I am just passing though NJ, but after some Google search I found this salon. It was close to me and the cost seemed reasonable on their website (135+ for bayalage). Which is totally normal for my hair, it's usually 250 after tip. My salon experience cost me 414 after tip, which is mind blowing-I was so flawed over the price my hair color didn't hit until the next morning. I shouldn't have offered to pay before the service was over, I was just being kind so the owner didn't have to come back and close up after us. I never got a recept or a breakdown of what I was charged for. I have a feeling I was charged for additional services I didn't ask for, nor should have been warranted for a bayalage. I had Yngrid as my stylist and I LOVE how she cut and thinned my hair, but she missed the mark on the color after showing her pictures and telling her how I wanted it. Ultimately my hair was just highlighted an ugly gray color, it was "glazed," which I've never had done, and a root treatment...the point of a bayalage is that it doesn't start at the root, which I had stated in the chair...I wanted it to start a few inches from my root. Therefore a root treatment should have never been needed to "blend" the color. While I was also getting my hair done a client came in because she was not happy of the color of her hair. If I had time I would have gone back to have them tone it but I'm on the go and work late. I took time out of work to have my hair done (it was very over due). Overall this salon over charges for services, and it seems like the artists just do their own thing. If you can't simulate the style in the photos don't do the hair!

I TIPPED HIM $50 ... only to go home to find roots and underneath were missing color and not dyed at all. i had a 3 almost black on red hair... very noticeable... i had strangers telling me! needless to say i had to DRIVE AN HOUR A THIRD TIME JUST TO CORRECT THE ORIGINAL SERVICE AND TO BE EASY I LET HIM DO A BASIC SOLID COLOR DESPITE SPENDING 140+$75 and tip..... 3 months later THIS TIME- i need my color redone. i booked for 5 pm and got a call at about 1:30 that john had cancelations and to head over right away that he will take me sooner. so i changed other scheduled appointments around to attend my hair appointment sooner and moved them later.... thinking i would get in sooner and get out sooner since the receptionist said i would be his next client..... i was in for a solid color dye this time. instead he sis my dye and then circulated me in between clients and other peoples services while i waited in between.. rinsed me out and i reminded him i have an hour to drive in torrential rain.... despite that he did a woman's hair cut while i waited.... claiming the conditioner needed me to sit under the dryer for 30 minutes.... it is almost 5:30 pm at this point..... and as it got darker and the rain was getting worse i started to panic that by time i was done it would be bad driving home.... thankfully he started my hair cut.... then another client walks in and although all i needed was a blow out he claimed i needed to sit under dryer while he did another haircut who just walked in.... another 20-25 minutes... he said to "let my hair get flat" while the conditioning was needed i still wanted volume in my hair rather than a greased down slick look... i was getting the blow out for volume.... he trimmed my bangs but would not dry them so that i could see if they are even/how it is supposed to look. just took other client.... when i explained i had a very long drive and was worried about the rain and that i did not want my hair to be flat he started to become very nasty..... when the client wad finished he took his payment then asked me to finally sit down to be dried because i was sitting there wet waiting just to be blown out..... then noticed the roots are again uneven and lighter than the rest of my hair like again they did not get saturated/coated evenly down to the root... some are red some are dark 3 brown....... im about to cry at this point bc somehow he bacame nasty yelling at me as if it was MY fault that the same careless issue occurred and its been over 3 hours already and it needed to be re-dyed and he left literally no time to fix it... clearly he did did not have time to fix it... so he said just dry it more and see... i chalked it up to a loss that i would just deal with uneven color and get out of there. i simply just asked if he could wet my hair again to put the volume back so its not flat and greasy looking and he responded very nastily.... when i explained that the receptionist told me to come earlier and i arrived at 3:30 i didnt expect to be out almost 3.5 hours and that i moved my earlier appointments to 7:30 pm thinking i would come sooner and he would get me out sooner.... (he instead used the time to do clients in between each step of my service) he said "OH STOP. i cant deal with the aggravation i waited for you.... i do extra time than i should for you.......... (i got there 2.5 jours earlier than my original appointment time) and somehow a 1.5-2 hour service turned into 3 hours... he became so nasty i said ok well i do not have to come back...... he refused to even trim my bangs correctly after cutting chunks out of them.... and honestly this is a blessing in disguise. highlights start centimeters out from root, 3 separate bad dye jobs. 2 appts cur mid service bc of overbooking and a completely lopsided haircut... no service is good because they are burnt out and do not care anymore it was time to leave when owner started blaming clients for careless mistakes during the service while still taking their money. he was tipped $50 in an uneven dye just to claim he gave me a "free service" to dye uneven roots he left the week prior. Deysi got $30 tip just to dye my roots and tell me to come back to finish weeks later. about 8 hours wasted just driving in 6 months . not worth it!

I was coming here weekly for three and a half months now for blowouts, due to a shoulder injury and difficult to straighten hair. I also had my hair colored three times. I saw Jenn H mostly, but also CeCi Jones a few times when Jenn was out. Well, one day, 8/15/26 at my 3 pm (owner - check your cameras as I see you did in another review you replied to), CeCi was blow-drying my hair, and suddenly I smelled hair burning. So did the manager Lysa, the other stylist Katherine, and the blonde receptionist. They all mentioned it and started walking around looking to find the source of the smell. I was literally the ONLY client in that room. I told them several times that it was coming from me, but CeCi kept denying it. So instead of coming to check my hair, they let it go. Very nice. I couldn't deal with the confrontation as I'm not well, and went home. It seemed fine. I came back the following Saturday for a blowout with Jenn. She didn't mention anything was wrong with my hair, yet when I went home, the hair at my temple was completely burned off. So CeCi started the job, weakend my hair and Jenn finished it off, as Michelle the manager explained and as did a stylist I spoke to from another salon. I came back another time and spoke with Michelle, the other manager. She was super nice and apologetic, and went to speak to both stylists, who of course lied to her face and denied everything. Absolutely shocking. Well Michelle offered to do a free color and blowout with a bonding treatment, as well as another free blowout. I agreed. It was with Jenn unfortunately. Jenn continued to burn more of my hair off at my temples and all around my face on both occasions. And to top it all off, she missed a bunch of grey hairs right at my part, and who knows where else. How do you miss bright silver hair on top of my head at my part, when my hair is so dark brown that it's almost black? It's like it was on purpose. I am so upset, I cannot believe I gave her two chances and each time, she completely ruined all my hair. I never should have tipped her. And not only that, but the products used at this salon are no name cheap garbage. My hair used to be so healthy and shiny before I came to this salon. The salon always has a positive and upbeat atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I always get my hair dyed, cut, and colored. Sometimes I opt for a straight look, while other times I go for curls. My go-to hairstylist is Sobeida, and I trust the shampoo and conditioner they use, which get with Estefania. They're both fantastic! This salon is bilingual, and the prices are very reasonable. I've seen so many people come and go with different hairstyles, so it's great that they offer so many options.
