Almost one year ago I got my first waxing: the back of my neck and a Brazilian. I attached some pictures (of my neck... ) here. The first time I went, I was worried and nervous about how it would be since this was my first time ever, but Caitie made me comfortable, and it wasn't painful at all. It was just 1,2,3 and my hair was gone. In fact, the more you get waxed, the thinner your hair grows back, so it gets less and less painful over time. Even after you leave, if you have questions, she is very responsive to text messages. I tend to be a perfectionist--very picky and critical about everything--but she is always nice to me and responds to my texts professionally. Another great thing is she gives 50% off for a first time customer, so if you just want to try it, you can give a shot to see if you like or not. I wrote a review after the first session with her for a Brazilian and brow wax, and needed to follow up with a review for her skincare services since I'm so happy with the results. On a whim, this mom decided it was time to get my brows done and start feeling more like myself again! To my surprise, I was able to get in same day on a Saturday with Caitie for a brow wax and tint. Unfortunately, my 4 month old did not stay asleep like I had hoped and tried to plan for. Caitie was so understanding when I had to tend to baby, she even helped fix her bottle when my brows were being tinted. After the tint, baby had a blowout ‍ Again, Caitie was so understanding and let me pause the appointment to get her changed and cleaned up. During the change, some of the formula from baby's bottle spilled on Caitie's chair... I felt awful. I apologized over and over. A simple, or what I thought would be simple, appointment for some self care turned into baby needing something every few minutes. I've been to three different wax places and had probably about 4-5 different girls give me a brazilian, and I must say....my experience with Caitie was for sure the most comfortable and enjoyable of them all. Is that weird saying the word "enjoyable" when describing a brazilian? Haha oh well...what I mean is that she really knew how to make me feel relaxed and calm during the entire procedure. I also got my lower legs waxed for the very first time and I actually really liked it. It did not hurt one bit and includes the knees and toes! She uses hard wax for everything so the pain is very minimal if even at all. She's obviously knowledgable about skin care and treatment from the way she talks about the products she uses and why she applies them. It was nice hearing her explain everything she was doing and giving details on the benefits of her methods. Along with waxing services she also provides facials! This really piqued my interest because lately I've been having some skin issues and she was kind enough to give me some information on why my skin was reacting a certain way and what she could do in the future to help. She even let me take home a couple of samples to test out the products and see if they worked. I didn't get the pushy sales vibe from her or anything, I just felt a genuine connection that she actually wanted to help. A full priced brazilian is $60, but if you are a returning customer and make an appointment online without cancelling I believe you get $10 off...but don't quote me on that. Also, if you get a membership you're given a discount as well, I think it was also $10 off but again...not 100% sure. I've been to a much more expensive waxing establishment and honestly, I think Caitie outshines that place by miles. Going to her is much more personal and you can tell that she cares about the quality of her service and takes her time to get everything done perfectly. I've also been to a cheaper waxing establishment and although the price was significantly less, I think I'd still prefer to go to Caitie because of how much more professional she came off. What a fantastic experience! I have always had such a hard time finding someone who listens to what I want done to my eyebrows, but that problem is now in the past! Caitie is fantastic. She exceeded my expectations! I am a perfectionist who used to get my brows waxed and then sat in my car for 10-15 minutes after fixing them to my liking. Spa and salon closures happened right as I was due for some overall waxing, so I made a trip to CDA where everything was still open at the time. I chose Caitie's business based off her glowing Yelp reviews and I was not let down at all! Not only did I witness her take every precaution and then some as far as sanitation on top of routine cleanliness, she was one of the fastest and most painless waxers I've worked with (and I am religious about waxing over shaving and have been since I first tried it). She only used hard wax and even went down the leg as well after going against the hair growth's direction. Prices are fair and pretty standard in comparison to other estheticians and she has "memberships" to save a little money by having a monthly charge that covers multiple treatments (facials, different areas for waxing, etc) that you can find on the website.
