It needed a lot of work and I got it all done at a very fair price. The person doing the work took care to discuss all the options with me so I could get the best value for my money. I really appreciate that. Some bike shops don't go that extra mile. Finally the got all the repairs done quick. It took only a day. However, I did have to schedule it a couple weeks in advanced. Since no prices were displayed in the store, I asked for clarification and was told via Instagram (in writing from the owner) that the "Ranger S" was priced at $1,199. This also matched the sale price on the manufacturer's website at the time. As a matter of fact, this model is still on sale for $1,299 with free accessories. So this is even more insult to injury. The $1,199 price (on the manufacturer's website) also included free accessories, but I did not press the issue. When I returned on July 22 to purchase, I was charged $1,499 instead of $1,199--an overcharge of $300 before tax. I immediately asked for the adjustment, but the owner has failed to issue a refund despite multiple messages and even an in-person follow-up. Weeks later, I've received no communication and no resolution. I even offered to spend the additional $300 in the store - still no reply. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. If a business cannot honor its own listed prices--or even return a simple message--it should raise red flags. There are no return policies printed on the receipt or posted on their website. Avoid shopping here unless you want to risk being overcharged and ignored.
