What a great find! We were looking for a place to hang out while waiting for our take out order at a local Thai place and practically next door was this little gem. I'm not a beer drinker but I'm always willing to give something a try. Well, I found a beer I love! Everyone is so friendly. We aren't local but they sure made us feel like it. It's just a nice place to be. They have growler refills, a very well stocked bottle shop with an impressive selection of unique beverages and they offer a 6 pack discount.

Oh hello, seaside!!!

Not bad at all!! And dog friendly! Seaside is a sleepy little ghost town right now since it's not summer!! And it is very cold, very wet and very windy!! I've been here for almost all seasons. January is their slowest. Though we barely got the last room at the hotel so it's not that empty. But it is hard to find doggy friendly spots. My puppy loves running on the beach for sunset but after that, the non stop rain got us soaked. Went to a few spots before passing by this! The lady behind the counter was so nice! Saw us soakedddd and she let us in. She knew my question too: Is he allowed inside? She said yes! Here's the rule. They have a rule sheet: pretty simple. Keep your dogs leashed! Do not let them sit on the tables and don't get in fight. Baci's good with all that! So viola! They have beers on tap! Pretty spot, big-ish, bright, open! And of course, they have wine. Prices are so beyond reasonable. My glass of wine was $6! I cant even get happy hour wine for that price in seattle!! Nothing under $10 per glass on happy hour! And, no tax! Yey oregon! We sat and had a drink or two. Met pretty old and funny local people too. Even shared their war stories! And their interesting jobs! Best part: dog friendly! Super affordable prices! And good wine list. it's right by the promenade. I'm sure it's crazy pack in summer but we loved our pretty chill January/post holiday vibes! Will be back.

Dog friendly and great selection of taps, bottles, cans, and CBD.

The Whet Spot was a very welcome find on the coast! They have a great selection of beers with ample seating in a comfortable environment. Plus the staff was really friendly. I was particularly happy to see that they had a great selection of CBD drinks and that they were dog friendly. I will be back every time I visit Seaside!

Cool small spot to grab a few beers from all over Oregon. Only a few minutes walk away from the beach, this small establishment features great beers before or after visiting the beach. There are cards and board games provided so it is good for groups too. The caveat here is that any minors under 21 are not allowed, so no kids! Prices are fair and the owner does a good job of welcoming you. Great place to stop by!

Cans and bottles of beer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic to drink there or to go.

We were just a few out of town visitors looking for a low key spot to enjoy a decent drink. This place was exactly what we were looking for after enjoying some Thai food from the neighboring restaurant. The Whet Spot is an awesome tap room and bottle shop featuring local brews and wines. The knowledgeable bartender was hospital, welcoming and gave us some great advice on other breweries and taprooms to check out in neighboring towns. She offered complimentary small half ounce tasters so we could make sure we were in even though larger tasters are available on the menu. Great vibes all around! I'll be back next time I'm in Seaside.

Per recommendation of front desk at RiverTide Suites we tried this place out. Not disappointed,…read moreservice was friendly, good amount of seating indoors and out and partially out as we were. Outdoor has large tables with fireplaces which would be great for large groups. We started with the fast fried Calamari, which was a good amount with both rings and tentacles. Wife had the Cioppino while I had the Seafood Pasta. The Cioppino was a bit pricey; however, was loaded with seafood and included some king crab which we had not seen at other places we have had the dish. The Seafood Pasta was rich and also loaded with seafood. Would certainly recommend if searching for seafood. Note: when we came at 6pm on a Monday we were told there was a 20min wait. We walked around the boardwalk and returned in 15 and the table was ready in less than 5min.

The Cod came out perfectly crisp with their Honey Orange beer batter and paired perfectly with the same beer. NOTE: The Regular fries are much much better than the sweet potato fries. I hate to say they were some of the less impressive ones I've ever had. The service was excellent amidst the outdoor seating area with lovely heaters to keep us warm on a chillier day, though. No complaints but steer clear of the sweet potato fries if you prefer a crisp/crunchy fry.

Super friendly staff and great product selection. If Seaside had a "Cheers Bar" this would be it.read more

#THANKYOUTHURSDAY On…read morethe way home from our Cannon Beach overnight trip last weekend, we decided to swing through the Seaside Outlets. I mean, what kind of Washingtonian are you if you don't stop at at least ONE outlet mall? No tax, people... We mainly came to the outlets for Nike, Bath & Body Works, and Carter's. Being wine & beer lovers though, the name of this spot intrigued us. We were pleased to not find anybody else in the store except for the older gentleman working. The store is laid out nicely and is spacious. They've definitely got more wine than they do beer, but they've got a lot of both. The wine selection is phenomenal. So much! They've got wines from Oregon, California, and Washington. So many different kinds. I had a blast looking over all the different bottles and making my selections. My husband was also really happy with the beer offerings here. If you want to enjoy something in the store, you're able to do so. They have both wine & beer on tap available for consumption in the store. I didn't get the gentleman's name who was working, but he was so sweet and so helpful. I was having troubles picking between a few certain wines, and he helped make my decision and it was clear he was super passionate and knowledgeable about the products. Going further on that, he noticed my husband's beer selections and suggested a handful of other beers for him based off of the flavors he seemed to like - aka, we bought more beer than my husband intended ;) Even after grabbing two bottles of wine, and quiiite a bit of beer, after discount we only spent $60! There was a discount for a certain amount of cans (15% off for 8 I believe) and on the wines I snagged apparently too, which saved us $12. Highly recommend stopping by The Wine & Beer Haus if wine and beer is your jam. Outside of the wine & beer we got, the service was spectacular and I can only hope all the employees who work here are like the older gentleman who helped us out the day we were in. Thanks, The Wine & Beer Haus, for helping us add to our stash! ;)

I wish they had a better choice of beer so I didn't have to get Bud Light (lager), but you get what you get at, do I dare say, dive bars. Hmmmm, would you call this a dive bar? Except for the location, all arrows point to yes. They have video poker but it is usually pretty full. This is definitely a popular place. Even though it's not the best service and not enough seats, I will come back because of the location. Maybe they'll get an actual lager on tap.

Not once did she acknowledge me, just a slight smirk and went around the whole bar asking everyone if they needed refills, even some who still had full drinks. Then started to have a convo with a man at the end of the bar. She knew I was there. Finally I waved and asked if I could get a drink and she rolled her eyes and said yes. What is with this girl? What kinda game is that? Rude The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because another employee came in when she left and while he was nicer, was still only chatting it up with locals and I had to interrupt their conversation to be served.
