I've been going to Monique at Radiant Waxing for a little over a year now, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! From my very first appointment, she has always made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. As a bigger girl, waxing, especially Brazilians and glutes, was something I was initially very nervous and self-conscious about. Monique has never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged in any way. She creates such a safe and positive environment that I actually look forward to my appointments with her. She radiates so much positive energy, has an amazing attitude, and is so easy to talk to. She holds a conversation effortlessly and makes the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. While her waxing skills are absolutely amazing, her people skills are truly through the roof. Monique puts 110% effort into every service she provides and has incredible attention to detail. I get Brazilians and glutes done with her, and she always takes the time to go back over everything and make sure she gets every single hair. I never feel like she is rushing through an appointment just to get to the next client. She is also extremely knowledgeable about esthetics and skincare. I have sensitive skin and have dealt with ingrown hairs, and Monique has always taken the time to educate me on what products I should be using and how to properly care for my skin between appointments. You can tell that she genuinely knows her craft and cares about getting the best possible results for every client. Monique's dedication is also incredible. Even throughout her pregnancy, she continues to show up and give her clients the same amazing level of service, which says so much about her work ethic, drive, and commitment to the people who trust her with their services. I wish I lived closer to this location! I was supposed to have a wax in the dublin for a morning apt but got canceled last minute. My last review this place was called "Lunchbox." It's been Radiant Waxing for a while now. Still the best place and I'm still a loyal customer. The entrance is nice and clean, the rooms are clean, they always have a fresh cover on the beds with a towelette ready for you. The staff is always gracious and professional. There is always someone there to greet you when you walk in. Appointment times are always kept. I have been seeing Estephanie for years! She's the best! Always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I love that they don't push products on you but they are definitely knowledgeable if you have any hair growth questions. read more

I have been coming here for years, even when it was lunch box, and never had a problem, until now. So I'm giving them 3 stars but normally I would give 5 stars (if this was my first or second time, it would be 1 star and I would not return). I come in once or twice a year, usually before a beach type vacation to get my back waxed. They have always had someone at the front desk when I walk in, but not this last visit. Let me mentioned before getting into it, the place is always clean, the entrance, Hallway and wax rooms. The wax service is always fast, professional and as relaxing as it can be getting waxed. I never had a scheduling problem until now either. This last experience was not good. I arrived at 1030 my scheduled time, but no one was at the front desk, but I could hear someone talking on the phone in the room behind the desk. I waited 5 minutes figuring they would come out, but no, so I start to ask if anyone here? No response for 2-3 min, so I asked again, then a lady with black and purple hair comes out of the room and say someone will be right with me and turns back around into the room to continue to talk on the phone, as if I was bothering her at work!! Then a few minutes later, another person comes out from down the hall (I think she was actually with a client) and asked if I have been helped, I said no and told her my appointment was at 1030, she tells me the appointment was at 1040 (this was at 1042, already past my apparently rescheduled appointment) and said someone will be with me shortly. Then the other lady that was talking on the phone comes out from the room behind the desks. I sat there about 5 more mins until my wax person arrives, say sorry for being late, and gets ready (it appears they changed the appointment because the wax person was running late), they never told me they changed the appointment time (no text like all the other notifications, which I like from this place). The appointment was never changed on the website, only locally, maybe they just lied for her, and told me 10:40. Oh and no one ever came out of the room behind the desk after the phone call lady, while I was waiting for my room to be ready. It was clearly a personal call at work and she didn't want to be bothered at work. At the end, I still tipped, against my better judgement, a lower 10% rather that the usually 20%. The wax person was late, but apologized. I think I will return because up until this time it has been great, but not sure. read more

Turning a brief inconvenience into a public takedown doesn't make the business look bad -- it highlights how unforgiving and unrealistic some customers have become. If this is the worst thing you've experienced here after years of good service, that actually speaks volumes about the quality of the staff. Not every moment needs to be escalated into a Yelp saga. I signed up last night for more information on the new guest BOGO services and was booked with an appointment within 15 minutes. I got waxed today by Antonella and she was made the experience extremely quick and as painless as possible. She was very professional and welcoming. I hate to bring up other salon chains but I really have to admit this one is way better than European Wax Center. They use soft wax, which I feel is more gentle than hard wax. The salon is very clean and I look forward to coming back. After my appointment I was booked for my free appointment in 6 weeks. Smart concept to have new customers come back again to see if this is the right salon for them! read more

So I was determined to hate my experience. I was at home and did not want to pay someone for something I thought I could just do myself for "free". Honestly I was just trying to get cute for my anniversary weekend with my man. But oh my gosh, then I met Katie! She had me in stitches giggling the whole time, she was precise with her technique but also very flexible when I needed a break or an accomidation (my legs in butterfly hurt after too long). Not only did Katie give great company but she sent a hand written personalized postcard when I didn't come back in a while! I mean how sweet is she to remember the little things we spoke about during our time together. Absolutely amazing and heart warming little miss you note. HOWEVER they have this vacuum.... it's dying and needs to be replaced. Cause they ran it and I could hear it screaming for mercy in my room. Just get a new Dyson and put that thing to rest, please.
