I have always had mixed feelings about flowers and death. I tend to associate them with happier times. I would much rather take a nice meal and a bottle of adult beverages to the family and talk about good times. You can't always do that these days with everyone living here, there and yonder so you try to do something that will at least make someone smile. This florist could not have been more helpful. They got the order out quickly and as you can see, they are just gorgeous. So befitting a young man who fibbed about his age and at 16 joined up to serve our country in WWll. The arrangement I ordered for $75+ actually looked like a $-10 arrangement. I am still apologizing to the recipient for the horrible and embarrassing birthday gift. I ordered a happy birthday mylar that was not included. I had to ask where it was. I was told since I did not get delivery, it would be included for free. What? I paid for it! I looked around the shop and noticed what looked like a blood-soaked mattress propped against the wall. I will tell you what. My husband sent me some flowers today to cheer me up after a really bad day yesterday. When I got them, I noticed the water was very dirty, and the flowers looked a little old and beat up. There were also hard water lines on the inside of the vase where the water had evaporated over the last few days/week. This was clearly an old bouquet, either made for someone else and not used, or maybe for a display in the store, and then they just used it for my arrangement.... without even bothering to put the flowers in clean water. I ordered the Basket of Cheer (i think). The website was easy to navigate and placing an order was easy as well. My daughter was pleased and sent me a photo of the arrangement. It was about what i expected and i was happy to see many of the lilies were buds, meaning that the basket will look prettier the longer she has it rather than be perfect on delivery day and fade right away. A hidden gem! I walked into this store looking for some premade bouquets as I am throwing a baby shower in less than 24 hours and completely procrastinated on flowers. I know nothing about flowers so I was vague with what I wanted. They took me to the back and created two beautiful flower arrangements in under 15 minutes. I wish I got the guy's name who created the arrangement. The flowers are absolutely stunning! I am so glad I stopped in! The staff were so helpful and friendly. I had to trust that they would do a good job and provide a quality arrangement. Joey, the owner assured me that all would be great. He far and away exceeded all my expectations! Very disappointed. Ordered flowers to an elderly friend on the passing of her husband of 40 years. Due to a snow storm and cold weather, the florist insisted on speaking with the recipient before even trying to deliver the flowers. I can *kind of* understand that, however, when they told me they had left her 3 messages and would continue to try to reach her before attempting delivery, I was appalled. And my main disappointment came when i asked if they would simply stop the effort altogether and refund my money. They explained that I'd have to talk to 800flowers.com (which is who I paid) and about a refund. Ok--understandable. What is not understandable is the combative tone of the Warrenton Florist and the insistence that they were committed to customer service and would continue to try to contact the recipient so that they could deliver the flowers. I asked them to stop all attempts immediately and to stop bothering the woman who was grieving, and they insisted that they would continue to try. Seems to me like they wanted to put the cost of their product ahead of what's in the best interest of the recipient. And the combative tone was appalling. Warrenton Florist seems to have a good reputation, so, I'm very surprised by the treatment I received. read more

Dad sent me/us here to get a birthday African Violet for mom. He said it has the best in town! We didn't have too many choices, but i guess may in virginia is not the best time to be wanting this type of flowers, so we were happy to have the one they had! They gussied it up, put a bow and a bird on it and we were out the door! Warrenton Florist created a bouquet for an informal family burial service yesterday. They delivered it on time at the cemetery and the flowers were fresh and beautiful. Despite being in and out of my car with multiple events during the day, by the time I got them home, they were still beautiful. The roses had opened some and the lilies were just beginning to open, so I expect to enjoy the flowers for some time. read more

Great guys , super friendly and they do fantastic arrangements. very cozy little shop with all kinds of extras . My husband paid $60.00 for a bouquet of Roses and carnations that I wouldn't have paid $10 for. It was a third of the size of the one in the pic that he paid for, wrong vase. I never said anything about the size of the arrangement but even my husband, who never complains, came home apologizing and told me that those flowers were not what he ordered. This was the WORST experience I have EVER had with a florist. The owner called to confirm an address and was one of the RUDEST individuals I have ever had to deal. The flowers were for a couple with a sick child in the hospital. When I told him I could give him the directions (since the street was a new construction and not on MapQuest yet) he didn't want to hear it. He stated that he would only speak with the couple. Even though, when I ordered on a vendor website that they USE, I had the option to place MY number for delivery confirmation if I wanted the delivery to be a surprise. Well of course I wanted the flowers to be a surprise and most importantly, I didn't want to bother the couple with delivery logistics while they were sitting at their in the hospital at their child's BESIDE. They've already been flooded with calls, they do need any more. He did not care, got angry, and then canceled my order and hung up on me, even AFTER I offered to give him the couple's number. When I called back, I was told I had to deal directly with the vendor proflowers,com (whom I've now been placed on hold with for over 20 mins) and there was nothing they could do, even though The Warrenton Florist are the ones who canceled the order. I just wanted to do something nice and this experience has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE thanks to The Warrenton Florist. If I could give ZERO STARS I would. It would have been nice if I had be given the option to have it delivered to the hospital if they refused to do a home delivery without speaking to the couple first. However, The Warrenton Florist was unprofessional and seemed to NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS AT ALL! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER! read more

I received the most beautiful, elegant, professionally made bouquet from Teresa's shop, (sent from my sister-in-law,Trina) on my B.D. Feb 29th. Having been a florist myself, I know quality and specialty of service. The delivery was a wonderful experience as well. Received flowers from The Warrenton Florist on January 24 as a get well gift and they are still standing after almost two weeks! It is a mixed bouquet with chrysanthemums, carnations, golden rod, delphinium, 2 red roses and alstroemeria. Yes, I changed the water often and cut off a piece of the stems after 5 days. After a week I started pulling out the spend flowers one by one, but after 13 days it still looks good! I highly recommend this florist for the superior quality of the floral martial. Extremely disappointed in their customer service. Ordered a casket spray for my father's funeral although there was limited stock based on the salesman's pressure and reassurance the arrangement would be great. The salesman's wife and son were in the store waiting for him to finish up with us and were visiting with each other when we walked out the door. My Mom and I went across the street, dropped off music for my father's funeral service and returned within minutes to cancel the order since there weren't enough yellow roses (my Dad loved yellow roses, sunflowers and daisy and that's what we wanted for his casket spray ~ they had only 7 yellow roses in stock). The salesman didn't know how to reimburse my credit card but assured me all funds would be returned. Weeks later I contacted my credit card company and disputed $315.90 charge since the sale was cancelled. Told funds would be refunded.by a salesman that didn't know how to do all facets of his job but since I didn't have a "credit receipt" only a portion of my funds were returned. It a shame I was charged $$ for nothing ~ no work performed, nothing received but bad customer service. read more
