I have sensitive skin and have dealt with ingrown hairs, and Monique has always taken the time to educate me on what products I should be using and how to properly care for my skin between appointments. The ear waxing process was also much more painful than I've experienced before, and during it, wax got into the hair near my ear. After several minutes of trying to remove it with some kind of liquid, the only solution ended up being cutting that piece of hair off because the wax wouldn't come out. It's basically a big ball of melted sugar and some lemon juice that gets smoothed on your skin and rolled off. No strips or burning. Jen is great. She asks me about my weekend plans, my family, etc. to distract from the pain (yes it still hurts, but not as bad as waxing, I swear!). She's so fast and doesn't have to go over the same area over and over. She has great hours. She's an independent businesswoman who runs a clean and honest practice. What more do you need?

They are pretty fast and normally the wait isn't too long. The only reason why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes they would cut my eyelid a bit while threading I have a lot of baby hair underneath my eyebrows so sometimes it can get tricky. But, overall they do a good enough job for me to keep on coming back. They also have a loyalty program where if you get 10 services you get one free. The vibe in the store is pretty chill. They usually play Indian music in the background.

I knew the only way to get rid of it was to get electrolysis.. which honestly was the best decision ever! The location is fabulous of Silky Touch. It's in a very safe and quiet area with lots of parking, a secure building and a very very VERY clean treatment room. I completed 10 1 hr sessions over the course of 11 months and now my chin, sideburns and upper lip are all hair free! ROMA IS INCREDIBLE!!! She is incredibly meticulous and extremely detail oriented.
