If you are in Roscoe Village, you HAVE to eat at the Warehouse Steak n' Stein! Their appetizers are amazing. We had the potato skins which have pulled pork in them and are basically a meal on their own. The onion rings are AMAZING. The owner said they are a family recipe that dates back to 1952! So delicious! The dipping sauce is awesome too. Oh, and the wine slushies are something you should try while you are here as well. They are so good! Very friendly staff and great service! On 5/ 14 / 2021 my husband and took family members from out of state to eat at restaurant , we had good food except onion rings were burnt , no problem we ate them . The problem we had was a bad waitress, ( her name is Rebecca B ) asked for extra napkins took 4 times for her to bring them , brought back coffee to refill 3 coffee cups ,but only brought a 1/4 of pot couldn't fill all instead went to another table to help them then came back to fill rest of cups , my son-in - law was empty on his Pepsi she never asked him if he would like more to drink so I had to ask her for a to go cup , she was always looking at clock , was not satisfied with her one bit .My husband and I eat there alot,no problem with any other waitress , The restaurant wasn't busy at all . We walked in and stood by the sign that stated please wait to be seated. Nobody Acknowledged us for about 15 minutes. 10 minutes later a waitress took us to a table. We sat down and started looking over the menu. 20 minutes later the bartender took our drink order. Within minutes we had our drinks. 15 minutes later the bartender took our order. Food came out pretty fast. While we were eating the bartender checked on us probably 8 times. By the time we finished eating we sat for 12 minutes waiting for somebody to see if we wanted the check. We then waited 15 minutes for the check and we waited another 5 minutes for our change. Food was pretty good. It's not the best but it was decent. I will not return to this restaurant. read more

Decided to try a lunch here since I was out and about already. I have had the Crawfish tails and prime rib during dinners here and they were great, decided to try something new today and was craving pasta. The grilled chicken penne was bland beyond belief. I actually tried adding table salt and pepper to it, I have a rule that if you need to add taste at the table while dinning out then the food is not worth the price. This has definitely left an impression, but not one a restaurant should look to leave. The waitress was ok, it didn't seem busy and when she was at the table she was attentive but there were long spaces between visits and an empty cup and extra long bill wait. She also seemed apologetic when taking a full plate back to the kitchen after I declined a box, she did not however ask if there was something wrong or for any input for the chef. My guess is that they know the dry chicken and bland sauce make a horrendous dish, though I am unsure why they would continue to include it on the menu. The fact that they used a regular garden tomato instead of a Roma at least as an addition is tell-tale to the experience level of the chef. The seasoned fries that came with my son's meal were tasty and had me wishing I had chosen something else on the menu. Will probably stick to dinners here, if I ever return. Two stars for horrible food paired with ok staff. read more

I made it back into the restaurant. They did give me a $20 gift card and let me use my buy one get one offer. I ordered the sea scallops and my fiancée ordered the fried shrimp. The shrimp and fries were good. I wasn't a fan of the scallops. I will go back but only for drinks, maybe basic bar foods. There are not many choices in town. Left restaurant without getting food. After waiting over hour with a 2, 5, and 6 year old we still didn't have our food. The waitress was nice and kept apologizing and saying our food will be out any minute. One party had to drive over an hour with kids to get home at 8:36 when we left. Traveling back home and wanted someplace to eat (not a chain). Read online about this place and thought we would stop. It is in Roscoe Village which is cool. The vibe of the restaurant was neat and service was okay. Food was lackluster. I had the pizza burger and fries. It was okay. My hubby had the chicken tenders. He said the sauce they tossed them in was good but the chicken was chewy. He normally eats all his food and only ate two of the four chicken tenders and a handful of fries. I had just driven to Coshocton and was in need of some food when somebody recommended this place. I had heard about it so, off I went. It was a dark and cold night and some snow was still around when I got there so I was not able to see the surroundings. There was a big sign on the outside of the house, but once you entered, you had to guess which way to turn: down a hall or to the right. No sounds could be heard neither were there signs directing the uninitiated. I guessed right and after going though another set of doors found myself in a bar. Upon entering all the way I saw that there were also tables. The decor and tables were rustic, it is supposed to be historic. I was presented with the menu and told the special: bbq ribs. I debated between these and the prime rib, but the other patrons, who all seemed to be locals, recommended the ribs and I decide to follow their advice. They came with sweet potato fries and slaw and were delicious. Unlike any other ribs I have had these are smoked. They were tender, had not been basted in bbq sauce, but it was served on the side to add as needed (sweet and red, I skipped it). I accompanied this with a pinot of unknown brand which was ok. They must store their wines close to a heating duct as it was warmer than room temperature. For dessert I had an apple dumpling which I cannot recommend. The dough was pasty and sweet and covered with a "caramel" sauce making it even sweeter. the apple itself was cooked through and tasty. Took more than an hour to get our food. The "salad" was an embarrassment - a little iceberg lettuce, two rings of onion, and two tiny tomatoes. A medium rare steak was way overdone, grilled chicken could not have been drier, and the rice pilaf wasn't anything but white rice with some sort of sauce over it. The food was mediocre at best, and the service was abysmal. Our waitress was perhaps the most incompetent person on the planet. She served our food, walked away, and didn't care that we had no silverware. We had to hunt someone down to get us some utensils. I want to like this place because we're local, but the owner seemed to not give a care in the world that anything was wrong - and he was on site and making rounds to certain tables. We were never even acknowledged on the way out - no 'thank you' or 'have a nice night!' I would think long and hard before ever coming back here again. read more

Mediocre at best .... Saturday night you expect some slowness from the kitchen being busy. Ok. But the waitress left a bit to be desired herself. One soft drink order was for lemonade but she received root beer instead - how do you manage that?! The waitress just seemed a bit off, maybe she was new to waitressing. Appetizer was delayed being put in. Refills of our drinks went to the wrong table. When we paid she took our receipt and card the stiff there shuffling foot to foot looking around at us before heaving to cash us out. Nothing spectacular on the food either. The spaghetti has no flavor to the sauce. It tasted like straight tomato sauce from a can. The fries with my wrap were tasteless and greasy. The pretzel bun burger looked the most appetizing at our table but she preferred just the bun over the tough hamburger patty. The booths are old straight back and get uncomfortable. Sitting there on a bust night was quite a challenge. $60 for 2 meals, soft drinks, a child's dinner and an appetizer. Spend it elsewhere. read more

The service was slow and nonchalant. The ambience was dark and gloomy. And the fish and chips was SO greasy it slid off my husband's plate so he sent it back and they brought back an even GREASIER piece so he sent it back and declined any further attempts. My husband and I were on our way back from an Anniversary weekend getaway and Historic Roscoe Village was on our way home and our last meal out together before we headed home and to reality . We loved Roscoe Village, so quaint. We saw this restaurant in the heart of this adorable town center and thought how could we go wrong? The atmosphere was great, so historic inside. My food was NOT good. The fried pickles were in a basket with other mystery fried bits and pieces left over from the fryer grease . I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were VERY dry, I swear they tasted like they were a day old and reheated in the microwave. I didn't eat them. The pulled pork sandwich was over cooked too and was hard on the ends like it was microwaved and the buns edges were rock hard! I mean rock hard! I took the meat off the bun and ate it that way. My husband ordered the flatbread pizza and liked it. It looked good. But overall it was a disappointment when half my meal was left. It's a fabulous location and atmosphere they should really take advantage of the place and make the food fit the atmosphere . It could really be a gem if the revamped it. read more

No reception (tourists were leaving because it appeared closed), there were multiple errors with our order, the glasses and plates were quite dirty, no substitutions allowed, the burgers were overcooked, small beer selection, the beer I ordered ran out so they have me a different beer without asking if I'd like it (I didn't), the food was mediocre.... We weren't even there during a rush. I'd stick to appetizers next time (but probably not the onion rings, which was basically a pile of breading and onion scraps). read more

Big disappointment! We waited for almost an hour for a few sandwiches. We got our salads quickly, so we were already committed and didn't realize it would take so long for the rest of the order. When we inquired about our food with our stand-offish waitress, she said she had no idea when the food would be out because they have three areas that one kitchen has to make food for. We visited on 9/21. They were not very busy. The food was very good but the waitress was very slow. We ordered 2 kids meals and 5 adult sandwiches plus some appetizers. I ordered a water and the 4 & 7 year old ordered soda. The waitress brought me a soda also. My husband ordered a extra side and my son's girlfriend said she wanted onion rings with her sandwich. The waitress said that they only come in a basket not as a side so she got the basket but didn't want a side. We got our bill after a long wait and I paid it without looking at it very well. (My mistake) Our bill was $160. When we got out I looked over it and found that they charged $5.00 for each soda, including the kids, which is outrageous and they charged for the side my husband got but didn't take off for the side my daughter didn't get. I know it was my fault for not looking over the bill and saying something to them while we were in there but I feel they really took advantage of us. Don't know if the over pricing was the restaurant policy or the waitress just did this trying to get a bigger tip. read more

Absolutely terrible. I downloaded this app just to express how bad this place really is. I ordered a steak medium rare and it was burnt to a crisp with an awful charred taste. Their almost $10 Mac and cheese has residue of powdered cheese on the bowl and had the worst after taste. I'd rather listen to the new Five finger death punch album while being trampled by a bunch of 9 year olds doing Fortnite emotes, than ever come back to that pile. We have been to the Warehouse many, many times. It is a family favorite. We love sitting on the outside patio in the summer and watching the people walk around Roscoe Village. They have great food and wonderful help. Be sure to try the onion rings! read more

Not many dishes to accommodate people with food allergies. The food looks great on the menu but is not cooked like it should be. Many times food is bland or even burnt. But it is one of the few restaurants in the area and is probably why it is still open. The bar however is great for drinks and appetizers. read more

Husband and I drove into Coshocton for a dinner date. The warehouse was a cute place, dark and comfortable. Hostess was very friendly. Our waitress was nice, but seemed either very busy or maybe slightly new? She did a fine job, just seemed a little aloof. I ordered a drink from the bar that she wasn't familiar with, so the bartender herself came to talk to me, and I ended up with a delicious drink (Actually, two :)). The pickle chips were delicious. I ordered the salmon dinner with mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked just right and mashed potatoes were great. Husband ordered steak with potato, added bacon and cheese to the potato, but it didn't come on it. We just had it taken off our bill at the end of our meal. The food I thought may have been a little overpriced, but everything did taste well. I would probably recommend this place to a friend if they were headed to the area. read more

I felt like we were a major inconvenience to our waitress who never once smiled and only stopped by when absolutely necessary. Sloooow service and they weren't busy. Our server Krissy, didn't know about what beers they had. She said she doesn't drink so she doesn't know anything. We ordered a Y-Bridge beer but they poured us Bud light. We asked if someone else knew about beer and she walked away. About 10 minutes later another server came over and all she said they had 3 Ohio micro but only knew the brewery names. Krissy brought our samples about 10 minutes later. St Patrick's Day night 2017 the name really does not match the food or drinks so if you're German happened to being Coshocton don't let the name fool you. They said us at a high table in front of the door on a cold snowy evening the wind blew in cold air the whole time. Atmosphere was very Lively so Lively and fax my companion and I could not carry a conversation without having to repeat ourselves. My companion ordered a medium steak and it was came to him almost Raw. Well I ordered the steak salad they came to me with five round pieces of steak too big for one bite but not enough to finish the salad. I wasn't given a salad a steak knife so is hard to cut with a butter knife. Waitress was friendly refilled my husband's drink and forgot my drink in the back. Food came out timely the best thing we had that was awesome was the mozzarella sticks; a little on the high end as far as pricing. read more
