I got there promptly after our phone call and I saw they were already busy taking care of customers. They were quick and it was my turn for a bike repair. He took a look and pulled my bike on up. Told me what I really needed and pricing. Got me in an out for half of the original quote which wasn't much in the first place. He also checked other parts of my bike and tire pressure. They were here to help and running a great business. I will be back. They made my day and I'm back on the trails again!

He was so apologetic for the issue because he tuned up the bike. He didn't need to be that apologetic but it shows the level of care they have at Matthews and their guarantee stands. Especially for a guy like me who rides a good bit but doesn't like the mechanical stuff, Matthews is top notch. Also got a fitting last year from Mike and it was well worth it.

Ive passed Bicycle Hospital many many times and they have been in business for years. I had a second wheel so I switched out and dropped my wheel off on a Wed with a gentleman with a beard. He was friendly and said no problem to fix. It was ready to pick up Friday but I didn't go till Saturday. Walked in and the female employee knew I was there for my wheel. Cost me 20$ to fix something I couldn't and would have cost me triple any other place. They must be doing something right to be in business so long. My bike will need a tune up this fall and I plan on taking it here.

One of the Best Experiences I've Ever Had!…read more We recently participated in a team scavenger hunt with Pedego Electric Bikes Indy and it was an absolute blast! As someone who hadn't ridden a bike in over 20 years, I was a little nervous -- but the electric bikes were incredibly easy to maneuver and so much fun to ride! Scot and Cathy, the wonderful owners, made the entire experience smooth, welcoming, and memorable. Their kindness and passion for what they do really shines through. I'm new to Indy, so solving the clues and discovering local landmarks added an extra layer of excitement. Chatting with Scot and Cathy to see if we guessed correctly made our victories even sweeter! And of course, I can't forget the real stars of the show -- Hamilton and Schuyler, the adorable "employees of the month," who greeted us with wagging tails and made us feel right at home. Matt and Moe were lifesavers! As an out-of-towner who annually covers the Indy 500 for two-plus…read moreweeks, I've eschewed rental cars and instead have become dependent on riding a cheap bike up to 12 miles daily. I panicked, however, when my derailer broke midday Tuesday. Matt's shop was the closest. I Ubered there and Matt, despite being busy, took the time to give a quick assessment. In the end, instead of fixing my Big Box cheapo, I ended up paying $100 for a used Schwinn classic in excellent condition, (including new tires). They even transferred my cage pedals and bell to the new wheels. Very happy! Will be sure to return as needed in future years.
