I mentioned it to my husband after a while and he tried to unclog it with a plunger -_- I went downstairs to the basement to get something out of our freezer and there was water dripping literally all over, right under where the sink is above. At that point it was well after five and I searched for emergency services, I got ahold of someone who referred me to Go 2 Guys. They picked up right away and were at an event feeding the homeless, I felt terrible for asking for help, but they agreed to come out and help us after we explained what was going on, even though they were busy, it was after hours and the day before a major holiday. Go 2 Guys was a literal life saver I can't imagine how much it would have cost to fix monday if they had not come out and resolved our issues. So grateful and what they charged us, a family of six with four children, on a fixed income, was so generous considering the time, day and situation. Umpqua water potable for domestic consumption. Unfortunately, a log destroyed the River intake that first winter. I called them to come back to develop a seasonal system for summer use instead of the permanent system that was too risky to count on. They assured me they would be back. I texted. I emailed. I called. Over and over. I was told they would return but after months of asking and waiting they never showed. Our new house was close to being completed and we had no water for it. I contacted a different company and they really bailed us out of the hole that Gilbert Pump left us in. I'd see the Gilbert truck often drive by to do jobs on our street, but they chose to not return. I was always considerate and kind whenever I communicated with the office manager about our need for further services from them. I paid them in full. The water treatment system they installed works fine so they can do good work when they make themselves available. Our new seasonal system was the right solution and it is functioning well with the filtration system Gilbert installed. We now use rain capture over the winter months with 5000 gal of storage and install the seasonal system once it quits raining. It is still very perplexing why Gilbert pump left us high and dry. There seems to be internal "issues" with this company.

They didn't tell us we would be required to have yearly inspections, but when we found out a year later, we did it. It was costly. The following year, since their yearly inspection and maintenance costs were so expensive, we specifically asked them if it would hurt our warranty if we went somewhere else for our maintenance that had to be kept up once a year in order to maintain the warranty. They assured us it would be fine to get it maintained elsewhere, that it won't affect our warranty at all. What they didn't tell us was as soon as we did that, our life-time guaranty with them -- with Addcox -- was considered void. We found out just now, after 3 1/2 years, that, "Oh, well, your units are no longer guaranteed with us because you went somewhere else for your yearly inspection and maintenance." Wow. Really? How convenient for them. They should have been upfront. I feel I was lied to.

Several months later, I ran an unfiltered line to my chicken coop & found yellow/brown water in the line. I called the plumber to pull water for the hose bibs before going through the filter/softener. This is when I found yellow/brown water running out my hose bibs. I then called Southern Oregon Water Wells to come out & fix their problem of sucking unacceptable water from the well. They sent out a man who fixed the problem by removing 20 feet of line, thereby raising the well pump 20 feet & solving the problem of dirty water. THEN Southern Oregon Water Wells tried to invoice me for fixing their error of setting the well pump too low. The owner screamed and swore at me over the phone, that if I did not pay the bill, he would never work on my well again. That was just fine with me. There are other well diggers that are far better & ethical. I want to post a couple photos but I don't see how.
