating in the warm months, music in the lower room on the weekends, and banquet room on the third floor. I can't give more than two stars on this place. I will say the food was good but the service was beyond horrific. I realize they had a big party there and only one server for the group, which is beyond ridiculous. No one even acknowledged the 5 of us for about 15 minutes. We ordered drinks and that took another 10 minutes to get them. It took another 10 minutes to place our order. We ordered appetizers which were brought out with the food. The food took 55 minutes to get to our table and only 2 out of the 5 gout our meals. We had to be somewhere so we had to put our food in to go boxes. There is no reason it should have taken an hour and a half to get our orders. I would suggest giving yourselves a lot of time if you're going there for dinner. When I'm in Coshocton on business there are perhaps four good restaurants. We pretty much alternate these four night after night over a couple weeks time. The good: They have a pretty good beer selection. The fish fry is good. Burgers are good. Steak is meh - not great quality but the flavor is good. Sandwiches are good. The bad: Seafood was horrible.. cold scallops, cold shrimp, rubbery stuff on a seafood platter. In general, stay away from the more "fancy" or complex items... this place does the basics well and when I've strayed from the defacto "good" items I've been sorry. As others have posted, in general service is pretty slow. If you are in a hurry I'd advise you try another place. read more
